Dr. Kortright is exceptional in every way. Her dentistry skills are superb but this is just the beginning. She is genuinely engaged in what she is doing, and this creates a powerfully positive working environment for her staff, whom it’s clear that she respects. Dr. Kortright personally does the dental cleaning, and is thorough and gentle. Her judgement regarding the appropriate course of treatment and aftercare is sound, never extreme. And it’s clear that she genuinely cares about the patient. When a specialist is required, she always refers to doctors with a similar level of competence and work ethic.
In addition to my husband and I, Dr. Kortright treats my 92-​year-​old father-​in-​law who has memory and focus issues. Her manner and communication skills make even quite extensive procedures comfortable and calming.
She is also available for emergencies. On more than one occasion it has become necessary for immediate dental care, and Dr. Kortright is always available.
We are part of the majority of Americans with no dental insurance. Dr. Kortright has always been fair and reasonable in her fees for every procedure, from a routine cleaning to the design and installation of a crown.

Dr. Kortright is a talented and capable dentist. What prompts me to write and share my praise is that she is much more than that. She is a caretaker and healer. I took my mother to see her at a friend’s recommendation. My 81 year old mother’s memory has gotten bad which can make her a challenge. Additionally, «no dentist compares» to her son the dentist who can’t treat her because he’s 3000 miles away. Mom’s mouth and oral health had deteriorated badly due to neglect. We made several trips to Dr. Kortright before she could attach a new tooth to an implant. She was incredibly patient and had a lovely manner with mom. She treated her with respect and didn’t talk down to her. Subsequently, we went back for a routine cleaning which was equally successful. Dr. Kortright’s pricing is very fair which is greatly appreciated. Mom finally has a dentist in California! The office could use updating.
