History

Established in 1998.

L.A. Dance has been serving the local community and surrounding areas for more than 14 years, under the direction of Laura Berger. L.A. Dance began with the mission to instill in its students self-​confidence, self-​esteem, and self-​discipline. To provide quality instruction in the performing arts. To teach students not only how to set goals, but how to achieve them. To not only create strong performers, but strong individuals.

Our highly-​trained staff is driven to give students an experience that will last a lifetime. Whether students are recreational or competitive, proper technique is taught in every class. All classes are taught with positive

Meet the Business Owner

Laura B.

Business Owner

Miss Laura has been dancing since the age of three. Growing up, she took classes in Ballet, Tap, and Jazz dance. She started competing at the age of 11 and won many regional and national awards. She has been teaching both recreational and competitive dance for the past seventeen years, fifteen of those years as owner and director of L. A. Dance. Her students have won numerous first place awards and Platinum medals. Some of her past and current students have won titles such as «Miss Petite Dance of Michigan,» «Mr. Petite Dance of Michigan,» «Mr. Teen Dance of Michigan,» and «Miss Dance of Michigan.» They have also gone on to perform in ballet companies, compete and place at the Youth American Grand Prix, study at Blue Lake, Ballet Met, and Interlochen. She has won many Choreography Awards at Regional and National competitions. She is also a judge for the Hall of Fame National Dance Competition, Kid’s Artistic Revue National Dance Competition and Rainbow Dance Competition. She continues
