I was here a few years ago for a business idea I wanted to launch for a restaurant, After in depth consideration and research, I thought I would not continue with that idea. Years later, I have decided to fulfill my passion: Escape Rooms.
I have high confidence in my business idea and I am well underway with my idea. I am familiar with this place, so I know where to start. They offer courses to help you launch your own business idea. No matter what age or business. This is definitely a place to connect with because they offer so much resources to assist with a entrepreneur.
Some courses cost about $ 30 as some are $ 10. They offer a course program package of about $ 120 for 5 courses. Great deal. I would highly recommend checking this place out to learn how to start your own business. If this center cannot help you, they will direct you to the people who will help you.

Success Story 2015
Joining the military at the age of 17 years old was a fundamental part of my life and ultimately my career. The military provided a foundation for work ethic and the ability to undertake change with ease. Initially, education was the driving force while serving. After a few weeks in boot camp it was obvious that leadership, organization structure and the ability to get things done were significant in stature. Being exposed to these dynamic influences provided abundant realization that serving in the military, was much more than «getting an education.» Serving is giving back to your Nation. It was with great honor to have served 8 years in the United States Navy and earned several accommodation metals and recommendation letters for my service for assignments domestically and overseas. Upon being honorably discharged, I found myself in emotional disarray with a lack of understanding how exactly to correspond my military knowledge, skills or abilities into civilian terminology. I often found myself struggling with explaining my military work efforts performed during interview segments.
While on active duty I earned my associates of science from Vincennes University, and once honorably discharged I pursued and graduated with a bachelor’s in business administration from Saint Leo University. Even still, obtaining degrees from accredited universities did not allow for job opportunities to open up right away. I still had to overcome speaking in militant forums. I had to learn how to communicate to civilians with words and phrases, which were recognizable to the corporate world. Using my military background as a foundation for growth, I decided to go back to school and obtain my masters in business administration with a concentration and human resources from Saint Leo University. With the support of my spouse, I decided to go the final step and earn my doctorates in business administration from Jones International University. I decided to refocus my career path on «giving back» and helping people in the down economy starting a human resources consulting company, Smarter Not Hard LLC. Smarter Not Harder focuses business management education and training.
Teaching is something that has always come naturally to me. I have always been a «teacher» for as long as I can remember. In the military, I was recommended for several training and management positions. Recently I found myself «underemployed» for the past 5 years seeking the right career that would allow me to feel fulfilled in my ability to promote personal growth of others. My spouse informed me about a «Veterans Hiring Initiative» and suggested that I apply to the program. I was skeptical at first, but my natural optimism kicked in and I completed the application process. I was accepted and started attending meetings. The initial meeting discussed interview tactics and ways military personnel could improve their interview conversations. The information I received has been invaluable. Shortly after the initial meeting I received a phone call from an organization, which I had applied for an educational management and teaching position. I was able to utilize the tools suggested during the initial meeting.
I’m happy to report that after 3 interviews, I was selected for the Academic Business Department Chair position with St. Pete College and my life has improved 100%. I feel that attending the «Veterans Business Initiative» impacted my life in a positive way and I hope that the program thrives and becomes available for all veterans.

One thing I always bring up when people ask me why I love Orlando: «Because it’s small enough to start a wave and big enough to turn it into a movement.» Well, the National Entrepreneur Center helps local business owners launch their ideas into reality and I have nothing but love and respect for that, it’s really just an awesome spot that more people need to be aware of and take advantage of.
It’s located in the Fashion Square Mall and has a great setup. There are small offices and conference rooms. It has been around since 2003 and is the partnership of Walt Disney World, Orange County Government & The University of Central Florida. It is a «shared facility» & collaborative approach to small business development that truly helps the local economy. They have a handful of service provider partners as well. If you are looking to start a business or need assistance with your ideas or business, don’t hesitate to stop in here and learn. This is a small business nonprofit hub that has assisted more than 12,000 business owners and would-​be entrepreneurs since inception. It would be silly not to check this place out.

Great resource for the small business community! They house numerous non-​profit business support organizations that offer a range of services from free one-​on-​one business coaching and networking events to low-​cost business education seminars.
