Adam’s Art & Bonsai Studio Nursery

Adam is super knowledgeable and a great guy to do business with. I was buying a bonsai as a gift for my boyfriend, and we’re both new to this, and adam was patient with me (i ask a lot of questions), really fun to talk to, and offered to help with the tree once I gifted it to my boyfriend. We have since been in contact a few times by email if I ever have a question… or if my cat chews on the tree, and adam is always helpful and really quick to respond. I really hope he branches out into farmers markets or something bc this guy deserve all the success! Beautiful trees, you can tell this is his passion, he offers classes, and is an all-​around great guy to go to for bonsai purchases or questions. He’s also got some of the best bonsai trays around — and lots of them!

Adam is a really good guy and very trustworthy when it comes to bonsai. He will tell you if he doesn’t know or he will suggest you speak to some one else, rather than try to BS you. Prices are very reasonable and like all bonsai people he might be willing to work a deal with you, so it doesn’t hurt to ask.

If you’ve tried to find a bonsai nursery in Central Florida, much less Orlando, I can relate to your frustration. Adam’s nursery is not only nearby, it’s full of high quality pre and finished bonsai. Adam is very knowledgeable and willing to share tips and information, guiding you in the right direction for a nicely styled tree.

Upon entering Adam’s Art & Bonsai Studio Nursery, I found a wide array of pre-​bonsai and bonsai trees as well as tiki carvings, suiseki, and metal sculptures. It is clear to me that studying the art of bonsai for the past decade has given Adam the ability to grow outstanding specimens and build a nursery of quality pre-​bonsai stock. From Ilex schilling shohin to Swamp Cypress diaza the selection of worthwhile trees is exceptional. Bonsai soil, pottery, and wood carvings are also available.
After talking with Adam during a tour through his nursery, it becomes apparent bonsai is more than a hobby for him. Adam’s knowledge of not only the horticulture but the artistry of bonsai indicates he is a voracious reader of bonsai literature. He brings his wealth of talent and knowledge to the Central Florida Bonsai Club where he currently presides as President. He has done bonsai lectures, styling, and carving demonstrations throughout Central Florida. In June 2012, Adam will be conducting a styling demonstration with Ilex schilling for the Greater Cincinnati Bonsai Club.
