My wife & I are on vacation from Denver, CO. We saw this place on Unilocal and decided to try it out. This place is awesome. Great selection of food plus it has a grill for customized stir-fry. The service is very friendly and prompt and the food is delicious and price is only $ 7.99 for lunch. We will be eating here a few more times before we go home.

The food is great it reminds me of home Puerto Rico. But the bathrooms are nasty, and the restaurant can be cleaner. I would more willing to recommend this place if the were better on the cleanliness. Because the food is good.

The pork was amazing! The variety was huge! I would of gave them five stars but the sushi was tangy for an unknown reason and the labels didn’t match some of the dishes. Other than that, the value is unbeatable and food quality surpassed our expectations.

The staff is nice. We had a huge group and they did what they could to get us seated together. The food had a wide variety, from pizza to sushi, stews to hibachi. Everything is pretty tasty, too! One issue is that they do not have a handicap ramp at the exit side. My petite aunt takes care of my ill uncle and she pushes his by herself. She had to figure out a way to lower him off the sidewalk without falling out of his wheelchair.

Not too bad for the price, I expected more latin less chinese & pizza! The food I did eat was pretty good, I like my black beans with sour cream, guess what, no sour cream! No taco shells, no tortillas, no sour cream, I’ll keep searching for a better place, thanks!

Not worth your time or money. Came with my mom & dad and we couldn’t finish one plate of anything. Food was either too dry or too oily Dessert selection couldn’t have been more disappointing. You have jello, pudding, pineapple cake, a pink cake of some sort, & canned peaches. As for ice cream, not even the basic vanilla or chocolate was provided. You can choose from a sherbet of who knows what. The three of us + a lemonade was $ 28. Ugh.

The place was recommended from my cousins friend. NEVER go to a place recommended by a cousins friend. I parked in the shady parking lot next to the bowling alley, locking my car and hoping its there when i get back. I kept an open mind as i walked in to long line to be seated, with crying babies and impatient servers. I was startled as what appeared to be one of the dishwashers told me to close the door behind me and cram in with the others in line. i was curious as to why we closed the door, because the place is run by fans, there doesn’t seem to be AC. Nonetheless i was assured by my cousin that his friend must be some sort of foodie who has a good grasp on worldly cuisines so i was ready for good food. Boy was he wrong, the beef patty tasted like over seasoned beef, and the beans and rice tasted like it had been sitting for days. I tried to taste more of the«variety» of things that were offered but the atmosphere of the place just made me lose my appetite. Far from an actual«Palacio» its more like eating at your Hispanic friends house and being afraid to tell his mom her cooking is terrible.

I’m so sorry but how is this place even open for business? I’m really hoping that I went on an off day because the food was absolutely disgusting and everything tastes bitter and old. Usually I would give places another chance but this place has absolutely no chance for one. People seem to rave about how they offer both Spanish and Chinese food so that’s why they give them good ratings but besides the food being appalling(couldn’t finish anything), that is the exact reason I’m giving it 1 star. Too much stuff going on in terms of what to serve customers that the quality of the food fails horrible. Please if you are the owner and reading this. Focus in specializing in one type of food so that the quality becomes better. It’s too all over the place. Until that happens, I will not be returning to this place anytime soon.

This is my favorite buffet. It has Asian, Spanish, and some American food. The place was packed when I went on a Saturday for lunch with a line out the door. It moves fast though so I wasn’t waiting very long. You know he buffer is good when they put a 2 hour limit on you.

Obviously, I would have rated this place five stars, but there are some cons… I LOVE this restaurant! You can’t do wrong with Latino/American/Chinese buffet– especially this one. I went to this restaurant on Sunday with my family for Father’s Day, and although the restaurant’s appearance is a little bit rundown… Not very clean, either. But the food is great! I love the black bean rice, the chicken gizzard, and the empanadas! Also, I like the lo-mein, and the fried rice! For American fare, there’s some great cheese pizza. The sushi was not as good, however, and the last time that I went here, the grill literally burned a little bit of my hot dog!

If you want Spanish food that tastes like an Asian cooked it and asian food that tastes like a Hispanic cooked it, then here is your eating place in abundance. Who puts lima beans in fried rice? Why are the chicken empanadas bitter? Why is the sushi not sitting on ice? Nothing tastier than warm sushi huh??? I’m amazed that so many people frequent this place constantly when the food is so bad. Just goes to show that some people will eat anything if it’s cheap enough. Ugghhhh!!!

We were there for our vacation. It’s very good then we thought. Many choices of the food! And the service is great! The price is $ 7.99 per person. It’s near the airport and that’s great option if you don’t know where to eat.

I have this saying which originated from eating Korean food, and it goes«With the banchan, you can never go wrong.» Well with this joint, I would have to adapt this saying to «With the oxtail, you can never go wrong.» El Palacio is a joint that has all you can eat Latin and Americanized Chinese food. There’s a dude that supposedly rolls sushi too but these are just like, the cold pre-packaged kind. They can also make you a burger and they have a sort of hibachi where they can cook noodles and veggies. The main attraction here though, in my opinion, would be the oxtail. The oxtails are amazing, floating in oxtail fats, and have the right kind of taste. It goes well with any of their rices. Other items that I eat from the buffet are Latin-style potato salad, pernil, tostones, crispy pork, and yucca. The other items, especially the Americanized Chinese stuff, are a must to avoid for me, as they mostly look weird and probably, no offense, taste like crap. The last time I was there I saw this dude filling up a soup bowl with goats and he was going to town on those. It’s probably good but I don’t eat goats. The only veggies I see in here are the lettuce for salads, and the crap from the Americanized Chinese section. They also have a typical dessert section, with the usual suspects of fruit cocktail, small cakes, rice pudding, jell-o, and fruit slices. This joint can get really crowded during lunch and dinner. One time, the lines to get in are so long, it reminded me of Toy Story Midway Mania. It’s that popular! They also serve liquors and beers. It’s funny, they have this shelf behind the cashier with liquors and they have like Cuban rum, patron, and even Chivas Regal! I suggest this place to anyone who likes oxtails and goats. The interior might look bad, and it can be argued that it is somewhat nastified, but the food is good, and I would be returning again and again.

What would you like to hear, the cons or pros first? Let’s go with the cons, the place looks a little run down and that makes it look like it needs attention in the cleaning department as well… For those who expect high quality very clean atmosphere, this will bother you and affected my rating… Also the taste is very important and though, being of Latin culture this does not meet my expectations, for the price, I found it, very affordable and meeting fairly an above average expectation of what Spanish food should taste like, to me… I find these«open» buffets, that don’t have lids on their items, to be tepid and would love to eat hot food, hot, not tepid which also affected my rating. TIP: at all these open buffets, I stir the food from bottom to top, so I can get it a little warmer serving from the bottom. My all time favorite is «Sancocho», for Cubans is more known like an «Ajiaco» for Americans it’s close to a beef soup but has roots like yucca/cassava and plantains. The pros, about this place, is it has sooooo much to offer, that it’s impossible to not leave at least«satisfied» with finding something you like: Sushi, pizza, ice creams, soups, different rices with beans or gandules, assorted empanadas(stuffed assorted puff pastries), assorted seafood, assorted meats, assorted plantains and other assorted vegetables, assorted deserts and fruits, assorted salads and a couple of «ceviche» items(again NOT the BEST ceviche but passable). You can even find on the buffet, cilantro and lemon wedges, to add to any dish. They also have a Hibachi grill where you can choose your own ingredients and have it cook to your liking… It’s really overwhelming but I first look around and serve myself just a tasteful, to then go back, to get more of what I really liked! As for being crowded, if this is an issue for you, expect peak hours at lunch and dinner time but the up side to that, is the items then are frequently changed, so you know, you’ll get it, a little hotter and fresher. «El Palacio» means«The Palace» living up to their name as being the only biggest assorted«Spanish» buffet food, I know in the area! But with greatness, should come a greater commitment to striving to do better and hopefully they will but they may not see the need, when most craving Spanish food, settle for«The Palace» for it’s great price and great selection!

Great food, great price, just a little skeptical about cleanliness.(Hence 4 instead of 5 stars) This place used to be the Asian buffet, we boycotted the place due to the owners harassment, but when they transferred to be a Latino Asian place, we decided to try it out again. The décor hasn’t changed, has Chinese lettered takes and plates still, the exposed brick still seems unclean, but the food has upgraded. The food seems to run out fast since they only a cook a small portion of each dish, which I. feel is great, so you know the food isn’t sitting out long. They also have special latino drinks, they’re not refillable, but nice to try, just ask the servers about them.

This was the first time I have been to a Latin buffet and boy what a way to get indoctrinated into the experience. The staff was friendly, the food fresh and amazing. You can tell that it’s a good restaurant judging by whether the locals frequent and did they ever. I got in at 11:30 am and was able to get my first serving before the rush of locals entered. It was great everyone was polite and the food kept on being replenished. My favourite dish by far was the beef soup that had cassava, plantains and potatoes which I added some fresh cilantro, green onions and salsa to top it off. Out of this world. Highly recommended stop for any tourists that want good food at a great price.
