I have been to several hibachi places before, so I do understand how you are expected to sit with strangers at your table. But for this occasion, it made me irritated. The server asked us to sit on the end, filling 2 of the 3 seats on the side. Then a family came in and they were asked to finish the third seat next to us and wrap around the to the other seating row. Perfectly fine until the dinner started and we saw the rest of the hibachi table was going to be empty with 5 more empty seats. So we were very crowded for no reason. I also didn’t like that they over cooked the steak, it was really tough and dry. But the other parts of the dinner were really good. The fried rice was great and so was their noodles.

This was our first time at Kobe’s and such an amazing experience. Not only was the food out standing but our chef was so talented and fun! It is a little pricey but definetly a special and memorable dinner for a birthday or special occasion for a couple or a family! I would make a reservation to this restaurant as it is very busy.

Don’t go. Valet parking is a mess. Got a reservation for 8:30. We get there and they tell us that we have«priority seating». In other words, we *only* have to wait 30 minutes whilst the plebes that come off the street have to wait an hour. The trouble is that the person we spoke with on the phone completely misrepresented the facts.

Everything was awesome except the wait. The hibachi style dinner was great. I had the Filet and Chicken Duo it was the bomb but my heart is still melting over the noodles!

SUCKSSSSSS!!! Seriously, avoid at all cost! This is the epitome of a tourist trap restaurant! We sat in the hibachi section so I don’t know if the Teppenyaki is any better but our food was not worth the price.

I had the lobster roll, the texture was a little off. I felt like the roll need something else but I couldn’t put my finger on it. The entrée I had the lobster fillet, it was excellent. The crab cakes were excellent. The seafood sauce had a blend of too much mayo. Our waitress My was probably the best waitress I’ve ever had. Waiting in bill now, I wish I would have been hungry enough eat all of this food.

My sushi was top notch I loved everything about it. Tasted so fresh, pretty presentation, good price for a huge roll. Our cook Chris was the best chef I’ve had at a hibachi place hands down. The managers were even helpful to their employees when the restaurant is packed like it was. Loved our chef so much im sure I’ll be back. You rock Chris.

I love this place. Between here and the altamonte springs location are the two best locations I’ve been too. I came here for my company outing and it was awesome! Our chef was a bit of a comedian which made our experience that much better. We had a large group about 16 of us and they accommodated us as a group without splitting us or having another party join ours. The food was great and plentiful. I would suggest this place to anyone that’s in the area.

So I visited tonight for Employee Appreciation for work. It was Magical Dining Month, so that was a PLUS. However, we made a reservation for 10. We were all mostly there by 7:40, only 10 mintutes passed our reservation time, but we still had to wait another 10 minutes to be seated. While we were waiting, we ordered drinks at the bar. Phong(I think that’s his name… sorry!) offered great service at the bar. We finally got buzzed, so we proceeded to our table. Lori was our server and Jimmy helped out. They were hospitable and did not look annoyed even with all the special requests we had. Chris was our cook and he was funny and personable. He performed the typical teppanyaki jokes, but he personalized them or always had a response when someone made a comment. Since we had the option for Magical Dining, we each were able to get an appetizer, entrée and dessert. Despite the reviews, we had great portions of food. I had the crab cakes for an app, Magical Trio, which consisted of chicken, scallops, and shrimp. The food was cooked perfectly. All but two couples had separate checks, so Lori had to run everything separately. She did so with patience and a smile. I would go out of my way to come back on a lunch break or when I am in the I-Drive area again.

Not impressed with this location. We ordered lobster tail, filet mignon, shrimp, and scallops off the regular menu and everything was just meh. The lobster tail and scallops were just average, shrimp was not good and the filet mignon… was that even filet mignon? It was chewy and I could hardly get my knife through it. Only positive is that our lychee martinis were really good. Other than that, not impressed and we spent entirely too much money to leave dissatisfied like we did.

I had a visitor from out of town and reserve a table for 11 people, due to heavy rain a few of us get caught in the traffic and came 30 min later. They won’t give us a table unless EVERYBODY are there. What kind of policy is it? By the time everybody was there, we have to wait another 40min, if we wanted the hibachi table. I give 2 stars is because our server were very nice and friendly, food was really average, nothing special absolutely not worth all the trouble.

Came back for a sashimi platter very good, pieces were smaller than typical platters, but everything tasted pretty good. If I remember correctly, it was salmon, tuna, hamachi and snapper.

waiting time 45 mins without reservation. Then she sit us by hibachi but we requested table. well show start. not really :). waiting time for drinks around 10 mins and wrong order. I order sweet tea and get sweet water :) no problem. Finally Show Show start :) some flames some words from cook but who know what he talking about. Whisper game. Some wiggle dance with shrimp and few mins later food on plate. Start with soup delicious, house salad good, main course. Shrimp, salmon, scallops. Shrimp over cook like rubber, salmon raw so lets back on cook table, scallops over cook. More playing with flames then care of food taste. oh and sushi. for 12 $ small size of sushi with fake crab meat :). Fancy place but they should work more with food quality. two stars only because sweet tea.

The atmosphere of the restaurant is very nice. Also included was a complimentary valet parking with a text messaging system that lets them know when you are ready to depart. The food was typical hibachi: soup, salad, noodles, rice, vegetables, meat and of course a an entertaining culinary show. Everything was well cooked and tasty The couple sitting next to my group was very friendly and it made sharing a table with 10 people a little bit better. This is a great place to celebrate a birthday or anniversary. Reason behind rating: Great service, but they did not receive five stars because it was just like many other hibachi restaurants I have been to. Nothing destructively different; so only a four star rating.

We went to this Kobe on Monday May 16, 2014. My parents were celebrating their 30 year wedding anniversary and my husband and I are celebrating our 2nd day of marriage! Kobe is ABSOLUTELYAMAZING! The food is cooked fresh in front of you so you know exactly what you are eating. I have never tasted food so delicious in my whole life. They are great for large groups. Each table holds 10 people, and we had 9 so we got the chef(KEN) to ourselves. He was really fancy with his knives and really funny! Great addition to a great meal. Thank you so much for making our(very rare) family outing absolutely amazing! :):)
