I absolutely love this place! I order at least once a week & it never disappoints. Seriously one of the best, most authentic Mexican restaurants I’ve found so far. Even their tacos are made to order & for under $ 2. you can’t beat it. Everyone I’ve suggested this place to are addicted. Only negative thing is the seating is limited & they’re usually pretty busy so calling in is probably your best choice if you’re just wanting to pick up & go. I would love to see this place expand to a full size restaurant in the near future so I can bring my family there to eat.

First time here and love it! I got two Al pastor tacos and two chorizo for $ 7! Great food, great prices and five mins from my house. An added bonus was polite staff that spoke English. The cashier was the only one I had a language barrier with, but hey, it’s an authentic Mexican taco place and grocer. The al pastor wasn’t as authentic as I’ve had in Mexico but it was close. This place was cleaner and nicer than many of the other Mexican grocers and taquerias in Orlando. Hope it stays!

Good hole-in-the-wall place for authentic mexican food. Not a pretty place. Basically a medium grocery store with a lot of tables at the front. Always packed with mexican patrons during breakfast and lunch. Food is authentic, not the over seasoned crap that most people are used to in tex-mex places. Favorite things here are the prepared tacos, and the breakfast platters.

Caution, this is real MX food. It’s not TexMex, it’s not Americanized mush MX, it is traditional MX food so order something traditional. I suggest one of their daily specials or any of the tacos. The burrito is not a good representation of this restaurant’s abilities(see above). Also, the place is not the prettiest but it doesn’t have to be because the food is just that good. Drink a cerveza con michelada(or the horchata) and enjoy.

The food was bland and the burrito hardly had any meat. The meat was very fatty. And the restaurant itself sort of reminded me of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre, odd and creepy. A very dingy place. This was back in January.

I ordered a carnitas burrito to go, when I got home to eat it, there was maybe two small chunks of meat, the rest was all fat!!! I mean, really now? Yes, really. Each bite was a hunk of pork fat or connective tissue. I gave 99% of it to my dog because it was disgusting. He loved it, great place to order if you like no meat and all fat on your food or want to buy your dog some lunch.

It would be so easy to copy what Joey S. wrote about this place. I love finding good hole in the wall joints, and this place did not dis… I can’t type that. I like this place. I’ve driven past it about a million times, but never stopped in until I read the Unilocal*reviews. Don’t make the same mistake, give it a try. They’re open for breakfast, lunch. and dinner. Most of the people who work there speak English, and they’re very friendly. And fast. Just look at the pictures. Where else can you get a great lunch for under $ 5.00? There are many items on the menu, but so far I have only tried the delicious tacos… Oh, they are a grocería and carnicería(meat market) too. You can pick up all your Mexican foods here.

This is a good stop for tacos and real Mexican food. It is a combination Grocery store/Taqueria. They have table seating inside and you can also get things to go. I tried some tacos and they were very tasty. Service was quick and personable.

Incredible tacos. This place is half Mexican grocery, half taquería. We accidentally ended up in a similar-looking place one plaza east, but that’s only a Mexican bakery/grocery store where every baked good smelled delicious. Not sure if they’re the same owners but they kindly directed us across the parking lot to the taco shop. Tacos are $ 1.50 at Grocery Los Hermanos, a more than fair price for the quality. Two pollo and two asada tacos later, I’m seriously thinking this is the best place to get tacos in Orlando. I never want to go to Gringos again. The white meat chicken might have been the leanest I’ve had anywhere, with a balanced amount of seasoning. The asada was good and flavorful, not dry, but a little grizzly. I liked the lean chicken better. Double corn tortillas, cilantro, and onion rounded out the tacos. No other option is given. Non-authentic places call this the ‘street taco’ but take solace knowing this place is so legit, it’s just called a ‘taco’ here. The menu is surprisingly long — lots of different traditional dishes are available but I had my sights set on the holy grail of tacos. They also have a hot sauce bar that I totally forgot about because I was in taco heaven as soon as I took the first bite. The plate of tacos came with lime slices and a small cup of salsa verde. The World Cup was on a 42″ LED in the corner, soft traditional Mexican folk music was playing from the back of the store, and other patrons were enjoying their food. Service was great and if you don’t speak Spanish, don’t let it stop you from coming here. The staff is bilingual(I’ve read condemning reviews of other under-the-radar taquerías for rude staff not speaking English, but you won’t find that here).
