Hammerheads Beer & Wine Bar

Do not get taken in by this place. We bought a Groupon and took another couple to this place. Got there about 5:00, it wasn’t open. Looked through the windows and saw a bar with two tables by the window. The tables had a lot of paper and stuff on them, spilling onto the floor. We hung around about 15 minutes, waiting to see if they opened. Tried calling the phone, got an answering machine. We went next door to Hooters, came out about 6:30, still no one there. Assumed they were closed. No posters, open/​closed signs, or any sign of life. There is money down the drain. Very sorry we invested the money.

Its cheap! That’s about it! The attendant played some really weird ghetto music the whole time, not attractive and for the price i’d rather get fast food for more condiments and a more peaceful and not crazy weird experience…

The service was friendly but we couldn’t get over the german roaches crawling all over the bar and into our food basket… ewe.

Came here on a Wednesday night and it was pretty dead. The service was good, but they ran out of things. I first ordered mozzarella sticks and no marinara sauce. It’s like ordering wings with no blue cheese.
Then the place is called hammerheads beer and wine, but they ran out of red wine! Why is it on the sign but you don’t have any wine?
But I will say the service was amazing. Which is why I gave them a good review despite all the problems they have. Chel is very fun and caring about how to please a customer.

I’d love to give this place 5 stars, I really would.
Great Unilocal deal. Great people working there. Really interesting patrons. Gay-​friendly. Just plain friendly. Cozy and intimate.
The beers were of good taste and selection, not that I know anything about what makes a beer particularly good. Tastes ok and gets you drunk? That’s a good beer.
The bad thing that revokes that star was the food. Really, don’t bother. Eat somewhere else and come here for a few beers and a few laughs.

A small place with a good vibe ! They have over 100 beers and great craft selections. They have live entertainment, karaōke, trivia and even dirty bingo ! The bartenders are always friendly and helpful. A good spot if you are tired of the tourists traps in Orlando !

Odd little strip mall place but what a 4 star beer selection, including rotating microbrew taps and truly extensive selection in bottles. Who woulda thought? Great happy hour prices. It’s all about the beer ya’ll!

Hole in the wall for locals with some small craft beers and nice seating. Place has frequently changed owners over the years. Not a dive bar. Bit nicer feel than a dive bar. On the smaller side this place may get lost with the bigger
Bar options nearby but if you want a quieter atmosphere, good beer and wine. Try this place.

Great beers on tap which was an unexpected surprise. Not just the usuals you find in a bar and grill. The food was great. A step above regular bar food for sure. Have the beach balls. Everyone was really nice and as a single woman traveling on my own, I was comfortable and felt really welcome.

This place is first and foremost a bar, they have a nice extensive list of beer, the service there is great; nice friendly and chill. I deduct one star because they lack high-​end beers and the staff seem relatively new and not very knowledgeable of the beer selection and tastes, however the prices are very attractive and they have various promotions that make it even sweeter.

Members! Being a New Englander, Hammerheads is reminiscent of the college
town bars I used to go to back home and I honestly never thought I would find
something like it down here but, I enjoy Hammerheads very much so!
The best part about Hammerheads isn’t the location/​menu/​or atmosphere, the
best part is the staff. The Beer selection is impressive and the staff is knowledgable
in being able to recommend something tailored to your taste. This place is co-​owned by a few of the bartenders and depending on who is on for the night affects the vibe of the entire night, Linda
plays awesome music, another guy will show you funny youtube videos, it’s as
if each time I’ve been in has been a truly unique experience. The staff even remebered me
after my first time visiting!

A small but comfortable beer and wine bar located near Disney. List of beers and wine is extensive (3 types of Woodchuck cider alone) and the food lives up to their gourmet pub food reputation. We were there for Trivia Night (held every Friday at 8PM) and the entire bar was rocking. Waitress was a gem, service was quick, and fun was had by all. Only drawback — two of our group ordered coffee and there was no milk or cream to be found in the whole place. The waitress helpfully brought out ice cream mix which sweetened and lightened the coffee just fine.

I stopped in at Hammerheads to meet my son and a friend, thinking we would grab a bite to eat. Unfortunately, the menu at Hammerheads is very limited and almost exclusively consists of fried food — not what we were looking for. The staff is very nice but unless one’s sole purpose is to go out and grab a beer, there are better options, in my opinion.

Fun bar! Lots of different kinds of beers! Only place in Orlando to get ranch wings! Always a great time!

Many great beers at a decent price. Most places overcharge for their craft beers. This place charges 3 – 5 dollars a beer. They have karaōke and trivia on certain nights.
