Forest Ridge Kennel LLC is a family owned business with siblings Kristi, Karen and Rob at the helm. We were raised with a deep love and respect for animals and each of us has welcomed many furry family members into our lives over the years! We consider ourselves to be the people that belong to various pets. To that end, we have dedicated a considerable amount of our lives to serving our pets and others. Our kennel is set on 6.5 acres, away from the mêlée of city life and nestled into protected nature areas. Dog runs feature indoor and outdoor areas and they are climate controlled for the wide range of weather that Wisconsin experiences.

I love Forest Ridge. They are very friendly and accommodating and always take great care of my pup! Their prices are reasonable and they offer great extras like playtime, treat breaks and nature walks.

This place is horrible for cat boarding. I was very optimistic when I took my little guy here for a three day stay and was terribly disappointed from the start. The cats are kept in an upstairs room above the grooming area. The room is pretty small and filthy, it also reeked of cat urine when we walked in. The cats are all kept in individual small cages with their litter boxes (which I am assuming with the smell are very infrequently changed) and one thin blanket. I am not sure what I was expecting but after having used one other area boarding facility where my cat had a full huge space to himself I was extremely uncomfortable leaving my cat there but had plans that could not be altered. I will never bring him here again and would not recommend that anyone else would either.

Great place to take your pets! Great facility, very clean and the people who work there are very friendly. If coming from West side of Madison, call them for a great short cut-​super easy to find.
