Description

Specialties

Outcall in the East & San Fransisco Bay Area

I offer various forms of massage and bodywork including Esalen, Therapeutic and Swedish styles along with a solid background in European Zen Shiatsu and Thai massage.

I work holistically, applying various modalities in order to facilitate deep relaxation and positive change physiologically, emotionally and psychologically, in order to facilitate well being.

History

Established in 1995.

Having recently moved to the San Francisco Bay area from Carmel, I am available for out call through out the Bay Area. You are also welcome to come to my studio in the Orinda area for a session (CA 94 563)

I worked as a licensed massage therapist in the Monterey Bay area from 1998 to early 2015 and have been in practice as a shiatsu practitioner since 1995. I have traveled and trained extensively between England, Thailand, Japan and California.

Meet the Business Owner

Niklas S.

Business Owner

My approach to bodywork in general is to facilitate the recipient’s innate capacity to heal through deep relaxation — letting go — and thus homoeostasis. A session on the table, or on the futon may include varied soft tissue, rhythmic, rocking techniques to reconnect disassociated parts of the whole through the autonomic nervous system, along with dynamic stretches, meridian pressure points, and deep tissue manipulation where appropriate.

Many disciplines may be intuitively drawn upon to facilitate relaxation and healing in a session including Feldenkreis, Body-mind Centering, Zero Balancing, Cranio-sacral & other integrated therapies.

I also teach Qi Gung exercises & meditation practice.

I have an extensive background in European Zen Shiatsu and Thai Massage (England, Japan & Thailand), along with many years of massage and bodywork training at the Esalen Institute in Big Sur, California.

I have also worked many years as a practitioner at the exclusive Post Ranch & Ventana Inn, etc
