I was misdiagnosed with Fibromyalgia/​Chronic Fatigue in 2012 by several western medicine doctors. Actually, It’s not that I was misdiagnosed; once they don’t know what’s wrong with you, you get the FIBRO stamp! In Feb 2015 I was finally tested for Lyme with the Western Blot and it was positive for co-​infection Babesia/​Lyme. This test was ordered by a holistic acupuncture doctor in my family! She also is a patient of NLC health center. I trust her, so I made the appointment!
I first wen to see Scott in August 2015, referred to by a family member to treat Chronic Lyme. He used the Zyto machine and other natural testing. He identified parasites, liver issues, gal bladder issues, immune issues and a host of others which I was not surprised since my body was so so sick. Who knows how long I’ve had Chronic Lyme?!? I was fatigued, in pain, migraines, restless leg, insomnia, alcohol intolerance, IBS, hypoglycemic to name a few! I was on prescriptions that were doing nothing but masking my symptoms and giving me new symptoms and side effects. I wanted off these and was looking for a natural approach.
On my first appointment he spent a couple hours with me and then provided several supplements to start the healing process. He warned me that natural healing would take a little time, but I was all in! I would see him once a month for the first three months, and then every other month. I live about 2 ½ hours away. By the first 3 weeks I noticed my energy started increasing and my IBS was getting better. By the 3^rd month I was feeling on cloud nine! My energy was back, my migraines were less, pain less, insomnia GONE!, gut was feeling awesome! Now, I’m 9 months into treatment and I am feeling great! My body is starting to function normally, I can feel it healing and everyone can see the change in me. My husband is so glad to see me returning to my old self.
My daughter was struggling with her health so I started taking her with me to see Scott and just in the first three weeks, she too is feeling better. He identified food allergies and once she followed his plan we could see quick results! She said she is so excited about this new found health! We look forward to our trip to NLC knowing we are one step closer to recovery!

I cannot speak highly enough about Scott Sommer and NLC Health Center. Over a year ago, I went to see Scott after some dear friends recommended him to me. Without going into too much detail, I was experiencing terrible female issues with losing a lot of blood monthly and painful fibroids. After the first month of seeing Scott and taking a few whole food supplements, all those issues vanished and I have not had any of the symptoms I used to have before I started with him. More recently, Scott truly helped me with a serious problem I started having with my heart racing to very high beats. Other doctors labeled it «panic attacks», but Scott helped me to discover that wheat is my kryptonite and once I cut that out of my diet, these attacks nearly vanished. I am grateful for his gift in healing people, for his knowledge which he shares weekly in his seminars at the health center, and for all he does. Scott rocks!!! After a year and half of multiple abscess breast infections, with 4 surgeries, two of which removed my milk ducts to try and stop infection without success, being physically sick from the massive amounts of antibiotics, my doctors (yes I said doctors) suggested a full mastectomy without reconstruction as my only option to try and stop this. My sister who has had great success with Scott pleaded for me to see him. Best thing I ever did! I have been infection and antibiotic free for over a year and half. 5 surgeons could not figure out what was going on. Scott helped my body heal itself.

NLC will change your life! When I first came to NLC three years ago my health was bad. I felt terrible everyday: tired, drained, foggy in the mind. Since then I have had incredible energy, better sleep, better workouts and I feel great!

I am very disappointed with Scott Sommer. I initially came in for sleep issues and troubles with weight loss (I exercise and eat well but can’t seem to lose weight). I had tried going to my primary care doctor but they just kept giving me different sleeping pills and I don’t like taking medication, especially when they dont even know whats causing the problems. I tried NLC Healthcare because Scott Sommer prefers to find the problem and then prescribe a program that will help with the healing process versus the pill pushing method of our western medicine doctors.
During the appointment he ran a series of tests using kinesiology and ZYTO, a machine that scans your body. He seemed to know where my difficiencies were and gave me about five supplements to take. I scheduled a follow up appointment two weeks later. My sleeping patterns seemed a bit better, and my energy levels were higher but I did not experience any weight loss. Surprisingly the night before my appointment I slept the best I had ever slept in years and I shared all of this in my appointment the following day.
During my second appointment, he said my allergies were still bad and gave me an allergy cleanse (roughly $ 55) which did nothing, told me to go ahead and not continue the one supplement that I had just finished, and gave me two more supplements to help with the sleep issues (which I said were better) and the weight loss. I went to schedule my next follow up appointment but between his vacation and my new job it was scheduled two months out. This is where it got bad.
The suplement caused insomnia and I called them immediately to return the product which they wouldn’t do, he wanted to see me again. I only had a small window so he squeezed me in and told me I switch (something he didn’t catch in the tests) which means I can have adverse affects to medication. He lowered my dosage and I asked if it didnt work, would he allow me to return it. He said, «yes».
After a week of phone tag, this did not happen. I continued to have interrupted sleep. I arranged to have my husband return the medication while I was at work. When my husband got there instead of taking the supplements back, he gave two other supplements and said he can not allow the return until he sees me (but apparently can allow me to take two extra supplements without seeing me). He also asked me to stop using the other supplements I had purchased in the interim.
After 3 appointments and the purchase of 9 supplements I feel the same as I did before I spent approximately $ 300+ and have three different suggestions on how to take the supplements. There is no way I am going back in to have him reevaluate me for a 3^rd time when nothing has changed. I dont appreciate being told one thing and then misled when I follow up.

My experience with Scott Sommer was horrible. I told him I had been diagnosed with neurological lyme disease in my brain and nervous system and he assured me he understood the complexity of lyme disease and how to treat it.
The first visit was fine. He put me on a Zyto machine and sold me supplements as indicated by the feedback from the machine.
The second visit he put me on a Zyto machine again but was busy with other patients so he asked his assistant to put me on a chi machine for 20 minutes which was designed to stimulate my lymph glands, and then an E Power machine. I asked what the E Power machine was for? and she said «it puts healing energy through your body». I later learned that it runs electricity through the body. I was on the E Power machine for 20 minutes. When I got off from the table my body went through severe shaking, seizure like movements, uncontrollable facial movements and I was in panic. Bartonella, one of the coinfections I have is known for causing panic. The bugs got stirred up by the process. In addition the swelling in my brain and head increased and I had new swelling in my knee and ankle.
I called Scott into the room and he said it was «a healing crisis.» He put a magnet on my chest to try to calm it down but it did not work. Scott did not recognize that my body was too sensitive for that machine. My Lyme literate doctor told me you would never put someone with neurolgical Lyme who has brain swelling and a compromised nervous system on a machine that runs electricity through you. Scott had misrepresented himself when he assured me that he understood how to treat Lyme and it’s coinfections.
The worst part is that Scott never said «gosh I made a mistake. It looks like your body was not able to handle that input of electricity. I’m so sorry» We all make mistakes. If he had been humble enough to apologize and showed more compassion it would have made all the difference to me. He is a business man above all else. After a week of continual seizures I asked Scott for a refund. He refused to give it and turned my case over to his insurance for investigation so I had to «prove my case». I wrote a letter explaining what happened and was denied.
Lyme disease is a serious illness. Scott did not recognize how fragile my nervous system was in my condition. He was overly confident, tried to do too much, and does not really tune into his patients. He is passionate about his practice but more passionate about his wallet. I had a huge set back after going to Scott Sommer — the opposite of what he promised would happen. Buyers beware!

I highly recommend Scott Sommer at NLC for almost any health concern you have. That is broad recommendation, and I do not make it lightly. Here is why.
I am a 48 year old male who is married with a 7 year old son. My wife, my son and I have been going to see Scott Sommer at NLC for about 3 years now. My son used to have stomach pain and overall tiredness. My son is much stronger now and his stomach pain stays away as long as we keep on the healthy supplements that are recommended for him.
My wife started with heavy fatigue, body aches all over and has had some other symptoms that have come and gone. Scott’s work has definitely helped her with all it.
