DJ Bernie was awesome and very professional. The custom monogram was a nice touch to the wedding. He was great at keeping the wedding on schedule with all the speeches and activities. Not only was Dj Bernie our wedding DJ, he also provided his services in the last couple weddings we attended. It was always full of fun with great music. We also used his photobooth. Our guest loved all the props. His pricing is very reasonable. We highly recommend him.

I have learned that weddings never go as planned. So when your timeline goes sideways, but DJ stays the course, it really is impressive.
DJ Bernie is professional, organized and really there for his clients. Throughout the process he delivered what he said he would. He helped to mic the ceremony and provide up lighting. He kept the party going during reception so much so that my father-​in-​law was dancing all night. Good selections of music and a great time had by all.

We hired DJ Bernie for our wedding on ⁸⁄₂₉. His communication was great and let us know that his brother Anthony would be the DJ at our event. We were very happy with the result and all of our guests said I was one of the best wedding they had been to in a long time. We would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a DJ.

Bernie has been the DJ at the major events of my employer for the last 10 years. He is always great with catering to all in the crowd — whether there were 100 — 2,000 in attendance. I was so glad we were able to hire him for my brother’s wedding. Of course he didn’t disappoint! In fact he was able to help us out with the sound during the ceremony at the last minute. If you want your guest to dance than book DJ Bernie!!! Bernie not only provided mics and music for our officiant at the ceremony he created the perfect playlists to set the mood for cocktail hour and get the party started for after dinner. He knows exactly what to play to please the crowd (he played our guests song requests but made sure to ok any questionable songs with the bride first). The wedding classics to the obscure he played it all and rocked it! Our dance floor was never empty and our guests danced all the way till last call from the venue.
Bernie provided a custom monogram that looked professional and elegant. He even accommodated a split room. He set up speakers inside and outside to provide music for dinner and then dancing later. He was super easy to work with and provided such a fun atmosphere for our guests.

DJ Carrion did my wedding on June 19, 2015. I contacted Carrion and had several questions since I’ve never hired a DJ before. He answered all my questions and even worked within my budget. I was pretty firm on how much I wanted to spend and we worked out a price we both were happy about! During the reception I had a few specific songs I wanted played (first dance, father/​daughter) and everything went exactly as I wanted. He did requests from my guests, worked with a guest so they could do a guitar solo for my husband and I, and he even did lighting for us!!! I’m very happy with DJ Carrion and would have him do another event for us!

Bernie did an excellent job at our out of town wedding. We had a hard time finding someone reasonably priced to travel an hour and a half out to our ranch wedding. Once we met with Bernie in person I loved the fact that he was not pushy as some other DJ’s had been. He told us the details of what he provides and let us think it over instead of trying to make us sign a contract right on the spot. On the day of the wedding he arrived on time, had a nice set up and kept the party going all night. He was also very easy to communicate with and handled all the details perfectly. I highly recommend using Bernie!

I really can’t say enough great things about Bernie! I contacted 6 or 7 djs and knew from the moment I talked to Bernie that we absolutely have him Dj our wedding. We gave him very little instruction on the type of music to play yet EVERY SONG was a hit!!! He had our whole party on the dance floor!!! He also created a mix for my dad and I and was soooo patient with me and really cared about me liking the mix! I can’t say enough great things!!! Just don’t think twice– hire him!

Bernie did an amazing job at our wedding on 10/​12/​2014! Aside from the ceremony and reception dancing, he also handled all the music for our circus performers, and it was nice and loud. Pro-​tip: Remember to test your mics before the event!
He was very responsive and communicated well. Before the wedding, he kept us on track by letting us know exactly what he needed from us, gave us some great suggestions for music to use, and filled in all the rest with excellent taste. It was such a relief to have someone so utterly reliable, competent, and self-​sufficient in the midst of all that chaos!
He had great transitions and really kept the house rocking — as soon as our first dance was done, nearly everyone piled onto the dance floor since he had warmed us all up so well right before.
He even incorporated some of our eclectic suggestions — «The Lion Sleeps Tonight», bhangra music, etc. — really seamlessly.

We found out about Bernie through a friend of ours and I’m so happy I used him for our wedding. He did a great job providing the right music and made sure he kept the guests entertained. We decided to go with the photo booth and the monogram and I really felt like it made the night. I came up with a design for the monogram to go with the theme of our wedding «Best Day Ever» and it was perfect. Everyone had a blast at the photo booth; It was a hit! The lighting, which he provides was also spectacular. For the price, the services he provides and great work, you can’t go wrong with Bernie. I would definitely use him again.

Unlike most of the reviews, I had the pleasure of working with Bernie during a wedding, at which I was the Wedding Coordinator. He was very friendly with me and the other vendors working, super easy to accomodate as I was in charge of getting the vendor meals for everyone and he definitely knew what he was doing while prepping the lights and sound system for the reception. From the music selection and execution to the beyond beautiful lighting, Bernie and his assistant kept the house upbeat and moving the entire time. His DJ skills were on par but not over-​the-​top by any means which I thought was very appropriate for that type of event. I would definitely recommend him for any DJ/​Lighting needs for upcoming events or to be used as a vendor-​to-​vendor recommendation!

Bernie Carrion did a great job DJing a party I had in July 2014. Great music and my guests had a good time. I would recommend him. He had a wide variety of music and we asked him to focus on 70s and 80s, which he’d. But still have time to throw in some current songs and even some country.

I found Bernie off craigslist and although finding services through there may be often times sketchy, Bernie and Gabe, DJ Partner, were unexpectedly the best vendors during my wedding. He provided me with unlimited amount of uplights (we ended up using 15), a customized monogram spotlight, 7 hours of DJ/​MC service. And although, I only contracted them for 7 hours, he showed up early and stayed late.
My sister made me a slideshow during my wedding and it wasn’t connected any speakers so instead we had him play the music, the slide show started before the music did and with just one look he knew to transition the music to the next song to sync them together. I can’t tell you how nice it felt to have such an intuitive flexible vendor.
He kept my crowd dancing all night. I loved them so much, we’re using him again at my sister’s and my best friend’s wedding. Bernie and Gabe absolutely enjoys doing what they do, and it truly shows.
Anytime anyone I know is looking for a DJ I always recommend him. Additionally, both of them have really great MC voices =) The only thing I regretted was not remembering to offer them a vendor meal or drinks. Definitely, don’t forget to that folks, lesson learned. I felt terribly bad for forgetting.

We hired Bernie for our wedding reception on May 17, 2014 at the Hyatt Regency Sacramento in the Capitol View room on the 15^th floor. In fact, he was recommended by the hotel’s event coordinator as she has worked with him many times and received great reviews from guests that hired him. Bernie lived up to his reputation. All of our guests raved about him. He kept them on their feet. He blended in effortlessly with all of our other vendors like a team player. That made us feel confident and comfortable. I was married on 5÷31÷14. We hired DJ B Carrion as our wedding DJ, which turned out to be one of the best decisions we made in choosing wedding vendors. I should note that I am an event planner, so was very detailed and meticulous in selecting vendors for my wedding, and I was a very high-​maintenance bride – expecting a high level of service and lots of contact with my vendors to make sure everything was just right for my wedding day.
I RECOMMEND DJ B CARRION EXTREMELY HIGHLY if you’re looking for a DJ for your event – especially one as significant as your wedding. Bernie DJ’ed our wedding ceremony and our reception and he was THE all-​star of our wedding. Bernie came through on every little detail precisely as we’d arranged (wish I could say the same for my other vendors), did a prefect job MC’ing and DJ’ing, worked well with me and the rest of my vendors before and during the event, and made our wedding reception one super fun PARTY!
My fiancé found DJ B Carrion on Thumbtack. He advertised the best price we’d seen – lower than ALL of the reputable wedding DJs in the greater Sacramento area, so we arranged to meet with him. He came to our home at our convenience to do an initial consultation. From the very first time we met Bernie, he was very professional (some DJs we met with were quite unprofessional), knowledgeable, presentable (some DJs in the area are not), and above all he was an absolute pleasure to work with!
Bernie offered a us full package – reception lighting (we had 14 uplights), dance floor lighting (he has really cool dance floor lighting), gobo (I even got to custom design my own gobo design), projector and screen, and of course high-​quality speakers, lapel mics, sound equipment, and an attractive DJ booth – for a MUCH LOWER COST than ANY of the other area DJs I’ve seen – and I researched many.
One of the most notable things about DJ B Carrion is that BERNIE CONDUCTS HIS BUSINESS WITH HONESTY AND INTEGRITY. His contract is a very simple one, so, being an event planner, I like to make sure that all of my bases are covered by contract, so I typed up a contract amendment that guaranteed everything we’d agreed on, and Bernie promptly reviewed it, signed it and returned it. Not once did I feel like he was trying to scam me or cheat me in any way. Additionally, I have the sense that Bernie was simply truly interested in doing a great job for us, from start to finish – which he certainly achieved.
In the planning phase he was adaptable and receptive to all of my requests (we did a funky wedding party intro that took a lot of coordination with music and he was highly involved in helping us get that part just right). He was easy to work with, he listened, and he always responded right away (sometimes within minutes – but always within a day) to all of my many planning emails. I cannot stress enough how important it is for your vendors to be responsive by email, and Bernie was the MOST responsive of all of my vendors. He always got back to me with thoughtful and informative responses, coming up with ideas and suggestions to help me make my reception perfect.
In the execution of the wedding, Bernie showed up much earlier than contracted (at no extra charge) to make sure all was set up with plenty of time. He brought an assistant with him and didn’t charge us more for the additional labor. He did everything he needed to do to make sure the event was flawless. He even stayed later than contracted because me, my new husband and a small group of my friends were still getting down on the dance floor. Bernie set up a beautiful event. His DJ booth setup, dance floor lighting, gobo and uplights were all high-​quality and setup well – Bernie created a beautiful ambiance in my reception space.
I cannot say enough good things about Bernie Carrion/​DJ B Carrion. He did SUCH a stellar job at our wedding and was an absolute pleasure to work with. I really hope you hire him for your event!
