History

Established in 1987.

Jesse’s Rib Shack was founded by the late Jesse Jackson in 1987. Jesse’s inspiration was to provide his customers with southern style Bar-​B-​Que with an authentic taste. Jesse’s homemade «Magic Sauce» has become a household name and adds to the signature taste of Jesse’s Rib Shack chicken, ribs, seadfood and more.

I can’t say enough good words! Yummy yummilicious yummy yum yum!!! Lol. We were stuck in traffic after a game and decided to might as well stop for ribs. I will make sure to stop here every after game! I will diet for 2 weeks just so I can come here. That’s how good their ribs are!!! Try it for sure!

A wonderful, family owned little whole in the wall of a shack as the name states. However don’t be detoured by that or the location because the food is top notch and the service is good. Their homemade and bottled lemonade is great too. My favorite item is the shrimp!

So, this is my second time visiting Jesse’s within three months and I have to say his food is delicious! The menu has an assortment of items from Bar-​B-​Q to fried lobster tail to signature lemonades! I’ve had the ribs (which are finger licking good), collard greens, mac and cheese, baked beans, seafood rice, fried lobster tail and fried snow crab cluster… not all at one time! It was all amazing! They have a mild and hot barbeque sauce. The hot is my favorite. This is a go to place for my friends and I every time we are in Orlando!

No seating, kind of intimidating at first glance. Once I walked up, the guys were very friendly and greeted me immediately. The smell of great food surrounded the entire block.
We tried rib tips, rib sandwich and seafood salad. The sauce was great. The ribs were tender yet just enough crisp on the edges. Smokey and flavorful. We ate in the car and tried not to get sauce on the seats or ourselves. So good.
