Jeffrey LaMorte Salon & Day Spa

I came her for a massage after a recommendation from a friend. I was very satisfied with my experience. I called a week before I wanted to come in and was able to schedule an appointment with no problem. The receptionist was friendly and they also did a reminder call for the appointment.
Upon checking in I was walked back to the spa waiting area. It was very relaxing and comfortable. The massage therapist (Jaqueline) introduced herself, shook my hand, and told me she would be right with me.
Since I have only had 1 massage before I appreciated that she spoke with me to get an understanding on what I wanted/​expected from the massage. I am also a science nerd so I like how she explained the different muscle groups to me. She had on relaxing music as well. I felt very comfortable with her and definitely would recommend. She was very professional as well as the rest of the staff that I encountered.

i received a gift certificate to Jeffery Lamorte for my birthday. I had never been there before so I decided to give it a try. It was a wonderful experience. The stylists were so nice, kept asking if I needed anything like coffee or water. I had 2 – 3 people cutting, styling and perming my hair. Loved it, very nice, knowledgable, and professional staff. Highly recommended.

I have never received so many compliments on my cut and color until I started seeing Shelly! She has absolutely revolutionized my hair! Plus she’s always on time, is an attentive listener, she’s truly the Mercedes-​Benz of the salon! The best or nothing.

I always have the best experience at this salon. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. Milly is the very best. She always has fresh ideas and great styles. Even when I am not sure what to do with my hair, she always has something in mind. I’m soo lucky to have her as my stylist!

This salon is hands down the best one around! I recommend this salon because i never have a problem making an appointment that fits my schedule, and was very pleased with their customer service. I see Gianna and she is fabulous. She did an updo on me for a wedding i was in this summer and i got so many complements. I also find it hard for beauticians to get my blonde just right, but Gianna gets it exactly right every time! The entire staff including the shampoo girls are great. Also the manager keeps the store in tip top shape and always clean!

Went to get my hair cut and dyed last minute. I was seen by Millie who was great. Customer service was wonderful, especially from the stylist. I really appreciated her conversation and most importantly her work. She did a great job fixing some blotchy highlights I previously got elsewhere. Would definitely recommend, you get what you pay for.

Love this place! This was my first visit and it is the first time I can remember where the stylist actually listened to what I wanted and I left more than satisfied. Moriah was AMAZING and really made sure she understood what color and style I wanted. She is now my only go to girl. All the staff are super friendly and the atmosphere is great. Highly recommend this place to everyone!

This review is for Amanda Blaszak, not necessarily the salon itself. I came here because I needed to be fit in right away for a holiday party and she worked wonders with my hair! Recently, I went from dark blonde hoping to go platinum/​white blonde, which most stylists can’t get right because it always turns out with too many gold and yellow tones, but she rocked it, kept it looking somewhat natural (sounds like an oxymoron given the color) and always threads the color in so the grow out doesn’t look ridiculous. I’ve gotten tons of compliments on my hair since going to her. Prices are totally fair and she always tells me what would look best with my features. Will definitely continue going to Amanda and will recommend to my friends as well.

Staff is friendly, but overall not thrilled with the outcome of the services I received.
I had to edit my review because my hair continues to look terrible even after it’s dried and flat ironed. I have to go get my hair redone now somewhere else and get it cut shorter. Will NEVER be back here.

I had some time today before work to try and get my hair trimmed and so I turned to Unilocal to help me find a place where I was located at today.
I called and asked if there was any way that I could get in right away and they said absolutely and to come in! Thrilled because my hair has been lacking a hair cut for almost a year now… but Bianca took care of that for me. She had me washed cut dried AND curled in under 45 minutes and it looked amazing. Um hellooo?! How is that humanly possible? It normally takes me that same amount of time to dry and half curl my hair!
She showed me how to curl my hair in a little over five minutes with a flat iron and they are curls/​waves still now almost 14 hours later.
Prices are average for woman’s hair cut at $ 37 (not including tip) I may have to come back for color when I’m in the area!
Pro-​Tip ladies… do yourselves a HUGE favor and get a wet brush. She combed straight through my dead-​hotmess-​bleach damaged ends effortlessly and pain free.

I had a great experience here last week. I was able to call and make an appt pretty quickly. The staff was really friendly and helpful on explaining the different types of services they provide. When I went in for my massage & facial they were prompt on taking care of me and I left there feeling extremely relaxed & happy! I will be going back!

Absolutely the best salon i’ve been to, and my hair turned out amazing thanks to Bionca my service provider. It took a lot of searching and i have found the perfect salon for my hair, and my hair was a mess to correct. Thank you!!!

Both my husband and I have been going to Jeffrey LaMorte for years and have referred many people there. We are very pleased with everyone, from the reception desk, Delia, to the shampoo girls and of course our stylists Kelly and Colleen. They always go that extra step and make us feel like we are the most important person during our time with them. We have always been very happy with the services we have had there, from cuts to color, perms to makeup for weddings, and spa services.
Our only complaint is the place is looking a bit worn, there is tape on some chairs, a bit tacky considering the prices that are charged. If you want to be considered a topnotch salon which you are then the salon needs to look the part.

Had to have a bit of a color correction done here that I had somewhere else — I had an appointment with Brittnay. She was so cute and sweet and did a great job and kept the price reasonable for me. (PLUS SHE had fabulous hair) and I made the appointment last minute for a Sunday. She is great. In or around the Orland Park area– go see her.

My wife likes this salon but always has issues with the shampoo staff. They don’t wash her hair like premier salons. They care more about gossiping about what they did the night prior. Most times the color isn’t even shampood out. She remains a client because of Constance despite the crew of misfits who man the shampoo sinks

So times are tight – especially for a single mom. I’ve trimmed the fat, so to speak, from our budget and have become a master at stretching the almighty dollar. Still, there is *one* thing that I cannot bring myself to skimp on and that is my cut and color at Jeffrey LaMorte.
After moving from the city I was worried that I wouldn’t find a place in the south ‘burbs that was going to work for me. Yeah, I had a bit of that city snobbery happening, I admit it. My fears were laid to waste once I found Jeffrey LaMorte – and most notably, Kelly. My girl, Kel, has been taking care of me for years. She has seen me through super short, spiky styles to straight-​to-​the-​middle-​of-​my-​back and everything in between. We’ve gone from some pretty intense reds to platinum to multi-​colored panels to beachy blonde highlights without ever ravaging my hair. When I sit down I give her almost free reign and I have never once been disappointed.
I also recommend the spa, though I admit that did take a hit due to my budget crunching ways. The «Body Retreat» is my favorite package and I *highly* recommend the hot stone and deep tissue massages. Bliss. Pure, unadulterated bliss. In any case, the spa is quiet and cozy with no hint of the chatter and music from the salon.
Jeffrey LaMorte is pretty much full on win. I always leave there looking like a million bucks and people are forever asking where I get my hair done. Also, I take my exceedingly trendy (and picky) nine-​year-​old there and when my favorite boy lopped off his longer locks for a shorter style it was nothing short of fantastic. Any spot that can satisfy the three of us (and our diverse styles) is more than worth it. I swear it to be true. :)
