Absolute worst service and communication I have ever experienced. Started the process having may A/C unit replaced in September. They cancelled 3 appointments come to find out they never even picked up the A/C unit that First American shipped. I have been emailing and calling for the last 6 months with the same response, «We will call First American and get this resolved.» Per my call with First American on 6÷1÷2016 the last communication of record they have on file with Temp a cure was in September of 2015. I was able to conference First American and Temp a cure today come to find out the owner placed the blame on me by saying, «you dropped the ball.» Really???

I agree with all the other people that have posted. This is hands down the worst company I have ever encountered. Again, hired through my home warranty. He didn’t even have to diagnose the problem because another company came out before and told me my air conditioning unit had a broken flood switch and bent pan. He checked it out and said he would check to see what was covered in the home warranty. He never called to tell us. So I called them four times asking them to submit a report to my home warranty company about what needed to be fixed. Most often I got an answering service. Once I got a man that said he would make sure they called me back and… nothing. Then, my home warranty company called them and asked them to send a report twice and nothing. I was trying to take care of this over the course of 3 weeks because my home warranty was going to expire. So, basically they screwed me because I am no longer covered on my home warranty because they did not return any of the phone calls or submit a report.

If your home warranty gives you to them — REFUSETOUSETHEM. I’d call it terrible service, communication but really it is NO service or communication. It took 5 days to get a return phone call and make an appointment. Then they were quick to come and take my $ 75 service fee, look around for 10 minutes and do NO work. Said they’d call me the next day to arrange the fixing of extensive problems of my ducts which would be covered by my home warranty. I’VENEVERHEARDFROMTHEMAGAIN. I’ve called every day for 5 days and am promised a call back. NOTHING. This is a downright scam.

This was the worst company I have ever had to work with. We were forced to work with them due to a contract with our home owners insurance and it was painful the entire time. First it took them 4MONTHS!!! 4MONTHS to finally get to our house to install the air conditioner. it was almost snowing by then. Not only that but they had the worst customer service! I would set up an appointment for them to come out to our house, miss work while being home, and the just wouldnt show up. They did not have the courtesy to call and say they werent going to make it. To make matters worse, this happened not once, not twice but 3 times! Then we had an inspector come and look at it after it was installed, and it wasn’t even complete and they had to come back again. I must say I would definitely steer clear from this company unless they make some big changes.

Only reason they are getting one star is because no stars is not an option. I had to go through them because of home warranty America. Our furnace quit working on Monday evening and had the claim filed and called temp a cure on Tuesday morning. They scheduled the appointment for Thursday between 11 – 3 and told me that I needed to be home for it. I had to take time off of work and everything only to receive a call that they will not be coming today but not until Monday! This would be fine in the winter but it is 15 degrees outside and it is supposed to snow the next 4 days. The lady on the phone was not at all accommodating and just kept asking if Monday was ok to which I responded no. However, she had no other alternatives and didn’t even apologize for this. I would never use them as they are rude and unprofessional!

I’m only giving this one star because I couldn’t give any less. We called because we had a question about our gas fireplace. They didn’t say anything about a charge to come out and just look at it and give us an estimate. When the guy showed up he didn’t have any identification. He said he was here to look at the furnace. When we asked a few questions and found out who he was and where he was from, we told him we had asked for someone to come look at the fireplace chimney insert. He came inside. He had no idea how to turn on the fireplace so we turned it on for him. He said he was the furnace guy and didn’t know anything about fireplaces. We mentioned to him that when our furnace was serviced the same guy looked at the fireplace and suggested we have somebody check it out to see if the pipe was okay and see if we needed a cap. He said he didn’t work on that so we thanked him for his time and he left. We called the company right after he left to let them know we were unhappy. The lady on the phone apologized and said there would be no charge for the visit. When we asked what charge they were talking about, they mentioned they usually had a service fee for working on the furnace. We explained the situation again and she said she had noted the account and there would be no charge. Then we got a bill from them for $ 80 for a service call. The guy wasn’t here for more than 5 minutes. He had no idea why he had come. He didn’t identify himself. He couldn’t help us and he left. There was never any mention of a fee. We called about the bill and they mentioned there are notes on the account about the fireplace and the cap and basically everything that WE told THEM when we called. They are claiming that they diagnosed the problem and they serviced the fireplace and that we owe them. We have talked to them 3 different times now and it has only gotten worse. They are threatening to send us to collections if we don’t pay. I want everyone to know how slimy this company is. DONOTHIRETHEM

DONOTUSE. We were forced to use them via Home Warranty of America. It has been 5 ½ weeks without heat since our heat pump has died. I have seen 2 technicians, a sub contractor, and the owner about 4 times. That does not include the times they came out when we were not home. With all of these visits it still is not fixed. The owner uses foul language, has hung up on me, and refuses to let me talk. Even HWA has decided not to use them for our claim anymore. They replaced our entire heat pump and THESAMEPROBLEMEXISTS. Very unprofessional, no communication. However the two ladies in the office, especially Lisa, are extremely professional, sympathetic, understanding, and follow through with what they say.
