History

Established in 2003.

In 2003 Sheila Gibilisco opened InSPArations Full Service Spa and Salon. Her goal was to create a warm and inviting atmosphere where clients could feel comfortable and receive exceptional service. Located right in the heart of Old Orcutt, InSPArations earned the reputation of an upscale, hometown spa.

It did not take the community long to discover InSPArations and all it had to offer. After only a few months of being in business, we were honored to receive multiple awards from The Santa Maria Times and The Sun. Our clients have voted us the best place to receive a massage, best place to feel ten years younger, and best manicure and pedicure, year after year. We continue to be a favorite among the community and we strive to always exceed your expectations.

Over the years, our clients have become our family. Clients are always welcomed warmly, and our technicians take the time to get to know you and your personal needs. We put our heart and soul into making YOU feel your best.

Meet the Business Owner

Sheila G.

Business Owner

After working in the banking industry for over 10 years, I decided to make a change in my career and take classes in massage therapy. I always had a desire to help people and thought of going into nursing but I also enjoyed receiving massages so I felt I could start with that first then approach nursing. I fell in love with the beauty industry and after receiving my massage therapy license at the Touch Therapy Institute I studied esthetics at the Lu Ross Academy. I worked at Sony Pictures Entertainment and Tri Star Studio’s, working on movie locations and the studios as a massage therapist. In addition to the movie industry I also worked at a day spa were I learned more about the beauty industry and esthetics. Then, I went on to learn permanent make up and trained with Susan Church at the International Institute of Permanent Cosmetics. I have completed Advance training courses and have earned several Certificates in this industry.
