Our Restaurant is Family owned and operated. Anand and Nanda Dwarkanauth are the executive chefs. Combined they have more than 50 years of cooking experience.
The family has been in the food business for over 20 years.

Business Owner
We took a start of our business from catering. We were living in Guyana till 2002 and then, we migrated to U.S. Our chef Anand used to cook and cater in public events and family occasions back in Guyana.
After migration, we worked in one of the famous restaurants in the world where we learn a lot about American culture and taste, and, basics of operating a restaurant successfully in a state like U.S.
After few years, we took our next step and started a catering business of our own which turned out to be a big success for us. We catered for different events whether big or small. Our catering service covered a wide range of food from West Indian to East Indian dishes and American dishes as well. We received huge appreciation from our customers; they loved the food we catered them and they always used to ask where our restaurant is. All this love and positive response gave us enough confidence and compelled us to open GT Roti & Curry.
