Apparently the workers make up their own schedule and close an hour early! So convenient! last time I go there!

Great service, competitive prices, and very friendly staff. I came in needing some help and the employees are very knowledgeable. I am definitely coming back here anytime I need service.

Called to get an estimate for the replacement of a catalytic converter for my 2002 Chevy Blazer and was quoted $ 1,045 with a time estimate of 2 hours. Ended up taking it to a small muffler biz and getting it changed for $ 298 total with tax in about 30 minutes. I guess at Midas a catalytic converter replacement means they are going to replace my entire exhaust system. Buyer beware, get more estimates. The rent must be really high there.

If you’re looking for a place that could really care less about you, this is the place. The manager behind the desk was too busy fixing his pen to acknowledge my existence. When he finally did, it was to let me know I should come back in an hour because everyone is out to lunch. I understand that people need to take lunch, but this guy made it clear that he didn’t want my money.

Great group of guys. Very honest and didn’t try to get me to buy something I didn’t need!

THIS PLACE WAS HORRIBLE! My car wouldn’t start so AAA helped me get it to the nearest mechanic… big mistake. They told my my starter needed to be replaced among other things and the piece was about $ 250 and the labor would be about 270. They also told me my belts were cracked and there was something wrong with my transmission, in total the bill would be more than a grand. I take good care of my car and thought this sounded suspicious so I called my personal mechanic in Miami. He said the labor for the starter would be no more an an hour and shouldn’t exceed $ 90-​$ 100. When I told the mechanic at Midas that I would not be getting my car fixed there he then decided to inform me he had made a mistake on the maintenance price by choosing an incorrect button on the computer. The manager told me the mistake happens and did not apologize. I took my car to another mechanic who said the starter would cost about $ 215 but the labor was only $ 91. He looked at the rest of my car and stated there was nothing wrong with my transmission or belts. This place took one look at me and decided they were going to scam me. DON’T GO HERE!

My husband and I always go here for minor stuff like oil changes or tire rotations. We also always go with a coupon on hand. They’re very nice and our longest wait has been an hour for oil changes, depending on how busy they are we usually leave a little early.
Take a magazine or your DS cause they usually have the most boring stuff on their TV or super outdated magazines.

I had a minor problem with an old car of mine. The exhaust pipe had broken loose from the tab that attaches it to the frame of the car. This was going to require some welding, and was way outside my skill set on car repair. I made an appointment to bring my car in on a Saturday morning. They got to it right away, and made a very professional repair. The price was reasonable, and I was back on the road in a short period of time. I enjoyed a free coffee and read a magazine during my brief stay.

So my brakes were starting to squeak slightly and my AC climate control wasn’t working. So I called around and this Midas gave me the best rates by far. They replaced my pads and rotors although I don’t think I needed new rotors. But I don’t know enough about brakes to say for sure. But that’s not why I am giving them 1 star. So I mentioned my AC climate control wasn’t working. I was at Midas for nearly 5 hours so while waiting I decided to do some research on my phone. I found that people who were experiencing a similar problem found that it was due to a faulty «blower resistor.» At this point the mechanic «Rodney» had already told me that I needed a new climate control unit and that with labor it would be 230 or so. After finding what I found online I spoke to Rodney and told him that it seems like this blower resistor malfunction is my problem. He at this point told me that he of course checked to see if it was the resistor and offered some explanation to discredit my finding. I told them I would hold off on the service… with the rotors that I apparently needed it was already getting extremely expensive. After I left midas I went to the auto parts store bought a resistor for 100 dollars, a socket set for 10 bucks, spent 15 mins installing it and my AC works again. I am 100 percent positive that this place was trying to get me to pay for something that I did not need to increase their sales figures. DO NOT GO HERE. They will do all they can to rip you off.

I own a 99 Honda Civic. I came here to replace my muffler. I showed up at 4:00pm and was out of there by 4:30pm! The price with parts and labor was somewhere around $ 275…which is typical for a muffler replacement. They were very personable and down to earth and didn’t try to sell me a bunch of crap I didn’t need. I’m going back next week to get my brakes done.

Small and old but the service is good.
