Downtown Re-​cycles is dedicated to the restoration of bikes for use and or resale. Our complete overhaul process includes Newly greased bearings, Lubricating chain, Sanding, Painting and Professional automotive clear coating the body leaving a for a protective outer seal shielding away all corrosive elements. Custom paint jobs also available.

Rental and sales is a big part of our business, whether you are looking for a reasonably priced ride or just want to explore downtown on a rental… We have the bike for you!

History

Established in 2011.

My brother and I have lived in Orlando for 30 years and grew up on the streets of this town breakdancing our way into fame. Our efforts led us to drawing strings for our future.

We both enjoyed riding bikes and the restoration of bikes, breaking them down and making them look the way we would want them to look like instead of its stock appearence.

I started to sell several of the bikes we worked on and thought there would be a need for a bicycle revolution in our home town.

The thought of rentals would be something that would need tweaking with time though need and awareness, but our sales had already solidified and taken roots.

The last step would be an outlet for such ventures and thus our location conveniontly located in the neighborhood setting of Eola Heights a short distance from restaurants, bars, my elementary school and the peaceful tree and brick lined residential downtown Orlando streets.
