History

Established in 1997.

Since 1997, InCharge’s Certified Financial Counselors have helped thousands of people struggling with credit card debt, going through bankruptcy or facing foreclosure on their home. As a leading nonprofit organization with an A+ rating by the Better Business Bureau, we are members of and adhere to the professional standards of the National Foundation for Credit Counseling (NFCC) and are accredited by the Council on Accreditation (COA) and are a HUD-​approved housing counseling agency. InCharge is dedicated to providing professional, confidential, and expert counseling services certified by independent audits and accreditations. Our Standards of Excellence have established us as leaders in our industry.

InCharge has worked with over 1.5 million clients. InCharge has helped clients pay off more than $ 2.8 billion in debt.

Tarina heads a staff of professionals including Certified Credit Counselors and Client Service Specialists dedicated to delivering personalized debt solutions through an innovative in-​person, online and telephone counseling Care Center.

In addition to meeting the standards of excellence required by the NFCC, COA, and BBB, InCharge Debt Solutions actively monitors compliance to our own set of excellence standards including the InCharge «Standards of Excellence,» «Client Bill of Rights,» and «Complaint Resolution» documented processes.
