I am uncertain as to whether this is a central Florida issue or a Lane Bryant issue, but the store selection blows. They load up on party girl clothes and large sized designs that don’t flatter large bodies, while neglecting to carry a basic stock of things like dress slacks, basic solid knit tops, a variety of jean sizes, etc. And for the love– WHY do you have 30 thousand thick sweaters in an Orlando, FL store? These are appropriate exactly ONE day a year in this area. Prices are consistently higher than at other stores and their clearance/sale stock is nonexistent.

When I first went to this store, it was during a grand opening and they had massive, 40% off everything sale. I’ve been back a few times and noticed that the prices at this location are consistently higher than those at other stores. For instance, I stopped in on Thursday after work and bought a shirt that was on sale for $ 15.99. Told my friend about it, we went to the store in Fashion Sq where it was on sale for $ 9.99. She bought it. Of course, then on Saturday there was another 40% the entire stock sale which brought the shirt down to $ 7.50 for some reason… anyway. The point is, shopping at the Waterford location, you’ll see more ‘work appropriate’ type clothing, but do your wallet a favor a shop around first before buying.
