My absolute favorite bar in Downtown Orlando, especially Wall Street Plaza. Every time I come I make sure I get at least one round of apple pie moonshine shots! It’s delicious, but be careful not to take to many! It will backfire on you! Those are dangerous. They always play the best music. A good mix of hip-hop that makes you want to hit the dance floor. This place is usually always crowded, but I never mind! I love it here!

Do not get the food as its Terrible! Got the worst nachos I’ve ever had and I never send things back but I had to because it was inedible. Got chicken fingers which wasn’t much better. They still charged me for the nachos which I thought was a bit odd. If your going out for a drink, come here for a good open air atmosphere.

Apple pie moonshine is a must try! Always a fun time and those shots really taste like apple pie. The bartenders are nice and work quickly. I’ve never had to wait too long to get my drinks. It’s a mixed crowd so it gets interesting.

Would never come back here if my life depended on it. Not only did the bartender UNDER pour our shots, took 20 mins for the ONE bartender who was working alone, on a busy Sunday night to acknowledge us. The best part was using the restrooms that had poop literally smeared across a few door handles and not to mention the lovely tampons and other hygiene products that were just hanging out all over the place. I would not be surprised if someone caught herpes from this place. Negative 5 stars

I usually come here and have a good time but today was a horrible experience. This bartender Miranda had horrible customer service. My friend ordered a drink and before she started pouring she wanted to change it. Miranda said she couldn’t switch and still poured the shot. My friend said she didn’t want to pay for it and Miranda said it was too late and she didn’t want to pay for it. We know that she is able to comp it and would not budge. When I ordered a Guinness drought(how I like to call it) she laughed at me and said you mean draft. I said yes I call it drought and she’s like it’s just a fancy way of saying it. I DONTCARETHATSWHAT I SAY! I took offense to that because I am a Spanish speaker and I felt like she was so rude!!! Why does she work here? She needs to go work somewhere that she is happy ugh

Sorry to say that hooch is definitely a bar that you can skip in your bar hopping trip through downtown Orlando. The DJ plays music well over 5 years old. I had a bad experience with the bartender, Miranda. I ordered a special but decided against that choice and asked her if I could get a vodka and cranberry instead. She denied my request by stating, «I’m not going to pay for it so I don’t know what you want to do.» I hadn’t drunk the drink, I didn’t even touch it and she would not pour a new one. On top of that she thought it was appropriate for me to pay for the drink that was NOT drunk AND the new drink. Ridiculous. All in all Hooch is exactly like it sounds. «Hooch“ie Mama. A bar that is not worth the free entry and sticky table tops.

This place is an absolute mess. Service is horrible. I walked in with 3 friends and immediately the bartender MIRANDA(short dirty blonde), was pushy for us to order drinks. She said the specials so quick(with loud music in the background) and did not even introduce herself. Once we ordered, one of us had a change of mine, she refused to change the drink. Even stating, «I can change the drink, but I’m not paying for the one you ordered.» Ridiculous, the only thing she did correctly was take our money as fast as possible. Didn’t even say thank you.

They will treat you like crap and destroy your clothing, shirt was ripped by a bouncer with an attitude problem. Left with a $ 50 gift card but will never go back to redeem it.

I came here every time I was in downtown Orlando. Why? Because it was one of the most packed bars in downtown Orlando with a lot of hot, young women, that’s why. One room has two walls open to the outside which makes it airy, yes airy. The huge steampunk fan monstrosities on the ceiling keep you cool, but one night it was freezing. I’m just going to say this. The open air room has a more coed crowd whereas the room next door is more, well, I don’t know, a rap crowd, a rather interestingly different demographic. Can’t we all just get along? Well, apparently in the shared restrooms here you can. I actually jumped between the rooms. There wasn’t much of a dance area in the open air room. Outside, they turn this alley into an enclosed beer garden thing on weekends which is really cool. You can walk around with your drink outside in this alley. Both Friday and Saturday night it was packed, but it was also spring break a few weeks ago. The Yuengling was cheap, like $ 3.50. I literally drank 42 glasses/bottles of Yuengling the week I was in Florida in addition to other stuff. I’m not sure Floridians know this, but it’s the oldest brewery in America, from Pennsylvania, but they have a brewery in Florida, and I was surprised almost every single bar in Florida had Yuengling. It’s a darker, maltier lager. One of my favorite. As packed as it was, the bartenders here were pretty prompt and cool.

Out of town visitor tried Hooch last night to watch some Sweet 16 games and catch some dinner. Had the pork nachos and they were wonderful. Pork was nice and tender and the chips were top notch along with plenty of toppings. The beers I ordered were very cold and super tasty. I really liked the effect with the«garage doors» open and the open effect. Feels really spread out but you can see everything. The staff were all super friendly and nice. Even talked to a couple of the kids in the place and they were all very friendly. Also had Wi-Fi which is always great. Would definitely recommend this place for a game day situation for sure.

I have worked in the service industry for years and I must say, I have never met such great bartenders. The manager, Chris, never stops moving. He constantly checks on everyone and notices every little thing-always making sure everyone is happy. He has a great staff including Brian and Nathan. My bar of choice in orlando is hooch, hands down. Thank you Chris for running such a great bar. You know what you are doing! –Taylor(and Brittany)

Bartenders lie, told me $ 3 for bud light … Gave him $ 5… Tipped himself and never gave me change… If I knew about their ‘famous’ apple pie bullshit, I would have got that but their idea of a special is not mine. I’ll never be back. Maybe others have had better experience, but at their core… Scam artists. Don’t trust them.

This is a really fun spot on game day. Wall Street gets closed off and it sort of a little outdoor party between the bars. Typically I wouldn’t be a fan of a packed bar where I felt old but theres a good mix of people of varying ages here. I’ve seen the college-aged crowd that is annoying, people in jeans, people in tiny dresses, suits, a few Marines in dress blues and everything else in between. For as many people that usually come to this Wall Street location they keep pretty spread out so it doesn’t seem crammed. There’s typically an outdoor bar or two, usually bands on the weekends, and servers that come out to the tables. It never seems to cluttered. I half expected to get drinks that were 99% soda and a half ounce of liquor at a place like this but the few times that I’ve been here I’ve always had great drinks, good pours and definitely more on the stiff side. Bartenders have always been friendly and I’ve heard the food is great. This has now become our spot to stop in when walking around downtown. I remember back home in North Dakota all that really took place on Sunday were churchgoers, open houses and grocery store trips. It’s nice to see Hooch and Wall Street have parties on Sundays. Makes the weekend feel longer. Worth going for sure.

Great place to chill, used t be called the Globe I believe next to formally Slingapores. Came here on a Sat morning when UCF was playing in Ireland. The real reason was other places were too packed. This placed got packed to but I got a seat and was able to order breakfast and had some mimosas. The food was pretty damn good. Only down side was limited staffing but she did a great job serving IDK maybe 100 people.

I’ve been to Hooch a number of times, usually for their amazing apple pie moonshine. Hooch has already made a name for itself in the overcrowded Orlando night life scene. For those of you looking for places to visit where the locals are, this is the spot! What really amazed me and inspired me to leave a review… THEFOOD. I was completely unaware of the fact that Hooch served food, so imagine my delight! I watched delicious looking plates pass by so I finally ordered a dish. I got the crab cakes, which were $ 10. ANDTHEYWERETHEBESTCRABCAKESEVER. The crab cakes were on top of a buttery toast topped with avocado, fresh greens and some kind of creamy sauce. I couldn’t get over how buttery and flaky and amazing it was. There were other amazing options and I can’t wait to come back and try the rest. This place is definitely more of a casual hang out spot, I love the laid back atmosphere, but the food here just really impressed me.

This is the type of food you should only be eating if you are a) drunk, b) in college or c) both. I, however, am/was not, any of these things on my visit to Hooch. Not sure why my coworker decided to plop down here with all the other options in the area. He was wooed in with the football no doubt, however, this was undeniably one of the most underwhelming dining experiences of my life. Ew. I had the worst burger ever. My coworker had tater-tot nachos. Is this a Florida thing? Gross. Service was slow. And this place had a very, very strange odor to it. Like people throw-up on the floor or something. Bleh! Not the best Orlando has to offer I’m sure!

Standard bar located in Wall Street Plaza. Stopped in for a few drinks on a Friday Happy Hour. Service was friendly, and the drinks were $ 1 off drafts… not the best HH deal to be found, but I’ll take it. Overall a decent bar thats good for a change of scenery, but nothing about it stands out as a must-visit watering hole.

First stop on my Friday evening happy hour tour. Hooch has a great vibe and I love the laid back reggae music playing while we were there. They have pretty decent selection of beers on tap and an awesome apple pie moonshine. We opted to try the moonshine as we heard rave reviews. It is very tasty, and packs quite a punch. You can get it a a a shot or a drink. The«as a drink» price is $ 6. I guess that’s not to terrible for what you get, but a bit pricey for happy hour. All in all a really cool bar with great service and cool atmosphere. #Yelp100

Thoroughly enjoyed their Apple Pie Moonshine. The server was attentitive even thogh the place was slammed. The beer selection was nothing special but the prices were good. You can order food from Waitiki across the street and they’ll bring it to you over here.
