Four Points by Sheraton Orlando Studio City

Once upon a time this hotel was in all its glory. Not anymore though. It’s pretty outdated with old elevators that have malfunctioning buttons. Our room was pretty spacious but no refrigerator or microwave, we asked to transfer to another room that had these, but we were told they were booked. So that sucked. No means a resort so the resort fee is pretty outrageous if you ask me. It’s comfortable and clean, a good place to stay if you’re going to Universal but not if you’re looking to spend time in the actual hotel. Staff was nice.

Got in at 3pm room not ready. Day 2 return to room at 4:30pm room not cleaned. So far the worst Sheraton experience ever.

I spent two nights here. The location on international drive is a good spot. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would recommend it for people wanting to stay on that side of town. It was quite enough that I was able to work without interruptions for both days. I would stay again.

Checked in and had to be switched to another room due to unsanitary conditions, bad odor and the floor of the bathroom was all we. Checked into my second room, at around 12am I decided to close the shade, I mistakenly walked over to the window with no shoes on and the rug near the window was soaked! I lifted up the covers of the bed to lay down and noticed hair on the bed as if it were never changed. To top it off, I noticed bugs by my laptop. It was the most disgusting room I’ve ever stayed. I will not stay here again. Manager was nice enough to give me my money back. Checked out.

Here is a little overview of my stay. It is a nice hotel but NOT worth the price. I’m usually against writing reviews on places but I just wanted to inform others of some things to be cautious about. I visited this hotel the weekend of January 29^th 2016 and was not too thrilled about it. To start off, we had a miscommunication on the front desks part when reserving the room, but Ruby the manager was more than helpful to take care of the problem, which I’m very grateful for. When we finally got up to our room, the ac was off and there was a musty smell. I turned on the unit and that took care of that problem after about 30 minutes of air circulating. After a long day I wanted to jump in the shower but and as soon as we opened the door to the bathroom we noticed the outdated disco floor looking tile complimented by the rust stained onto the walls of the shower. Another thing was the towel I first grabbed had something on it that was not from us. After, I went over to the sink and noticed how stained and yellowed the tile grout was on the counter tops as the grout on the floor was just as bad. To add to the yellowing of the place, the light switches and power outlets looked like they were 20 years old. Yes I understand that may be an odd thing to replace but when EVERYTHING else in the bathroom is white, it makes it stand out and look gross. Lastly the carpet looked like it was from the 80’s out of a mobile home and you could hear everything that happened outside the door while you were sleeping. While I have stayed at another Sheraton hotel in Orlando and very much enjoyed it, I was not happy with this stay. To sum it up, I would highly recommend for the price (160 $ for a single night) that others stay at embassy suites right down International Dr. or the doubletree on Kirkman next to TGI Fridays where I have stayed before for the same price and it was a whole lot nicer, which if it were not a last minute trip, I would’ve stayed this time. I would not stay at this location again.

Property offers free shuttle service and there’s a mini golf course with gator feedings sharing the properties parking lot. There’s a room with heating/​air conditioning and a shower. The rooms are a bit dated as is the lobby. The elevators run pretty slow. Definitely experienced better but it served its purpose while in town.

Room keys would have to be changed every single day. Besides that, room service, interior and other amenities were fine.

This is a great hotel if you are staying for a night or two. Definitely not a resort. We stayed here to go to Universal Studios and it worked just fine. They say they have a shuttle for the park, and they do but it is not as convenient as other shuttle services I have used for a hotel. They only have certain times, maybe once every 1 – 3 hours and we were never able to get on one. Not a huge deal, we used Über and it was $ 6 – 8 each way.
The main reason for my 5 star is the staff. Our car died and all of the employees at the front desk were at attention trying to help us solve the issue. I cannot remember the names of the employees or else I would put them on here but seriously you guys are great! We ended up needing to get AAA to come and jump the car and while we waited one of the people at the desk gave us drink tokens for their bar. Thanks for making our crappy night way better!

Stayed here for my Universal Orlando trip for the New Year. Only good thing is that its couple miles close to Universal (if that’s were you are going)
dislike the rooms, very noisy as the room walls are compacted together. Parking was almost always full in the evenings, had to drive around the parking like 4 times. When I checked in to the room that I ordered it was not cleaned, called front desk and they promptly got me another room. No complimentary Breakfast. Staff was good and pleasant. Overall experience here was below average, wont return.

My fiancé gave me a birthday surprise trip to Universal Studios!!! Very happy and excited!!! So after receiving confirmation of early check in at 10AM we arrived at the hotel at 11AM and was told our room was not ready and wont be till about 3 they will call us when ready.
So we decided to go to Universal, why waste the day? Had awesome time there got back to hotel at 2AM walked into the room and was horrified. The carpet wasn’t even vacuumed, food on the floor! only 1 light in the room worked the other 3 did not. The beds where made but very sloppy, the TV did not work and the filth on the windows, window shade & sill nothing I have ever seen before.
I picked up the phone with a wash cloth it had layers of dust & grime on the handle and the inside earpiece and where you speak into had brown goo on it. Anyway i had call the front desk to tell them how filthy it was to be met with a nasty tone and told to describe what filthy meant? At 2 am i was not going to deal with it so i hung up and prayed I would get a more customer service orientated person in the morning. I think I am thankful I did, they immediately apologized and issued us another room.
The room was vacuumed and wiped down and the TV worked but I cannot have any feathers due to asthma, as they where aware they changed the bedding for me but unfortunately the room stunk of cigarettes. I do not know how this hotel is still standing. The showers are broken (both bathrooms) no hot water, water stop during shower and you would get 1 blast of scalding hot enough for you to jump and yell out, the electrical outlets well the one not protruding from the wall did not hold onto anything you need to plug in. I will never stay there, its a health hazard! If it doesnt burn down because of faulty electrical work it will be shut down by health inspectors! So disappointed!

I stayed in the Four Points last night for the first time. It was outdated and due for an update, but it was very clean and the staff was very organized and pleasant.
The best part is– this hotel is in walking distance of Universal.

I stayed 2 nights for a trip to Universal Studios with my nephew and sister. We live in Tampa, so a trip to Orlando doesn’t require luxury accommodations or spending too much. I thought the Four Points would be a perfect fit, since I found a great deal on

Unfortunately this wasn’t even a case of «you get what you pay for». I got less than I paid for!
In a nutshell:
–The room was nice; carpet was dirty but the beds and furniture were nice and clean.
However, we found mold spores on the ceiling, the drain in the shower barely worked and the a/​c smelled awful.
–The shuttle to Universal leaves bright and early in the morning, but the earliest return is 4pm! A big problem given my next point.
–Despite it being a nicer hotel, the couple next door found it to be the perfect venue for fighting from 3−6am BOTH nights. I called the front desk and was told security would come up, but I never heard an interruption in their BS.
My nephew ended up getting 5 hours of sleep, which is not great for a 7yr old already battling a recently broken arm. (The trip was for his birthday, so nothing could keep him from WWHP!)
Needless to say, he was pooped by 1pm and that is when we found out about the shuttle times. We ended up paying for a taxi rather than forcing him to stay another 3 hours.
I did try to speak with a manager upon check out, but only got as far as the noisy neighbors. Once I saw her only concern was to offer a free breakfast and keep me moving, I knew there was no point in going on.

This hotel is conveniently located and clean. For the price point, I can’t ask for much more. That said, the hotel looks like it was once VERY nice. It’s still pretty nice, just in need of a bit of an upgrade. The staff were all incredibly friendly and outgoing. Don’t let the reviews on this hotel deter you from giving it a chance. My SO and I enjoyed our stay here, and the view from up high was pretty cool. The hotel was pretty unique.

Rooms were clean and service was good. Bathroom smelled a little musty but overall I was happy with my stay.

Pros: This is a great hotel for location but it is an older hotel and need some TLC. Our hotel room had a microwave and a fridge which was nice and we had a great view of the city. The staff was nice.
Cons: We stayed on the 11^th floor and once he got off the elevators the hallways had an odor. The room was clean but I was expecting a better bed. The beds are not up to par the standard beds of other Sheraton Hotels.

Sorry! Looks like it used to be a clean nice place but the smell of mildew hit you in the face as soon as you walk in. Elevators don’t work unless you have a room key. I see what they are trying to do but really inconvenient. Easier getting into the White House vs your own room. Imagine having cooler, bags etc with the kids & the fumbling around for the room key just to get to your floor. If you don’t find it on

We didn’t leave on The 1^st night was because of a soccer tournament and all my sons team members stayed at the hotel. The pool bartender was great. He just moved from Egypt and was extremely pleasant. Other staff members were also fine. Close to everything so it wasn’t all bad but needs a remake yesterday. That smell of mold is still on my mind. Wouldn’t stay again. Sorry

This hotel is showing its age and is due a makeover. I’m not sure if Four Points is supposed to equate to 4 stars, but if so it falls short.
We were here for a girls soccer tournament at Wide World of Sports, the entire team felt as if we overpaid for this hotel.
The mattresses are blown out and uneven.
The shower pressure came and went.
If you find your room is in front of an ice machine, ask for a new room. They are loud and 3 feet from your door.
We conducted an experiment where we asked members to look for boogers on their bathroom walls, most did.

Had a great stay here recently. Location wise, it was perfect! There was a shuttle to Universal and the drive to Disney was only 15 minutes. There were tons of restaurants, a walgreens and a couple shopping outlets around too.
The staff were all very nice and accommodating. I checked in and out very quickly. Our room was very clean, aside from a couple stains I spotted in the rug, but that wasn’t a big deal. Bathroom was clean and stocked with tons of towels. After unloading our luggage, the first thing we did was hop in the HEATED pool! It was great, my boyfriend and I had the whole pool to ourselves since it was January. We stayed in there for a while, and it was just super peaceful. Surprising because the hotel’s on such a busy road.
They have a cool green program, where you get 5 dollar credit for each night you don’t use their room cleaning service. The credit can be combined together and used at their pool bar or restaurant. I did get a chance to order room service for breakfast, and it was just your average eggs, sausage, home fries breakfast. I don’t expect much from room service food anyways.
All in all, we had a nice stay and we’d come back again.

This place is horrible! The only good thing is the location to Universal. Our beds would tilt if my husband and I were on the bed together (and we are not big people), the
Hotel was dirty, the rugs are coming apart, we had NO HOT WATER! It’s 40 degrees at night and there’s no hot water?! We told the front desk 3 times! They sent someone once who said they would come back and they never did! Every time we told them, they said they would send someone and no one would show. Breakfast was also horrible! Horrible property, horrible customer service, and horrible management! Stay at the Motel 6 next door… it’s probably better!

We stayed here for 5 nights on our honeymoon in August 2010. The room we had was extremely spacious and the bathroom was HUGE. I was in love with the giant vanity to house all of my makeup, hair products, etc. We asked for a mini-​fridge so we could have cold water and beer in our room, and they brought it up within minutes and didn’t charge us for it!
We booked through Hotwire, and I couldn’t have been more pleased with the whole experience. Our room had a great view of the roller coasters at Universal.
There is an iHop next door that we had a great experience with one day and a negative one the next day– but still, it was cheap and convenient for a quick breakfast before hitting the parks!
We were able to walk to Universal from the hotel (it took about 15 minutes) without a hassle. We took a cab ride back and it was fairly cheap. We also used the iTrolley to get around the area (from the hotel to Sea World and Aquatica) and there was a convenient stop right outside the front entrance of this hotel.
I would stay here again. It’s a perfectly clean and reasonably-​priced choice if you’re going to theme parks for a week. If, however, you plan to spend a decent amount of time in the hotel, you probably want to choose somewhere more upscale as this is a bit dated and doesn’t have as many amenities as you’d find at newer hotels.
