I am middle eastern and thought the food to be average… i have had much better, but its not bad. I just feel for the prices it should be better and $ 8 for 3 small kibbis was a but much for me. Also i ordered a $ 22 dish that had the mix of meats which again was average in taste and rice was undercooked and portion was not small, but not large either. What boggled me is how can u not get any pita bread or sauces with that dish! Also service was average and waiter messed up on order and i still had to pay for it and was forced to pay an 18% tip on a table of 4 adults and 2 small children. So the whole experience for me was just average and maybe even below average.

My wife and I started our dinner with Shrimp Cigars which were very tasty. Our entrees were two tangine dishes-mine was lamb and my wife’s was chicken. We both agreed the lamb was superb even though my wife does not generally like lamb. Her chicken dish was fine. We had rice pudding for dessert which was pleasant also. We were nicely entertained by a belly dancer. Our waitress was very good-acted like she was glad to be there, glad we were there, and helpful in describing and suggesting menu items. The décor is very nice, but worn, The restaurant, including the men’s restroom, was clean. I could not give this place 5 stars because it took two 60 mile roundtrips to eat there once. That is because according to several Internet sources and Pasha’s own sign by their door said they were open on Mondays-not so… A word to the wise-call ahead to verify they are going to be open when you arrive.

Terrible! We went there last night for a small birthday dinner. We had about 8 adults. 4 people ordered the shish kabob and the server told us 20 mins after we ordered that they ran out of shish kabobs. They only had enough for 3 but not 4 so someone had to change their order. We asked for the lamb kabobs and the server said they had run out of that too… «Then, what do you have?», I asked. She suggested the kofta kabob that My dad ended up not liking. We were pretty annoyed by then… I ordered the lamb tangine and it was basically lamb in a broth. It was so terrible! I asked her about it and she said they were making some changes and this was a different recipe. Who makes changes that created a totally different favor? I can understand adding a few flavors, making minor changes to make it better but not taking out the whole entire tangine flavor. At this point, we figured they ran out of the ingredients. I came here before and the lamb tangine was great with the olives, spices, prunes and a thicker stew. I was very disappointed last night. It was literally lamb in a broth and not the traditional tangine flavor I am use to. This was the reason I came… Just for the lamb tangine! My party ordered the shish kabob to be cooked medium and they weren’t. It was over cooked and dry. Service was terrible! The server was great at the beginning but as the place was filling up, she got worst. They were short staffed. It looked like there was only 2 – 3 servers for the whole place. No one ever came to clear the 2 tables next to us(on the left & the right side) after they left. DON’T COMEHERE! The food is terrible! They’ve come downhill since they had opened. They run out of food and do not make the traditional dish as it is stated on the menu. The kabob portions are tiny! The only got a star from me b/c of the live entertainment.

Not impressed with the food. The place was small and loud. They had live Jazz music which doesn’t go with Mediterranean place the waitress was a disaster she said it was her first day so in my opinion someone should have been with her training. Food items were overpriced for the quality of the food.

Enjoyed a nice sampling of good Mediterranean Food, the lentil soup with gyro salad & special drink along with the smooth mellow sounds from the Sax & Horn laid down by our friends Tony & Cameron set the tone for my first visit

Great food. I had an order of hummus and beef kabobs. It was really good. Definitely will stop by again when in Orlando.

My wife and another couple went on a groupon to this location. It included 2 apps, 4 dinners(with small limitations), 2 desserts, and 4 glasses of house wine. The atmosphere at first glance was very nice and to style. Unfortunately, after spending more than a minute inside, you find the place not very well taken care of. Many seat covers were ripped, the wood edge around the platform in the middle of the room was chipped and peeling away, and the bathroom was dingy. There was a place roped off which we thought was for VIPs, but the server said it was for larger parties. The music was distracting at times, especially when the loop began again, and we weren’t there longer than an hour and a half! There was quite a bit of Shakira. Service was slower, but friendly enough. The place was EMPTY when we came in, we were literally the only people in the restaurant. Perhaps business picks up later in the evening — we were there at 7, and a few tables were sat near the end of our meal. The food was good and the meal portions were fair. One of the apps we got was rather small for the price(a chicken patty of some sort — there was only 3, as opposed to the spinach pie our friends got that had 6 pieces), as was one of the desserts(one piece of baklava for $ 5?). The tiramisu, however, was fairly large, but heavy for what I’m used it. I did enjoy it though, as well as the baklava. The place was nice enough, but a bit overpriced for what you get for normal prices, it was ok for how much we ended up paying. There wasn’t any entertainment, though it may have been awkward to have a belly dancer for one table. Everything was ok, but just seemed tired and worn out, and nothing had any effort put into it. There are plenty of other restaurants in the area that are much better for the same prices or cheaper.

I do not recommend this place, I walked in today with my husband for dinner and no body was there welcoming us. The whole restaurant depends on ONE man, who is a the reception guy, the ONLy!!! Waiter and surprisingly the bar tender??? So When this guy came and seated us he left us without asking us even what we wanna drink. Then we decided to leave and no body seems to care about us or even the other customers???

I really hope they only pull this kind of crap with their Groupon customers, but their portion sizes are ridiculously small. I’m convinced they took their normal portion and cut in half in order to make more money. Add to it that they claimed to «run out» of their kibbeh and merguez, which just so happened to be the more expensive things on the menu. I’d like to believe it was just bad luck but it looks like this«happens» often. The food is decent, but I just wanted more of it. Would anyone actually pay $ 17 for 5 half-inch pieces of lamb and a cup of rice or $ 8 for three 1⁄3 inch diameter shrimp cigars(more like cigarettes haha)? This place isn’t fine dining by any stretch of the imagination. Service here is also a bit off. They don’t keep your water glasses filled and expect to sit at your table for a good 20 minutes before your server comes to greet you. The servers really don’t seem to care about their job and it translates to super slow service(expect to spend 3 hours for dinner). The worst part was that they weren’t even that busy(4 tables when we were there). All in all, this place isn’t worth your time with or without the Groupon.

Headline: Satisfying middle Eastern meal in reasonable portions Walked by and dropped in for dinner, because after our middle Eastern trip we’d developed an affinity for their cuisine! What: Mediterranean platter: hummus, baba ganoush, grape leaves, and tabouleh. There wasnt enough tabouleh(salad), but the dips were scrumptious Pasha salad– a combination of several salads, with minced beets, carrots, peppers, eggplant, tomatoes and cucumbers. Nice light starter Chicken tagine– well stewed chicken swimming in juices with a side of rice Ambiance: Belly dancer came on after 7pm, which was entertaining. There’s a roped off area called the Moraccan room for birthday parties etc. Middle Eastern themed interior, 2 tvs inside. Lovely meal, fun place for an occasion

Visited recently after purchasing our Groupon for 4 people. It was an overall GREAT experience! We were seated in the back on some very cushiony seats. We had a baby in a car seat and they found us a table where we could keep that with us. There was even so much room, we laid the little guy down on the sofa chair right with us. Appetizers: This is where I take a point off. After showing us the appetizer menu, we ordered two delicious sounding ones. The waiter promptly told us that neither of those were available that night. I found that odd. There were 10 choices for appetizer and we just so happened to pick two that they didn’t have. We then asked him what else wasn’t available as we didn’t want to get disappointed again. There was only 1 or 2 more items(of course one that I’d wanted to order). I know it’s a small place and a weeknight, but it’s also a relatively small(actually I’d say just right-sized) menu, so I didn’t expect 10% of it to be unavailable. The appetizers that did come were OK. Nothing amazing, and quite small, but good. Main Entrees: Everyone but me ordered lamb. Both the lamb couscous(which was GIGANTIC) and the lamb tagine. The couscous was absolutely delicious and was so much that my wife had to take some home even with me eating some of it! I ordered chicken tagine and honestly it was the best thing I’d eaten all month. It was about a half of a chicken served in a hot bowl with a delicious sauce/spices all over it. The side of saffron rice was flavorful, and the moroccan bread was amazing. I kept dipping the bread in the sauce over and over and scooping up chicken with it as well. An amazing meal! Dessert: It was again, just good. The baklava was actually pretty amazing, the chocolate cake being pretty sturdy. If I head back, I’d probably skip appetizers and dessert and just eat a main meal. It’s really the best part and the biggest bang for your buck. Delicious!

I was taken here for a surprise birthday dinner, so I had zero expectations before walking in the door. The lighting was appropriately dim and it created a nice atmosphere. We ordred a platter appetizer that had baba ghanoush, hummus, grape leaves, and tabouleh. The plating was excellent, and it was delicious. It was probably the best baba ghanoush I’ve had in a long time. For my entrée, I ordred the Lamb Tagine. The presentation was nice and I tasted flavors that I had never been introduced to before. It was amazing. There was a belly dancer going around with a candelabra on her head. She was pretty good. There was a multi-colored lights flying around the room for the whole dinner, which was the only thing that I didn’t really like. The food was excellent, and I am definitely going back again.

I’ve come here twice. The first experience was great! The food was good, service was great, and we got hookah too which we enjoyed. The second time I came here the food was good but cold, service was okay, and we didn’t get hookah. I’m surprised like some others that they don’t have someone at the front to seat us immediately, both times I had to wait for someone from the back to help us. I’m still giving the place 3 stars because they’re food has been good each time and even though my second experience wasn’t great, I still enjoyed my night!

I came here on a living social deal. Which can be fun to inspire me to try new things. Having said that; I really hate this place. My husband and I arrived at 5:30 on a Saturday night. I considered calling ahead for reservations, but we were so early I decided to chance it. I know on some of the deals they require it. Again, I took my chance. When we entered the very empty restaurant, no one was available to greet us. There were three other couples in the whole restaurant. I wanted to leave, but I had to use the certificate and I wasn’t going to try again. After a few minutes, someone came to sit us, and asked us if we had reservations. «Oh– do we need one?» I asked, as I gave a sweeping look over the restaurant. She made a point to then look at a notebook on the reservation stand and tell me that they will be very busy tonight and normally they would be packed by now, but people must be staying away because of the weather.(Side note: — no clue what she means by that. It wasn’t raining, etc) She then made a point to count out all the tables as she was walking by to be sure to save them for those later reservations. Obviously it’s not going to get better at this point. And again, I was going to call it a loss and forget about the certificate, and just head over to Sushi Katana next door, which we’ve had a far better experience at. The décor of this place was really beat up. It looks like its seen better years. All the wood had knicks and was peeling and the column we sat next to had white paint splattered on the side. Our waitress wasn’t that friendly either, and very slow service. We got the spanikopita, it wasn’t bad. I was pleased with the small salad that came before the entrée. Both my entrée and my husbands was almost cold, by the time we had a few bites it was cold. I got the shrimp kabob and my hubby got the chicken kabob. Very bland and boring. Dessert was the baklava, that I did enjoy. Never again. Surprised it was rated by other Unilocalers so highly. Good luck if you try this place

We went here with a group of about 15 on a Friday night to celebrate a special occasion. We got there at about 6:30 and we pretty much had the place to ourselves. There is a section towards the back that can be closed off with curtains which was perfect for our group. You can close the curtains for privacy but with them open you also have a great view of the belly dancer. Yes that’s right a belly dancer, usually begins at about 7:30pm. Drinks were good and for a great price. I got the lentil soup and chicken adana kabab. I wish I would have gotten my lentil soup first, all of our food came out at once. We did have a large group so I understand it can be a handful but our server seemed a bit lost. I enjoyed my food and it was plentiful. Shared some withy fiancé and still did not eat it all. Music began and life filled the room. It was a different place from when we first walked in. The belly dancer tries to get everyone involved but it may be a bit much for some people trying to have a peaceful dinner. Our group enjoyed it and got up to dance with her! Overall great experience and perfect for a Friday night out!

Had an awesome experience at Pasha. Great food served in a traditional way. Good décor. Turns into a club weekends after 11PM. Has belly dancers during dinner on Friday and Saturday. Reasonable price and amazing dishes, about $ 20/person with drinks.

After a day of shopping at the outlets we were hungry and wanted some healthy Middle Eastern food and chose Pasha Tavena and Lounge after Unilocaling for the best place nearby. And close to the mall it was across the street! We ordered the Hummus appetizer and it was really good. I ordered the Chicken Tagine and my Man ordered the Beef Kabob. I loved the presentation the Tagine comes in a Terracotta bowl with a lid. The Kabob came on a plate and plenty of steak. The rice was delicious too. The décor in the place was appropriate and I had pillows in the seating area it made it much more comfortable.
We were happy with our orders and were satisfied with this place.

Delicious middle eastern food! And I should know since I am middle eastern :) We started with the mediterranean platter which had a little of everything: grape leaves, hummus, babaganoush, tabouli. Everything was delicious. I ordered the lamb kabob which came with rice and a side salad. The lamb was tender and perfectly seasoned. The portions were generous and the prices are very reasonable. They have belly dancing shows on Fridays and Saturdays which I definitely want to come back for. The waitress said they were famous for their tagines so, that might be the thing to try. Nice and authentic décor and atmosphere. They also have hookah outside.

The honey and I came here last night with a mission in mind; to kick back, relax and enjoy an evening without the kids around so we could actually have an unfiltered adult conversation. :) Because this was our first adventure to this place, we were extremely curious to see what kinds of offerings they had on their menu. And after looking over the menu a while, we quickly decided that this is just another Mediterranean place offering traditional menu items. Not a bad thing! I LOVE mediterranean! So because nothing was out of the norm, we decided to get the Babaganoush, Gyro and Shish Kabobs. As we were placing our order, we were kindly informed that they ran out of Ribeye for the Shish Kabob so we opted for the Kofta Kabob. Not a biggy. And after placing the order, the server asked if that’s all we were getting. We looked at each other with confusion like, «Uhhhhh, yes… we’re just 2 people.»(I promise, this is a relevant part of the story) While ordering the food and getting the food was quite easy and pleasant, it was eating the food that was a disappointment. The Babaganoush was about average size in serving and less than average taste. Because this was just an appetizer, we overlooked this and eagerly waited for the Gyro and Kofta Kabob. And then, the entrees started to come out… ahhhh, the moment I’ve been waiting for! As I anxiously sat in my seat to see the presentation but I stopped myself from asking if I had ordered an appetizer because I thought I ordered the meal. But before I could ask, she announced what the dish was called, «And here’s the Kofta Kabob.» So, do you guys remember when she asked if this is all that we were ordering? Here’s why. What was starting at me on my beautifully presented dish was 5 breakfast sausage size links sitting on my plate. Dudes and dudettes, I thought I ordered a Kabob… not a breakfast platter. And while the presentation was nice, I felt like the portion size ripped me off for what they priced this thing at.(See my pic) And when we bit into the Gyro, it was quite a battle. Between a crusty and chewy pita almost to the consistency of a Gordita from Taco Bell, and with lamb meat that was dry, I almost called Scooby and the gang to search for my tzatziki sauce because I could have sworn it wasn’t there… but after desperately opening up the wrap and discovering that yes, there was in fact a tiny drizzle that existed amongst the wilted early browing lettuce and 3 pieces of diced tomatoes, I had to call off the mission. I skipped dessert altogether and I don’t regret it. With the experience I just had, I just didn’t want to take a chance on getting a stale slice of baklava. I sure wish I had a better experience but the service was almost non-existent along with the flavors, portions and quality in the food.

This place is great. It was sort of a last-minute decision to stop by on my way back from the Sebring Raceway with a friend. It’s beautiful on the inside, large but comfortable feeling. The staff seems friendly and helpful if you’re up for some suggestions. I started with the Shrimp Cigars appetizer, which was great. I also tried my friend’s falafel appetizer which was also delicious(though if I had to choose, I would prefer the Shrimp Cigars). I then ordered the Gyro pita wrap, and to be honest the only reason I regretted the decision was because I focused on it as soon as I saw it, and now I’ve looked closer at the rest of the menu and I REALLY want to go back! The Gyro was perfect though, and the rice was also tasty. It was definitely filling enough for me and at something like $ 8, priced very well for what you get. As an added bonus, a few minutes before we left a belly dancer came out and started dancing. She was very good, and right around the time we left she had started engaging the crowd, making everyone take notice and enjoy the show. I’m sad that we had to leave when we did, since we only got to see a few minutes. On our way out, the owner shook our hands and thanked us for the visit, always a nice gesture. Great experience overall here, I can’t wait to come back to try more of the menu.
