Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa

This is the Hand & Stone I started my membership at. I now live a lot closer to a new one, but I still go to this one! I recently had an amazing massage therapist name Marcia. She gave me the best deep tissue/​hot stone massage I’ve ever had. I’ve had plenty different therapists in the past, even in different parts of the US, and she is hands down the best I’ve come across. Thanks for the amazing experience! Yall will definitely see me back soon.

I just signed up for a monthly membership. My first massage was done by Carlos I had a deep tissue and it was fantastic.

I have been to many salons, but lp nail and spa is by far the best place I have been to. My nail tech Noon did an awesome job on my nails.

I have been to other massage chains, but Hand and Stone (this location especially) has exceeded my expectations! Everyone there — receptionists, massage therapists — is wonderful. Darren is my favorite!

I just wanted to say WOW! Andrea was terrific and I felt great afterwards. Very clean and friendly.

This location is SO awesome! All of the massage and facial rooms are clean as well as tidy. The staff is incredible, all very skilled and very personable. Miguel is the best masseuse I have EVER had and Tara is the best esthetician that has given me a facial. Love this place and would recommend it to anyone! It definitely does feel like a chain and is a very relaxing spa experience.

Beware of continued membership charges to your account AFTER cancellation.
I canceled my membership last August and had a $ 200 charge show up on my account in December. Thankfully, I use alerts so I’m notified immediacy any time a charge is made on my card.
The manager credited my account right away and claimed it was a «systems error». Really? Almost 3 months later a charge just pops up out of the blue?! And not even for the monthly amount?
It’s now January… and a new year. Why am u waking up to yer another charge by this company?! I swear it’s like a gang that I can’t get out of.
I initially thought I might go back to H&S for occasional massages. Not after this. I no longer trust these folks with my credit card information. I’m not buying the «systems error» issue and will be reporting future charges as the fraudulent charges they are to the credit card company.

Michelle is great! Had my first massage here today & signed up for the monthly membership. I previously had a member at another chain & canceled last year as I was displeased with their customer service & treatments. I was hesitant to sign up for a membership here, however my massage was so wonderful I couldn’t resist!

My membership here has been great. For a long time I only had massages by females and then had a massage by Miguel and I’m never going back. The pressure and intensity is just what my muscles need!
Today I had Luis who was definitely very good. He really focused on my knots and getting them out. He didn’t seem to rush and actually listened to what I needed during the quick consult.
The staff does have some turnover but overall it is very nice and they seem to work on improvong.

Great body massage. Terrific treatment by Meagan. She really took to treating my tension areas. It is a straight forward spa. On time, direct service, professional treatment, nothing fancy but a solid product. Well priced and convenient to our location. Definitely great service to be a repeat customer. Easy to schedule an appointment too!

The best thing I could have ever done for myself was getting a membership at Hand & Stone. I’ve been a member for a little over a year and a half and am a very satisfied customer. This particular location, you can’t beat. All of the massage therapists have been amazing. I found a favorite and stuck with her for a year. Since she cut back on hours, I had to find a new regular massage therapist. One of my favorite front desk employees recommended someone for me and she couldn’t have made a better recommendation. I’m hoooked! For anyone thinking about getting a membership, do it! It’s a great way to pamper yourself and de-​stress every month. This location will have my business as long as I live nearby.

I’m fairly new to massages treatments, never liked the idea of someone touching me and I wasn’t impressed with my past experiences. But with my sister’s insistence, she brought me to Hand & Stones and I couldn’t have been happier!
Everyone is very courteous and professional, had no problems with the staff. They listen to your comments and always offer refreshments; it’s a very nice atmosphere there.
The masseuses have all been wonderful as well. I haven’t stuck to someone in particular as everyone has different techniques to make you feel comfortable, so I recommend trying different people to get and finding who you like before settling on one. Every masseuse do have their own schedule so you can get their card and schedule future appointments with them. My mother would recommend Veva, she’s wonderful.
It is on the pricier side and with upgrades as well, but I think it’s worth getting the membership and treating yourself once a month to relive the tension and stress from your body, especially deep tissue and aromatherapy. I’ve been going these last couple months and will continue to in the future.

I love this place! Between the personable front desk service and the fantastic therapists– there is no other franchise like it! You can surly tell they take pride in their work place.

This was part one of my Bday Monthly suprise from the Best Man in the world! My Fiancé. I came here expecting a facial and foot massage but I recieved a FULL BODY STONE MASSAGE! OMG this place was very bright, friendly and clean. I had Lisa who has the healing hands from Christ himself and made my experience that mutch greater! Ive never had a massage where the therapist moves so quickly with replacing the stones and as a Full Figured Beauty I am she hit all the right places with the stones! Each and every crack, dip, and curve she tackled and I felt soooooo comfortable with her. At the end we chatted briefly because they were booked that day but she gave me great recommendations for meditation and sound healing music. The staff were friendly as well and im honored to have been a client of Lisa she really is heaven sent! I cant wait to go back

This place has super customer service. I never post reviews on Unilocal,but my experience was soooooo good that I think it’s important to share.
I called this morning to make an appointment and they were able to schedule me right away. I arrived for my appointment and was shown to a room as I was slightly late and they wanted to make sure I got my full hour.
The person that provided my massage was very nice and curious. When getting a massage I always opt for a hot stone massage. So I know what I am signing up for. Unfortunately the massage was too light. I asked for more pressure but he wasn’t able to provide the service I was looking for.
After the massage at the time of check out I was asked how everything was an I explained that it just wasn’t up to par. They answered my concerns with another immediate massage since I had time. The second massage was one of the best I ever had… and I have had a lot. I was so impressed that signed up for a membership. This is the way business is supposed to be conducted. Professional and respectful! Thank you, Thank you!

I drive over 45 minutes just to come to THIS Hand & Stone because of a massage therapist named, Sandra. I live all the way in Clermont (Google it) and unexpectedly one day I was in Orlando and I wanted a massage. I’m so happy the front desk agent set me up with an massage with Sandra. She is awesome, hands down. I’ve never received a better deep tissue massage like this in my entire life and I had gotten into a car accident a few years ago and she does such a great job at applying the right amount of pressure and is so friendly and courteous.
Sandra and the staff at this particular location have shown me a tremendous amount of amazing hospitality and I will continue to come back here as long as I have my membership.
Definitely recommend. You won’t regret it.

My boyfriend and I came here for the first time, we found the location on google, it’s a bit pricey and honestly not worth the $$, I honestly did not enjoy my hr massage nor did my boyfriend, we asked for an hr massage plus an additional hot stone massage for $ 20 each extra added on to our bill $ 160 total plus tip of $ 20 for each
Total I spend was $ 200 for my boyfriend and myself and I did not enjoy anything! The look of the place is very inviting but the quality is very lacking. If I’m paying $ 200 at lease I should of enjoyed it. The massuquse are young and not as experienced as I thought
I specify asked for a firm massage, I felt like I was rubbing myself with lotion over and over again not triggering any pressure points. I left feeling very unsatisfied and ripped off. This is one location I would not be attending nor advising anyone to attend.

Monday night after a long day I called and booked an appointment. It was 6:00 pm and lucky me, they had an opening for 7:30 pm. It was perfect.
After getting off the phone I smiled, took a deep breath, and prepared myself to go.
I was excited. It had been around three months since my last massage. My muscles were ready.

After Allison brought me my glass of white wine (Barefoot Pinot Grigio), a clip board (with a form to fill out), and information on becoming a member, she captured my attention with her warmth and wealth of information regarding Florida, the beaches, and becoming a member.
We made a connection and that’s what most people miss when they are in the business of serving others. It’s not about what you can sell me, or how good your products are, it’s about connection.
She made herself available to connect. She gets it, and that left an impression on me.
The atmosphere was relaxing, soothing, calm, and peaceful. Exactly what a spa should feel like. The energy was inviting and warm in the front waiting area. If this is what I got on the outside (I thought), I could only imagine what was to come on the inside.
My masseur, Marquis, was gentle. His demeanor was gentle. His application was firm, aware, precise. He knew exactly what he was doing. My body felt very relaxed, comforted, loosened, and for a brief moment, I was lulled to sleep. My expectation was met. When I get up from a massage table I expect to feel like I’m gliding on air. I expect to feel different (in a pleasant way) from when I first came in. I expect to feel pampered and handled with care. I got it all and was satisfied.
What I didn’t care for was the hot towel he applied on my back after massaging my back. It was nice and felt good immediately however, it got colder as he massaged my legs and feet and felt, eh, counteractive.
The music could have been a bit quieter, maybe a volume level or two lower. As I was floating off into a state of rest all I heard was the loud rhythms coming from the speaker in the ceiling.
The prices are comparable for these types of services but membership prices are amazingly cheaper and affordable. If self-​care is important to you, in this manner, I would recommend inquiring about their membership and if you join remember to mention you heard it from me. :-)
