Dr Jack’s Termite Pest Control & Lawn Care

You did not notify me of lawn care renewal and did an application without my authorization. I have been a pest control customer for 3 years– always prepay a year in advance, never had an issue. Never saw a bug. Tried the lawn care service, it didn’t work, I told the tech I would try it for ONE year and see how it was then decide. I did not receive any notice of renewal. You did the first application for 2^nd year without my auth; now you are demanding $ 54 for something I didn’t approve. The rude Woman that answered your phone basically told me «too bad» You don’t care that i’ve been a pest control customer for 3 years. So with a major attitude this person (Not Kelly– the other one) agreed with me that I would be better off to cancel all my services. So you throw away potentially years of prepaid pest control (hundreds of $$) instead of crediting $ 54 for something I didn’t approve? Not a smart way to conduct business!

I’m being generous with the one star because Unilocal won’t let me give less. Company came out and sprayed a perfectly healthy Zoysia yard with some weed issues and managed to kill 80% of it within 72hr and them blame it on drought damage… in the middle of a week where we got 6 inches of rain. Had two other companies come out and both said yard was damaged but what Dr Jack Kovorkian lawn service sprayed. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!

I have to give them credit, have been using them for about a year, and the lawn looks pretty good. Which surprises the hell out of me. We tried Trugreen, and about three others that never did the job. During those times the yard looked worse then before the service started.
I had dug into the yard and saw some web worms gave a call and they cleared them out. on a special unscheduled trip and they arrived the next day.
The grass is healthier, and green. My neighbors yard was over run by dollar weeds. I can usually take car of them but it takes me touching each one with a dab of roundup. I called the crew and told her i need some defense against the neighbors weeds, they went back there and sprayed a barrier that the dollar weeds couldn’t break through!
They are reasonably priced, good enough that it keeps me from buying chemicals that most of the time does not work. I also had a specific problem and didn’t like the normal guys answer and requested the herbalist he showed up in a day looked over the issue and agreed to what the other guy said. So I followed the directions and the grass was cured.
