Great Pet supply and food store. I especially love the kibble that they carry here. Samir is super friendly and very knowledgable. If you’re not sure what to feed your dog, stop in and he’ll be able to help you out.

Fantastic experience and would highly recommend them to anyone. Friendly staff and meticulous grooming — couldn’t be happier with how well they treated our little Izzy.

Be wary of bringing a skittish pet here. Chaotic and disorganized, probably fine for more socialized animals and regulars, but our dog was freaked out from the start because the person working with us *immediately* turns on a shop vac after leading her to the back room and dropping her leash handle to the floor. Just… why? Also be mindful of off-​leash dogs wandering around if your pet is dog-​aggressive. Owners seemed like good people but it was not the place for us.

I have taken my dog to magic pet twice now, once for full groom and once for mini groom. Both times they were great. This is so close and so much nicer than petsmart, which i liked for grooming too but were ofter all booked. The owner is great and his dog is a sweetheart. My favorite part is that they use premium products and they do not charge you for things like conditioner, which my dog absolutely needs, or nail grinding which she also needs. The groomer is great too we have had two different ones that listen to what I wanted done and that seemed to really enjoy what they do. Overall this is my go to groomer now. Thank you magic pet!

I’m new to town and needed a local pet store that I could buy good quality grain free/​organic food. These people are great, (a husband and wife team), they’re nice, knowledgeable and they have a lovely pitbull that sits in a chair as their mascot! The place is clean and the prices are reasonable. I’m excited to be nearby and will definitely continue to take my business there!

After not having much luck at Pet Smart for my special rescue dog. I brought my dog here based on reviews. Plus it was the only place opened on Sunday that had an opening for my nervous dog who hadn’t had a haircut since I got him 3 months before. He was so nervous but the groomer was such a sweet pro at handling him. She had me sit with him so that he would feel comfortable. So that future visits, he would feel safe. I watched her handle him with care and was very sweet to him. I would definitely come back here again for dealing with my nervous little pup! I would recommend if anyone is nervous about having their dog behave well. The groomer was really good with him and had years of experience.

Awesome specialty dog store. They carry all the healthy, organic dog food & treat brands. The owner is very helpful in guiding you exactly to what you are looking for. So many cool little nick-​nacks and neat things, like Honest Kitchen digestive supplements and ice treat mixes!

This is only place we take our morkie Finn to be groomed! He always looks amazing and well manicured after his appointment. The prices are great too! It’s also a great store for specialty dog treats, food & toys! I highly recommend this business for any dog lover!

Great little pet shop in the Baldwin Park area. They took over the space previously occupied by Baldwin Bark. To be honest, only thing that has really changed is the name and the owners. The interior of the store looked the same to me.
They sell a large amount of high quality pet food and products, toys and other pet related trinkets. The owner (I can safely assume) was behind the register. At first he didn’t really speak to us but when I approached him about the cost of their large bag of chicken chips, he warmed up. His dog is in the shop also and was so well behaved. We chatted about his dog as well as the types of food they carry. And I found out that he is related to the owner of Planet Pet and Farm & Pet Outlet. Small world since I shop at PP since it’s so close to my house.
I had a good experience here and would come back if I was in the area. Unfortunately, it’s out of the way for me so probably wouldn’t be a regular stop for me but if you live in the area and want the best for your dog, this would be a start!

Excellent store! The owners are so friendly. Their selection of high quality dog and cat food is probably one of the best in the area. Their prices are also great too, and they always have sales going on plus they price match. I would say the only downside to this store is that sometimes they have their young son working the register and he is very young, not very knowledgeable and not very approachable. But this is something they are aware of now, and there is absolutely nowhere I would rather go than this place.
Support local businesses! It’s better for your dog/​cat too!

This store was just okay. Maybe it’s because we went in there on a Monday afternoon but I couldn’t wait to leave. At first I had high hopes there was a nice dog named Jax that greeted us at the door. That was the highlight of the visit. There was a college or high school person at the register that couldn’t bother to look up. and we were the only people in there. He did say very softly let me know if you have any questions. I found a dry dog food I wanted to try in a trial size and I asked how much… He said 7 or 8 dollars from across the store. It was like one serving? I love supporting business in baldwin park and I ended up getting a large bag of natural dog food which was clearly marked $ 18.99. I took it to the register the the cashier said $ 26.50. I said it’s clearly marked $ 18.99. he said «It’s not in the system» I again pointed to the sticker and he finally figured out how to ring it up manually. I do have to say the selection of food seemed pretty robust. They had dry dog food and frozen dog food. Some dog toys. Looks like they had grooming in the back… Overall…the ambiance was very uninviting and unfriendly. Truly the saddest pet store I’ve ever been in. Nothing Magical here. I am giving it a 3 stars with the assumption I went on a bad day.

Magic Pet is a one stop store, especially if you live in Baldwin Park. My dog Melo gets his baths and grooming there with Nicky, she’s wonderful. I also buy all his raw food and treats there. Their prices are competitive with the big pet stores and they will price match if you find it cheaper somewhere else. The owner is very nice, he always takes good care of my dog. If you live near by, I don’t see why you would shop anywhere else for all your pet food, supplies and grooming.

Was clean and the staff was friendly. They carry speciality foods which is nice but the prices are higher then I usually pay. Nice if you’re a resident of Baldwin Park but nothing special as pet stores go.
