Blue Tree Resort

Booked this resort via my job. It’s a benefit they offer. Booked for a really good price at the end of August of 2015. It seems this is when all the schools around Orlando go back into session so the price was much cheaper at that time.
Location:
Place is about 5 minutes away in a car from downtown Disney. There is plenty of stores around for market shopping and also plenty of restaurants. We walked to the market and back, no problem. It’s about 20 minutes from the airport and 10 minutes away from Universal. Plenty of Über drivers to pick you up as well.
Actual resort is clean and up to date, nothing too fancy just right.
We stayed in a two bedroom two bath «room» — they are more like apartments. Ours had full washer and dryer in there. It also has dishwater, microwave, refrigerator and electric stove. You have dishes and cooking utensils included. Very nice, there were two immediate pools by our room that had a handful of people the times we went. Not crowded at all. They also offer shuttle service to both Disney world and Universal.

The night we arrived was past midnight, they checked us in quickly and had security drive us to our room. Each time we went in there we were helped and everyone seemed professional and helpful.
I would definitely stay here again.

Resort has a lot of amenities, 1 bedroom was clean, nice kitchen, appliances where adequate. The main concerns were the bed was very cheap and very uncomfortable. We made it through our week stay by taking the hide-​a-​bed mattress and placed that under the full size bed mattress to make the bed a little more comfortable. The A/​C Thermostat was extremely old and the temperature numbers have worn off. I believe we would find a different place when we come to the Lake Buena Vista area next time.

We had a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom with full kitchen and living room. LOVED the suite! the kitchen was fully equipped down to the utensils: even had a food processor. Super comfortable rooms with feathered comforters. Granite, beautiful furniture, flat TVS. Perfect!

The staff here is incredibly efficient and friendly! Our two bedroom condo is roomy and very clean. The resort has four nice pools. The grounds are kept very clean. I highly recommend this place.

We stayed here for a week. Very reasonably priced. We had a nice suite with kitchen, living room, etc. the staff are all super friendly & helpful, and available from 7 am to 11pm. Nice pools, some heated, jacuzzi, mini golf and exercise room. We will definitely stay here again.
One note, it’s not set up like a hotel for daily maid service, but you can have them bring you fresh towels, soap, etc any time.

I’ve sent several emails and make several attempts to get information, steps to resolve this issue throughout the month of October and November and I haven’t received any notification from Blue Tree Management indicating they are working to result my concern. However, Blue Tree was proactive to send the 2015 Maintenance payment stub of $ 576.46 on October 31, 2014 which is due January 1^st 2015. I’ve repeatedly expressed my situation and concern over their tactics to discard my issue and continue to charge fees especially with a pending case to deed the property back.
I’m pleading with government entities to step in to assist a disabled veteran in this matter or please point me in the right direction to resolve my case.

The entire staff at this hotel was excellent from the front desk to the security guards. One of the reviews noted how old the rooms looked. I did notice a few things in our room that looked rusty or old but nothing we couldn’t deal with. I thought it was a pretty nice resort for such a cheap price. The only downfall of the stay was the smell of freshly applied asphalt. The smell actually made me nauseous whenever I walked outside but the front desk was kind enough to move us to a new room. Would stay here again!

A dump! The 1970’s/1980’s are calling!
So much for the reviews I read before picking this place… this place is no more than 2 stars on its best day… I gave it one star to even out the obvious mistake postings made here.
I should have gotten into a MUCH nicer and newer complex at the same price or maybe a little higher but it would have been worth it.
LOTS of kids. Don’t come here for quiet.

Very nice resort. They provide wifi, customer service is great, they provide a variety of activities such as mini golf, game rooms, fitness centers, a market place to buy certain groceries, a grill, pools are located near every building, and they also provide shuttles to and from disney. Definetly 5 stars and would reccommend it to everyone. Way cheaper than going to a hotel resort.

My only complaint is that the free WiFi is pretty awful. When it is working, I can only connect in one corner of the living room. Also, the service drops out constantly, forcing you to reconnect over and over. For example, I had to reconnect three times during the time it took to write this.

My family and I have been coming to Orlando for our yearly vacation for many years. The staff are always really cordial.
The rooms are okay. I think the rooms especially the carpet and the tv could use an upgrade. The kitchen is nice though! And although the washing machine is a bit old at least they have a washing machine in the room.
There’s a giant pool and I usually see people using it.
Nearby there is a Walgreens and a Steak and Shake. There is also a Winn Dixie grocery store, a chinese takeout, papa johns, and a halal place. You definitely need a car to visit further places though.
There are a lot of shuttles that go to cruises, theme parks, malls etc.

We keep coming back to this resort every year

The Blue Tree Resort is a great place to stay. I was welcomed by a friendly staff. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. I believe the kitchenette was the best part. There was never a need for me to eat at a restaurant. The location of the resort was also magnificent! It was ideally minutes away from Disney Word, Universal Studios, and Sea World. This resort is perfect for all types of travelers. All is provided for you. I will for sure be back.

we had a wonderful time the only issue is there is no restaurant on the grounds. there is a small grocery store but I would not really call it that more a vending area… the pools are great my kids loved them they loved the free mini gulf and the even played a bit on the playground. The room we had was wonderful fit us in what we needed. I would defiantly go back it was great for us!

The pictures look great of the pool, but the rooms are something else. I’ve read on other websites that the rooms at this resort have recently been updated, but I can’t really tell. I really liked that they have granite countertops in the kitchenette and there is a washer/​dryer in the unit, but besides that, I wasn’t too impressed. It seems a little neglected and can use some more updates. The term «resort» is used a little too loosely. The carpeting was gross, the unit does not have a clean feel to it (the way I judge it is if I feel comfortable sleeping in the bed) and to advertise that it sleeps four with one queen sized bed and a pull out sofa is misleading.
This resort boasts free shuttle service to Disney, but it was at very restricted times and only to certain parks. We ended up driving to Disney. The wifi was free, but I had better luck connecting poolside than in my unit. Two other guests asked if our wifi was working, because they couldn’t even get service in their units. I booked this resort through a friend’s timeshare, and like I said, the pictures of the pools made it look like a top notch resort, but I would have paid extra to stay in a nicer place.
