I’m in love with this park. Great for kids, families, and activities. It’s very clean. Maintenance is great. I haven’t had a chance to use their bathroom facilities, so I cannot give my opinion on that end. However, I must say, that even though the park is dog friendly, it’s still outstandingly clean. The people in the surrounding areas are very nice. The park has a doggy are, bridge with a beautiful lake(great for pictures), nice little monkey bar playground, volleyball court, basketball court, and lots of running space. Great park.

It’s tucked away at the end of a neighborhood, near a school. The overhead wires and frequent air traffic is a slight negative, but the playgrounds are excellent. There is a fenced-in version for the smaller ones and then a second playground adjacent for bigger kids. Both have that soft rubber ground instead of mulch. There were also a couple of small shaded picnic table areas. We didn’t do the dog runs, but those were crowded. The«nature walk» is pretty weak — just a loop, probably a mile or less, around a retention pond and not particularly serene. But, due to the great play facilities, we’ll be back with the kids.

Used to come here all the time with my wife and our dog. Then life got in the way and we didn’t make it out as often. Now that our son is a bit older, we’ve started coming again. I like the new additions like the dog washing station. Always had nice, shaded seats. The place can get pretty muddy in the summer and after a day or two or rain, but that’s about the only knock on it. Nothing much fancy and the people are pretty polite. We usually take our small dog to the big side because he gets along better with them and it’s never an issue.

So THRILLED to find this park!!! Althougth many parks exist in the Hunters Creek area, a lot of them are more ball parks – soccer, baseball, etc. Although I really enjoy the scenery of Kissimmee Lakefront Park, currently a lot of construction is in progress, making it not walkable. It’s been very frustrating not finding a park dedicated to walkers and joggers, and so this park is an answer to my prayers. It’s actually in the same area as the Orland Magic recreation center. Clear, walkable paths, with some scenic touches – a lake, park benches, and wildlife. I spotted cranes, of course, along with a rabbit on my walk here. In addition, signs warning people not to feed the alligators leads me to believe there is wildlife of a different kind here as well. I also appreciate the water fountains and restrooms that were being cleaned on my visit. Imagine, clean restrooms at a park. I also love that this is also a dog park. AND to have separate space for small and large dogs is a big plus. I love watching the dogs go for it without any inhibitions. It really is a great dog park because there are double fences so that the litter critters will have a harder time sneaking out of gates. There are also covered tables inside the dog area. Plus, playground areas are available for the little ones. Such a great find. I have a feeling I will be visiting this park a LOT.
