We really like the place and highly favor living there as soon as possible. The staff and few residents we meet were very friendly, informative, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The location, amenities, are suitable for our needs. More to come should we take up residency here.

Well I have to start off by saying that the building itself is very nice. Painted very well, roof top is amazing, parking area is great, and the amenities that are included here are great… not counting never having to pay for event parking if you don’t mind the walk. The building is great… Downtown is right across the freeway. Lots of great fun in downtown and lots of great places to eat. There is also really nice grocery stores really close by that are not hard to get to, even being in the middle of downtown. The area around the building however is a completely different story. From the balcony I see homeless people 24 hours a day… not that I’m standing there watching them all day or anything… It’s a pretty sad sight. The street parallel to this one is prolly one of the most ghetto streets I’ve seen in most of the US. Yes it’s that bad, if you don’t believe me you can check for yourself… just make sure your not alone, and that it’s day time. However to compensate for the area the building does have a pretty good card key thing going for parking and any entrance. It’s a must have in that area… but I guess if someone wanted to really get in they could find a way.

City View Apartments has an impressive website and it really markets itself well to the hip/yuppie demographic. The multi-colored façade and the retro modern interiors really push this concept far, and the price tag, while expensive, due to the fact that people like to buy into the hype, but not as expensive as similarly hyped locations. The downside here, is that which it’s «city view» from it’s west church street location may be nice, the street view is from west Church street, and backs directly up to where it isn’t as pleasant.
