AAdvanced Dental

I went for a cleaning and a filling at AAdvanced Dental a week ago, and was highly impressed by Dr Shimanovsky. She did good work and was both friendly and enjoyable so far as going to the dentist goes — few people enjoy being in a dentist chair. The support staff was also welcoming and went out of their way to help with paperwork and scheduling. I highly recommend AAdvanced Dental.

Very comfortable atmosphere and friendly, professional staff. I have never had a problem with scheduling and the dental work has been exceptional. They are also very up front with costs and are very good about reminders.
Im a bit stunned about the reviews from others, but I suppose that’s why reviews are what they are. Im not a fan of dentists (not that many enjoy having their teeth scraped at), but this experience has been one of the best. I continue to drive from Beaverton as I don’t want to leave these guys.

I recently went here as a new patient. This place is probably the best dental office I have ever been to. The services are great and the people are friendly. There is just one little negative part. My paperwork was «lost» in the mail (the dental office claims), so I had to go to the office to get new paperwork. Other than this, I highly recommend this dental office.

Wow! My experience was completely different than the other reviewers. I drove two hrs for this appt and was not disappointed. Most thorough cleaning I’ve had. They took a type of measurement on my gums I’ve never had done before and when I mentioned that fact they seemed surprised because it should be done regularly. Their staff was professional, courteous and above all extremely efficient. As for the other reviewers comment about the xrays being emailed to the her I would think of that as a positive rather than a negative. Most medical and dental offices are going to electronic medical records. Case in point I had asked my prior dentist to get records/​Xrays up to AAdvanced Dental and they had mailed them five days prior to my appointment and they still weren’t there by the time I arrived. I was more than annoyed. I appreciate the fact that Advanced Dental is electronic and can quickly access my records as well as get them to any other providers office or myself instantly! I think most people in today’s age want there stuff immediately and therefore appreciate the use of technology to do so. I wk in the medical field and know what to expect from a provider. They did everything right! From the confirmation call, timeliness of taking me back, patient education of what is going on (I had cracked tooth/​fillings), explaining financial options, etc. Will definitely be going back! Worth my two hrs drive each way! ;)

Really nice people, for the most part, that’s the only nice thing I can say. The office staff is ragingly incompetent. Twice they scheduled me on days the doctor wasn’t going to be there. The second time they didn’t even call me to tell me, but e-​mailed me, asking me to call them? What? The office visit took twice as long as it should, due to overscheduling. I was sitting there waiting for most of the two hours I was there. Then, after, when I called and asked them to mail me my x-​rays, confirming my mailing address, they e-​mailed them to me. I’m only grateful I didn’t pay much, since I went there on a Groupon. I wouldn’t go back, even with a discount. Places like this just don’t treat their clients with respect. The whole thing is just irritating. I was treated better at the county low-​income clinic!
