Visited this facility last week. Easy to make an appointment. Dr McCartan was very pleasant, personable, and professional. She gave me a thorough exam and was very informative
through all phases of this exam. The optician who assisted me, Aida, was also very friendly and professional. She was very helpful and «truthful» (lol) information during the process of selecting frames. She gave me a lot of information regarding my vision insurance benefits which made my selections very easy. This facility was recently renovated and is comfortable and welcoming. The associates I encountered during my visit were also very friendly. All in all, this was a great visit. By the way, my glasses were ready in 3 days!!!

Pearle Vision in Orland Park recently gutted & remodeled, looks so chic now. Had the pleasure of having Cathy help me, she couldn’t of been more pleasant & helpful. They have a great choice of frames & options. I’ve always come here for my glasses but it feels like a brand new experience now!

I just went in here a week ago because I was out of my last pair of contacts and needed someone to fit me in that day– they got me in right away and the doctor was awesome. My eyesight is awful, I have a slight astigmatism, and each eye has a different prescription, but she made it easy and gave me some pointers to help my vision overall. They just started matching 1800contacts prices and offered me 50% of glasses if I bought contacts and glasses together, so it was way cheaper than if I would have paid full price. Kathy was awesome and helped me try on a bunch of styles, and when I didn’t fall in love with any, she went in back and literally busted out the perfect pair for me! She was really patient and gave me advice on the best fit and look for me. Glasses and contacts came in exactly a week later and the staff was nothing but friendly every time I interact with them.

The best experience ever. Friendly, professional service. Have been going there for 20 years.

Everyone is friendly and very helpful when choosing which frames to get. I love the frames they helped me choose and am very happy that I took the staff’s opinion on which frames should be for my regular lenses and which should be for my prescription sunglasses. Also, GET THE HIGH DEF LENSES! YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT! I always spend so much money on prescription glasses that I end up not being able to use without getting a headache. Also, I can never see as well with glasses as I do with contacts. I’m always so excited to wear my glasses because I believe I look good with them on… but I’m always disappointed becuase I just can’t see and I get a headache. Not this time! I’ve worn my glasses and sunglasses all day long (even driving around all day and night) and the HD really makes a huge difference! I’m blind as a bat, so the lighter, thinner material is ideal for my strong prescription. The most amazing part about the HD lenses, is that there is no distortion around the edges and I really can see just as well, if not better than I do with my contacts.

Because of insurance I had to bring in a prescription from another Dr. I was filled accurately and quickly. Everyone was extremely helpful especially Chris and Kenya. Kenya did and especially great job of fitting my glasses — making sure that they sat on my head perfectly. Everyone at this location is friendly and knows their job. Thank you all!!!

I have been burned twice now by this place.
1. Had an appt with a requested DR and they switched the DR at the time of arrival for the appt. Ended up going to another optometrist in Orland Park. I had even called to confirm that we were scheduled for that doctor.
2. My 10 yr old son’s glasses had split on the bottom. Instead of simply replacing them and keeping my family’s business, the attendant said «That’s normal», and that Pearle Vision can only cover 50% of the cost of replacement frames (the rest coming out of my pocket).
So…not only do they do a bait and switch with appointments, but they also don’t stand behind their products. 50% replacement coverage for frames that aren’t even 6 months old… are you kidding me?
They’ve lost our business for good, and we have three members of our family in prescription eyewear.

I came into the office and immediately I was helped! Lupe and Kenya are very friendly and make you feel welcomed. I wouldn’t go to any other eye doctor!

Nice enough place. Eye doctor was a very nice lady, friendly and professional. I made an appointment at 11:30am today and they put me in for the last one available at 12:15. I got there early and they started working with me at about 12:30pm. Picked out a cool set of glasses with the help of a very honest worker, cant remember her name but it was like talking to a friend. I would recommend it. Unfortunately my glasses won’t be dont until Tuesday probably earlier but still had a pleasant experience. I also had a groupon but didn’t use it because I saved more with my insurance.
Only down side is that it gets a bit costly with the exam, frames, lenses, various lens features. I got anti glare. I almost felt as though I paid too much for the eye exam but I’ve never really bought glasses without my parents so I probably feel like that because I’m a college grad working in the real world and I have to notice the costs of things with my own money. However, I didn’t feel pressured or pushed into trying to get a certain thing like at some places. The value of things tends to be subjective. All in all nice place to get glasses.

I have been getting my glasses here for years, the Doctors are great and the staff is knowledgable and very helpful.

Just got my new Silhouette glasses and sunglasses and couldn’t be more satisfied. Charlette helped me and Kenya helped my wife and we totally enjoyed the experience and their professionalism. Ron, from Orland Park.

I have been getting my glasses here for more than 8 years now. The Doctors are awesome and the staff is very friendly. The quality of the glasses and service are excellent. They work well with my insurance. My glasses with exam, dilation, pics of my retina, and special services I need for my lenses cost me under $ 150. Everything comes with a one year warranty. My opinion is they are far better than their competition in every way.

Great eye doctor but… The buying classes part is a total scam… they nickel and dime you by trying to slide in things you don’t necessarily want or need. Next thing you know your glasses cost way more than they should.
I would go for my eye exam and take my prescription else where.

The wait was about10 minutes even thought there was like 6 customers, which I found very professional, the optometrist was really friendly and very professional and knowledgeable, I got 2 pars and ended up paying a little over a thousand dollars, however they instructed me on how to provide my insurance so I can get it covered with the customized bill, overall experience was very good, I decently would recommend this place
