Primary Care Specialists of Orlando

If I could give this place a negative star, I would. They have been nothing but problematic since I started going and the Attitude of those people are incredibly rude. Let me first start off by saying that I started using them because the hours were convenient and it was half way between my house and work site. There were nothing but problems from the get go.
1. You make an appointment and you will still wait and wait and wait. no consideration of your time.
2. extremely rude office manager Stacy Bayer! she should be working as a bouncer, not an office manager.
3. Wait time to receive a call back should you need «Anything»
4. WILL NOT TELL YOU THE COST OF YOUR VISIT UNTIL AFTER YOU SEE A DOCTOR! i have NEVER seen this type of anti-​customer service. How in the world do you agree to see a doctor without knowing how much $ you will be asked to pay? completely asinine, and if you dare question them on anything, you are accused of having an attitude.
5. Referred a sick co-​worker to them and they refused to see her because she would not agree to be seen until they gave her a price range of payment (she is low income) and they refused! HORRIBLE treatment!!!
6. THEY WILL COMPLETELY screw up your billing records. I have had lab work done on site (which they charge extra for the convenience) and even thought I pay at the time of the visit, they will still send you thousands of bills for the lab work.
7. trying to call to discuss the incorrect billing takes WEEKS of back and forth, voice mails etc. But if you start to demand decent customer service (like a call back within reasonable time, you are accused of being rude)
8. They make you go in (so they can collect more $$, because thats what they are ultimately about) every single time you need a refill on a prescription, so you have to pay for the office visit.
9. Doctor Assistants (*Sheyla) has attitude from HELL and does not return phone calls, voice mails, etc. and when you FINALLY do get her on the phone, she treats you like she is doing you a favor.
10. I was recently discharged from this place due to supposedly rude behavior, but everything I have outlined above happened and it was all about the $$ with these people. + completely rude grandstanding behavior from the staff. BEWARE OF THIS PLACE! they are basically a doctor mill, they run through them quickly and then they leave. Now I know why. glad to be done with them, but I decided they shouldnt get away with their terrible treatment of patients, so Im letting the world know what my personal experience was! DO NOT USE THIS PLACE!!!

This is the best doctor in Orlando by far. They have a smarter approach to seeing the doctor in the way that they make you feel like a normal person. I see Paul or Karl, which prefer that you call them by their first names, in order to break the tension from the beginning.
They are very progressive and have a super friendly staff. In 34 years, I have never been to a better doctor.

Others rate this office highly, but my experience was completely different with Paul Hutschenreuter, the physicians assistant.
I saw Paul for a general wellness checkup. As usually the case, he asked lots of questions about lifestyle, etc., but not once about immunizations or STDs. After finding out that I am gay, he immediately asked how long it had been since I had had an HIV test. I was completely caught off guard. So I just answered the question. From there, he went back to the original string of questions.
I have spoken with a couple of doctors that are in the family, and this is not a normal question. If you are LGBT, do not go to this discriminatory office!

Just wanted to give a shout out to my Doctor — Paul Hutschenreuter at Primary Care Specialists on S Orange Ave… My daughter and I (and most of my Parlour Salon and Spa family) have been seeing him for years now. I cannot say enough about Paul! He so obviously loves what he does, is passionate, has a fantastic bedside manner and always remembers everything about us. If you are looking for a new general practitioner, consider him!

Does anyone know where Dr. Balint is now. She was fantastic. I really dont want to find a new Dr.

So, I’m seeing another doctor now, Dr. Hutschenreuter. He asks people to just call him Paul. I prefer to refer to him as Dr. Paul. Simply because you know, spend a lot of money going to medical school, I think it’s fair to be call doc.
At any rate, really pleased with care so far. He takes time out and explains things really well. He has a light personality that puts one at ease. I have experienced some doctors that seem to have a very stiff and heavy persona, but not here. There is no «doctor speak» here which is really nice for us non-​medical people.
The office uses electronic technology for scripts and orders which makes things really nice as well.
