Hampton Bay Homes Inc.

I paid Continental Homes and Interiors to build my home.
Based on information form the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation showed the builder at one point moved his license to a new company
Hampton Bay Homes. Please check with the Florida DBPR to see any updates or changes.
Continental homes and Interiors apparently FORGOT to put STEEL and CONCRETE in many walls around door and windows as permuted and shown on the drawings. We are in the middle of getting costs up for the repairs. MAJOR !!
Also Forgetting or ignoring EXPANSION JOINTS and MANY MANY other items were done incorrectly as specified by our ENGINEER based upon codes and the Permitted drawings with were not All followed.
Continental homes and Interiors (Continental INC.) billed us us both names. And they hired some UNLICENSED contractors the STATE of FLORIDA Dept of Business and Professional Regulation has given cease and desist orders to a couple of their UN-​Licensed subs. He also used an unlicensed Electrician. — WOW !
Poor relationship during building as builder did many things and changed the drawing WITHOUT — Owners approval. Then Builder did change orders against our will — or totally without even telling us. And Change orders were REQUIRED in the contract.
HAMPTON BAY HOMES — (at the original time of writing this review — the same builder showed his license was ALSO with this NEW Named company — - — «Hampton Bay Homes» and was using PHOTOS of my personal home (With OUT my personal permission) on their NEW web site– trying to make it look as if they did a good job. Shameful !

Some of the same people (builder) that built our home under the name CONTINENTAL HOMES and Interiors (Continental INC) are now associated with Hampton Bay Homes
as shown by the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation.
Continental Homes A/​k/​A/​Clark Corporation, A/​K/​A Elegant Homes and Continental Custom homes and Interiors are some of the names Builder of CONTINENTAL has gone by. Continental INC. built our home under the name Continental Homes and Interiors and used some unlicensed subs, one being an unlicensed Electrician — which the STATE of FLORIDA gave the unlicensed subs a CEASE and DESIST.
Continental Inc. /​Continental homes and Interiors used in our opinion VERY POOR
supervision. Leaving OUT concrete and steel for Structural support and as required by the Architectural drawings /​permitted plans.
Left us with porch ceiling that leak, cracked walls, cracked floors, ELECTRICAL breakers that trip, a sunken driveway. They refused to come back and fix all punch items. Now they have our home on their website… that takes nerve — especially if they Don’t want the PUBLIC to know of their history and poor work at our new home.
The same references on their Hampton Bay Homes website are some of the same references that were on the Continental Homes and Interiors website. And Hampton Bay Homes us using my personal home on their web site — even though i had NO agreement NOR contract with Hampton Bay Homes
Currently State of Florida shows same Builder has his contractors license with «Continental Custom Homes and Interiors and Hampton Bay Homes Inc.
I would NOT recommend them to anyone.
