Western Heating & Air Conditioning

Let’s start with the good stuff.
First off, there was enough to warrant 5 stars when we first started. The cost was low, the people were kind, friendly and open about what I’d be paying/​getting with my purchase.
That being said, let’s get on to the bad stuff.
When the furnace was first installed I followed all instructions on how to care for it for the first 24 – 48 hours, then it began making «BOOM» noises. I contacted the company and they came out to investigate promptly (thank you).
The tech said it was just a loose wire. Two days later, same problem. Call again. Techs come back out and say that there’s too many 90′ bends in the pipes (why wasn’t this noticed in the first place?)
After they fix the bends they cut another hole in my house and another 3″ hole in my houses main support beam. Now my power bill hasn’t gone down at all (it’s actually begun to rise) so I investigated and found that they haven’t insulated the holes that they’ve cut through the wall and there’s cold air just blowing in from the outside.
I’ve tried to contact them again, but there’s no support email, and now the website says that they only allow 1 submission per customer and I’ve already had to contact them 3 times so I’m S.O.L. and have to contact them on the phone (which is a pain seeing as I work night shifts and have to lose sleep if I’m gonna catch them)
I’m tired of having to contact them for unprofessional work and, at best, will change this review to a 2 star if they come out and fix the holes that they’ve cut into my house, and remove the old pipe that they left from the first botched install.

After spending a night thinking about the things I’ve said I’ve decided to raise it to a two star review. The people who helped were not rude or lazy. They have always been more than happy to come out (even when it was the the 2^nd or 3^rd time I’ve called.) and try to fix the issue.
The rest still stand, and I’m displeased with the lack of quality craftsmanship that has gone into this install, but I don’t want to throw them under the bus completely.

After seeing the review they were nice enough to contact me and try to make amends. A tech came out quickly and patched up the place. Thank you very much for fixing everything up.

I recently contacted Western Heating and Air and was fortunate enough to have Justin come out and take a look at my unit. He was extremely professional and was able to determine that it was just a simple fix. He also gave me some great insight into the condition of my unit as a whole and gave me some tips to ensure it stays in great working order in the future. Overall I was very impressed with there service and would definitely recommend Western Heating and Air if all of the technicians were as helpful as Justin.

I am AMAZED at the honesty, talent and hard work of the employees of Western Heating and Air (ask for Sharee L. and Justin W.). They came to give me a bid on a new furnace. Instead Sharee L. said I think we can fix your existing furnace and air conditioner, and they did!!!
I told Sharee my furnace went out 4 months ago at the end of January and I have been going without heat. I had another heating repair company to my home and spent $ 700 with the other company, after 3 week my furnace went out AGAIN and now my air conditioner went out the same day. Western Heating said they think the 2 items are linked from the furnace going out. The other repair company told me I would need a new furnace and I couldn’t afford $ 4,000.00 so I went without heat for 4 months. Because of the poor repair preformed by the other company that only lasted 3 weeks, I didn’t trust them to come back out to give me a bid on a new furnace. So I called Western Heating and Air. I read Western Heating and Air’s reviews on line and they were great! So I gave them a call,
thank God I did!!! I will be singing their praises!!!

We recently had new furnaces and air conditioners installed in our 36 year old home. The team arrived on time, were polite, respectful, informative and left our home clean without any sign of them being there. Our team consisted of Chase, Mark, Tracy and Colton. They were so awesome! Colton even fixed our garage door opener for us while he was here. A great team and a great experience!

Excellent service. I have used this company for both my primary home in Highland and, recently, for a newly purchased investment property duplex in Provo. Sharee was our sales rep on the duplex and great to work with. We had two AC units installed there and ran into a small problem with the performance of one of the units. I called Sharee and they came to the site and fixed it by moving the unit at their own time expense. And they did it happily :). That is a five star service response in my book!

Sunday was the second time we’ve had the need for fairly urgent AC repair, and once again Western Heating and AC provided excellent service. Technician Justin was prompt, friendly and clearly explained what the problem was. Repair was completed quickly and we were able to work out a great price that included preventative maintenance on both AC units and furnaces. The discounted pricing essentially offset the price of the off-​hours call. I cannot imagine using another company for my HVAC needs.

Derek and Sharee are awesome to work with. Western Heating and Air diagnosed the issue with my AC quickly and fixed it at a very reasonable price. I will definitely be using them again!

This was my first time using WH&AC and it won’t be my last. Scheduling was a breeze. They called 20 minutes before Mike arrived to let me know he was on his way. He arrived 20 minutes later. Mike was incredibly professional and friendly and explained everything that he was doing. Unfortunately he had to tell me that I was low on refrigerant and the cost was going to be more than I was expecting but he was very professional about it. I can definitely feel the difference.

First experience with Western Heating and AC has been awesome. Breanna helped get an appointment squared away, and Mike M. was a phenominal technician. He was very helpful and informative, and in the end the diagnostic pricing was very reasonable. I found him to be very straightforward and honest!

I have been a customer of WH&AC for a couple of years. They are easy and great to work with. I am glad that their technicians are on time, clean and efficient. Mike M. was here for our A/​C tune up. He was great to answer all of my questions and most importantly keep my A/​C unit running great.

I have used WH&AC on many condos that I manage. I appreciate their polite nature, clear communication, knowledge, and courtesy. Will use again.

Great team of professionals. They were very respectful, clean and efficient. They were able to get through some electric obstacles that all other bids were not able to with little to no evasive maneuvers. Very happy with our choice to go with Western.

These guys are great. Bill was so patient with me as I figured out if I wanted to fix my furnace or just replace it. He offered as many space heaters as I needed to keep the house warm until they were able to come back. Ended up having to replace the whole furnace, and Bill made sure to give me the most competitive price.
The install tech, Jim, spent all day removing the old unit and installing the new. He was friendly, explained everything he was doing, and cleaned up after himself when he left. He was even kind enough to help me with my fuse box while he was here. Will definitely recommend them to anyone needing Heating or AC work.

Great guys fixed my A/​C less then 200 bucks Tim

In order to make my water heater code compliant Jim S. had to rebuild the old venting system. It was a tuff job that required a lot of part fitting and dirty work! I was very impressed with his skill and customer service, plus he cleaned up all the mess. I would also note that he arrived on time and the price was reasonable considering the task.

Shelbee and Eric came to my office to repair our A/​C after it had been out for 3 days (over the weekend and then a holiday). I called them in the morning and they promised to send someone out at about 5pm. I was pleasantly surprised when they called at 1:30pm asking if they could stop by immediately.
I was impressed with the efficiency and knowledge that they worked with. I could tell they were well educated on the equipment and how to get it working. They fixed many of the problems that my last HVAC tech created, and got my system back up and running.
I purchased a maintenance package with them so that I could get annual tuneups by them again. I was very happy and impressed with the service. I would recommend them to anyone!
