I called them for industrial building service. I thought the technician was punctual, knowledgeable and honest and I would would call them again for service.

Had a great experience with Golden Aire and the technician who did the work, Rick.
We had a couple of nagging problem with our A/​C. First, there were several rooms that would not get cold. Second, running one zone would create ice on the condenser.
We initially had another company come out that diagnosed the problem as improper ducting. Their solution was to replace all the ducting which was in the $ thousands. Their solution didn’t feel right so we contacted Golden Aire for a second opinion.
When Rick came out, he diagnosed our problem as a broken damper and the cost of repair was in the $ hundreds. Strangely, I recalled that the first company noticed the same thing but still went with the re-​ducting.
Needless to say, Golden Aire saved us a bunch of money and our A/​C has never been better.

We just had Golden Aire install a brand new HVAC. There service was awesome, I can’t say enough positive things abut them. The entire staff was friendly and courteous. They paid attention to every detail. They had the best price of three bids I received. The HVAC unit it top rated by Consumer Reports. I highly recommend them.

Goldenaire replaced a TXV valve on our air conditioner for $ 700 last August. In the beginning of July when the weather got warm again we turned on the unit. The unit worked initially then stopped making the air cool.
I called Goldenaire. They diagnosed the problem as a broken compressor. They quoted me $ 2000 to replace the compressor and $ 3200 to replace the unit. Diagnostic charge, $ 85.
I got a second opinion.
The second company replaced the TXV valve for $ 350 and now the unit is working great.

Rick worked in 105 degree heat to get my elderly parents air conditioning working without charging them something outrageous fee! They also bumped up their appointment knowing they were elderly and could not take the heat. Wonderful company.

Luckily, over many years in my home, I have only had to call Golden Aire twice. We had scheduled an appointment for this coming Monday but I got a call asking if this afternoon would be okay — YOU BET! The technician was really a nice, as was the one years ago. The BEST thing I have to say is that. .. I trust Golden Aire to do the job right and charge a very fair price. You won’t be disappointed — call them!

I had a major worry that turned out to be a minor problem. Chris came out and fixed the problem and explained the proper setup for my Honeywell Wireless thermostat. This is the second time in a few years Golden we have used them, I trust them and the prices seem fair. When the system overhaul comes, in a few years I hope, we will call them first.

If you need someone for heating and air, this would be the best place you could go!
I had them put my new heater in and since I am one of those people that worry about everything, I’ve called them twice and they came right out both times and reassured me all was fine and went over everything thoroughly to put my mind at ease. I called to have a couple of my air ducts replaced. The office staff was very professional and scheduled an appointment for the next day. The technician John showed up right on time and was very professional, clean and courteous. He completed the requested repairs and even fixed another problem he found for no charge. The final price was exactly what I was quoted, which is always nice. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Golden Aire!

I wish there was 10 stars to rate Golden Air. Same day service and expert tech (Chris). Had my dead heater up and running in no time. I have used them before but have never rated them, I wish I had, they so deserve it. Thank you Golden Air! :)

Met Ken over 25 years ago when they installed a new system into my 1950 home. It was a challenge, but they did a good job. Used then to check out m\the systems on my second home, and now had them replace new units in my current house.
Always responsive, good workers, and reasonibly priced (still check each time I use them).

When I came home from work Thursday the air conditioner was not working. The fan blades were still, there was a burnt odor in the air and the was a grinding sound coming from the unit. I called Golden Aire and Joe asked if it could wait until the next day. I agreed because we have an attic fan.
Chris came out the next day and after checking the unit said there was a problem with the motor, which would be about $ 450 to replace. But then he continued working on it, and got it to work. He said it might continue working, but if it quit running showed us how to get it started again. He also cleaned our unit which was extremely dirty. Then he told us how to remove the screws and explained how to clean the unit in the future, as well as some information about other things we could do to better maintain the air conditioner. The final cost was only $ 85! We were very happy that it didn’t cost more than that and he spent the time explaining things we could do to save money.
I appreciate the honesty of the people in this company, and that they really did want to save us money.

Called Golden Aire to fix a air conditioning problem (water was leaking? from AC in the garage and causing mildew) they fixed the problem (line needed to be flushed) for $ 83 and showed my brother how to fix it the next time it happened. Called them again for a heater that wouldn’t start for a rental property — needed a new part which they installed and it has been working great for the last 2 years. A younger technician was the one who helped both times — was young but he was very knowledgeable, had time to come out right away, was on time, very professional and a really good price. Very happy with their service.

I have had them out for inspection and semi annual service several times. They are always on time and on the money. Very reasonable and professional. Great people. I highly recommend them.

I have used Golden Aire for years and would not trust anyone else. They are honest and fair and quick to respond. Their intregity and service are second to no one. They answer my questions and make me feel like I am their only client.

Until recently we used another small Heating/​Air company whose service was very good… when they returned phone calls. A business associate recommended Golden Aire, and like the first reviewer, we found their service to be excellent: Prompt return call, on-​time, obvious expertise and very fair prices.

I’m not one to usually write reviews but after the service received today I felt I had to. I’ve had numerous problems with our air conditioning unit in a five year old home and have tried several other companies with mostly negative experiences.
After a recommendation from family I called Golden Aire as our AC went down again just as temps reach near 100 degrees. A gentleman named Ed came out who mentioned he was the owner. He was out handling calls as all his techs were busy with the onslaught of calls. You can’t beat having the owner come out with 30+ years of experience. Within mere minutes he diagnosed the problem and fixed it.
Even better he tells me parts and labor combined would be under $ 150 and it was one part needing replacement. This is after being quoted as high as $ 2,900 by other companies to fix the same exact problem. I even asked Ed if there was anything else he’d like to quote me on which he think might need to be fixed in near future on the AC while he was here. His response was «No need at this point, everything looks good so save your money»
I can’t recommend this company highly enough. They don’t have the flashy billboards and the expensive commercials of their competitors so no need to inflate charges on your bill to pay for their advertising.
This is the way all companies should be, sad to see they are the exception these days.
