A NCC graduate and business owner, I have been caring for animals for many years. I was raised on Long Island, NY in a large family of 2 brothers, 2 sisters, 2 cats, a beagle, a pomeranian and black labs (and black lab mixes). (Sometimes birds, hamsters and fish too). My Mom and Dad would bring home and care for stray dogs (usually black labradors and black lab mixes) that were abandoned. We would care for them and love them too, and find them forever homes. I followed in their footsteps and began rescuing and rehabilitating labradors for many years. I am American Red Cross Certified in Dog & Cat CPR and First Aid and have many years of hands on experience in behavior modification, basic training, and always learning, listening and reading about new behavior modification techniques, stories pertaining to dogs & cats. I support the Central Florida SPCA, ASPCA of New York and the HSUS. There is no greater joy than to love what you do, and I can honestly say, I love what I do.
