Eden Spa Orlando

Two words: SERVICE FAIL. Firstly, their limited appointment times make it nearly impossible for a working professional to get there, being closed on the weekends and only open until 7 three nights a week with the last appointment at 5:30pm. I am a preferred vendor for Florida Hospital and the CEO very kindly gave me a gift card to the spa at the completion of our last project. It is unfortunate to see that the pleasant attitudes and good business practices of the executives do not trickle down to the staff.
I made a 5:30 appointment for a 50 minute massage and rushed from work to get there, getting stuck in traffic and arriving at 5:36. After apologizing for being late, I received a blank stare from the very rude woman manning the desk and she snarkily replied «You made an appointment for an hour massage, well at THIS POINT she can only do a half an hour because you are 15 minutes late.» Me: «No, I am 6 minutes late. My watch and iPhone both say 5:36.» Her: «well OUR clock says almost 5:45 and we go by THIS time.» (ok, REALLY???). Me: «My appointment is actually for a 50 minute massage, not an hour.» Her: «Same thing» (ok, last time I checked an hour was 60 minutes, not 50). Perhaps Eden Spa is in its own time zone that runs 7 minutes ahead of the rest of Orlando and perhaps that’s due to their hour being 10 minutes shorter than ours, but in any case, there were a million more polite ways to handle the situation than the one she chose. Even after explaining that I am a vendor and Lars Houmann personally gave me the gift card which was the reason I was there at all, I was offered nothing but a blank stare. I was flabbergasted that I was treated this way, not just because I’m a vendor but because I’m a NEW CLIENT who’s clearly not coming back after such an awful first experience, gift card or not, and now I’m telling all you nice folks not to go there as well. Find a spa who cares about their clients, this is clearly not one.

I come here often since I work here I have tried mani-​pedi, facials and massage. (I am here now trying hair) I like the spa’s ambiance very relaxing great service. I would say there is great value in the massage their table moves automatically and heats up. I have been to a few massage places and not everybody has that. Facials are awesome I was with Monica. I go at least once a month.
