The only reason I stayed here has to do with the location. They are located in the center of International Drive, which makes it convenient to walk to lots of restaurants, bars, Grocery stores, and a mini shopping outlet. Initially, I’d booked for two nights with a king size bed. Upon checking in I was told they can only offer me a double standard room. Good thing they waived one of the night’s fee of $ 6. My room was boring, but just right for taking a shower, rest, and get out as quickly as I can. The beds were not comfortable, but I guess who cares when you are super tired after an awesome time in Orlando. They have a bunch of buildings connected to one another, I was in building D and it literally took me 20 minutes to find my room. Not the staff’s fault, but I think their direction should be more user friendly and clearer. I also feel like the staff don’t know much about the restaurants in the area. At one point I was craving Indian food and they had no idea if an Indian restaurant was in the area. Turns out there were two excellent Indian buffets about 4 minutes walking distance from the hotel. Overall the experience was not horrible, but you are getting what you are paying for…

The only reason this place gets a star is strictly due to location and convenience to the major attractions. A true example of «you get what you pay for.» My main negatives include the following: Overall run down & unclean Shower did not produce hot water unless you wanted to shower at 3 am when no one was using the hot water. The AC unit had 2 settings: blistering cold or scolding hot, both of which were accompanied by loud sounds that resembled a dump truck going through a nitroglycerin plant. The same can be said about the mini-fridge; unless you can sleep through anything, I’d suggest unplugging it altogether as I did. The bed: I’ve never been in the military, but«boot camp cot» was the first thing that came to mind when I laid down. Rock hard mattress, paper-thin sheets and a blanket that’s seen better days are what you’ll get. The only thing that made the bed the least bit enticing was the fact that I had been on my feet walking for 14 hours at Universal. The TV: a tv in our room was not a priority as we weren’t in our room other than to sleep and bathe, but a 19″ tube tv that even the Good Will wouldn’t take for donation is just laughable. Long story short, unless you want to pay to feel like you’re in a 1950s post-ww2 hostel in Poland, I’d suggest looking elsewhere for your room & board needs. Heck, you’d even consider sleeping in your car over this… Don’t let the price entice you!

We came in for a free presentation of a real estate course we are beginning to take. The staff at the front lobby of the hotel or not knowledgeable on anything related to the conference center, which made it quite difficult to know where to go. We helped ourselves to finding the convention area. Once we did, we came in to the right location. Everything was fine other than that and the chairs were very difficult to sit on it for a long period of time. I will not recommend this at all for holding conferences of several days and/or many hours sitting down on these chairs. I can assure you back pain for every single one of the attendees of a long presentation or conference at this location. All in all, I am only rating based on the convention center not on the hotel itself.

Do not go here! The pictures and website are to lure you in. I still do not understand why it is labeled a resort. We were so disappointed when our shuttle pulled up to this. It is run down. My daughter leaned on the bar in the elevator and it fell down. The entire place is old and dirty. I did not want to sleep here even though it was for just one night. This place should be closed or seriously remodeled. They have a nice pool area and that is it. You can find lots of nice hotels for the same price. Avoid this place if you can.
