M2 Salon

I felt like I was 12 years old with straight long hair just hanging.
That’s not cool.
I wanted layers, but need it done correctly, so my friend and fellow Unilocaler told me about this place.
Azalia was professional and gave me the layers I so desperately needed to bring me back to adulthood. Very professional and they honored the Unilocal deal.
The salon itself is very cute and clean, and prices are reasonable. Would definitely return.

As a newbie in town like many other reviewers, I had to Google a good place to get my extremely curly yet fine hair trimmed and came up with M2 Salon as it was close to my apartment and had excellent reviews. Roe trimmed my hair and was very knowledgeable about giving my hair the treatment it needed so I didn’t walk out of there looking like a puff-​ball! There was no wait time and I was even taken early as just the stylist and receptionist were at the salon when I arrived, which was a plus since I was in and out in about 20 minutes. The only reason I did not rate M2 Salon a full 5 stars is because despite the fact I only received a trim, I still had to pay $ 36 + tip. Roe even said she felt bad that she had to charge me that much since I was only getting a trim. I didn’t feel awful about spending that much because the haircut was much overdo but I do wish it wasn’t so pricey. Overall, it was a good experience and I would go back because Roe knows how to work with curly hair.

There’s only a couple of times where I have immediately loved a hair cut/​color and this is one of those times. Roe did a fantastic job with my short hair.
With years of experience she could understand exactly what I was talking about. She asked multiple questions and was very professional. My color is precisely why I wanted as is my cut. I’m very picky with my hair and I’m left very impressed. I will be coming back here.

Laurie P. has been managing my unruly curly hair for a long time now. She knows difficult hair, makes it her slave and tries to accommodate your heart’s desire. She worked with me and completely changed my haircut. It took some time because we had to let it grow from a frightful haircut I received prior to visiting her. Not only is she a great stylist but she’s personable, kind and I consider her a friend. If you have hair that has a mind of it’s own, I strongly urge you to visit Laurie. I’m sure she’s great with hair that is not the devil too.

I just moved to Orlando and didn’t know where to go to get my hair done. I looked it up on the handy dandy Unilocal and found m2. Soon as I came in to m2 I felt like I’ve been here many times before.
I have VERY thick hair and fairly long. Daniel worked my hair like it was nothing! He made it look so easy! I’ve had hair dressers before struggle with my hair because of how much it is, but Daniel worked with it and got me the exact hair cut I showed him in a picture. I went in there with dry, hasn’t been cut in months hair and came out with a miracle! :P thanks Daniel for your hard work and for giving my hair life again!
The pricing is not bad at all. I had my hair thinned out, cut and straightened for $ 40. It was worth it! I will be coming back to this salon for all my hair needs! :)

I have been getting my hair done by Azalia for years now. Not only does she execute a fantastic cut and color but most importantly, she listens. All of the stylists are up on the current trends and give great suggestions. Great new location as well! I’m so excited to see their growth.
