I would not have made it through my wedding without Joseph’s help. From day one, Joseph was very professional and friendly. As a type A personality, I really appreciated his organizational skills and planning. Everything was organized into a spreadsheet that was easy to understand. I had to plan my wedding from across the country and without Joseph’s help, I know it would not have been as successful. He kept track of all the details for us and went above and beyond anything we could have hoped for. He and his team made sure that our wedding went smoothly and if there were any problems, Joseph fixed it before letting us know of any hiccups that had happened. His expertise guided us through the planning and execution of the wedding. He made the wedding day very painless to the point where I only had to worry about trying not to trip when walking down the aisle. He also had this uncanny ability to appear with water when I needed it the most. He made sure that my husband and I were hydrated and fed throughout the day so that there would be no fainting spells of any kind. I highly recommend Your Day by J and K as your wedding coordinators. I can’t say enough good things about them and wish I could rate them higher than 5 stars.

Kim and her team were absolute perfection! We were so taken care of from the very first meeting, to the very last detail of execution. Every single one of them went above and beyond, anticipating our every need. The level of professionalism was coupled with warmth and love.
They really saw our vision too. They believed in the fullness of what we wanted and helped to make our imagination a reality.

I work in the events industry myself, and when it came time to find my day of coordinators, I knew I had to find someone who was very detailed, friendly but firm, and someone I felt completely comfortable with and could trust. I trusted my gut when I hired Your Day By J&K and I was right :)
The planning process leading up to the month before was easy and fluid. Originally I met with Kim, and she took the time to get to know me and my planning style, and we talked through a ton of details before I officially booked their team. Kim shared a lot of vendor recommendations with me and was responsive anytime I had a question.
Fast track to the month before the wedding — Jayne attended a vendor meeting at my venue and really took charge with leading the meeting, and also helping to define our day-​of schedule. As someone who is used to doing this myself for other events I produce, it was really refreshing!
The day before our wedding, Jayne also led our rehearsal and helped us figure out the timing and cues for our ceremony.
On the day of my wedding, Jayne and her team (shoutout to Ryan!) helped us stay on track with the schedule throughout the night. They set up all our décor, signage and candy bar, and even hung a neon sign for us. Jayne made sure that my husband and I had enough to eat and that we were always hydrated and that we had everything we needed throughout the night. She also helped corral my huge family during family portraits — not an easy thing to do! She made sure that my husband and I were comfortable and that we enjoyed the night and were not in ‘work mode.’ Because of her, I was able to feel like a bride and I really didn’t worry about anything.
Jayne is so friendly, warm, detailed, and on top of things. I really felt comfortable working with her. Someone even asked if we were old friends because she and I had a good rapport.

I teamed up with party planner Reychel as the DJ and Emcee for a wedding at Cicada. (
if youre in the market for your entertainment!). Definitely request her as she goes above and beyond her job compared to other party planners I work with for weddings and mitzvahs.
First off, she handled the creation of the wedding timeline, which I usually do for my clients to get more acquainted to them and their needs, especially if they dont have a party planner! But Reychel handled the timeline, which makes it easier for any DJ to focus on music, lighting, and keeping out client pumped from day 1 all the way to the last song of the evening :-)
Secondly, there were a few last minute tweaks in the schedule throughout the night and Reychel handled them professionally. She understands that things happen and the client comes first. Ive seen planners treat private parties like its a scripted production that must follow a pre-​rehearsed script (Thats fine for corporate events!)
In the end Reychel and the professionalism of Your Day By J&K is Okay with me. I look forward to teaming up with them as their DJ again!

Jayne, Sierra and Kim are so awesome! We hired Your Day by J & K as our day of coordinators for our wedding, and they totally went above and beyond.
Our wedding had so many moving pieces and was far from your traditional hotel or restaurant wedding. From a bar trailer for signature drinks, to custom tables, to 2 different photography companies, to 2 catering companies, a non-​traditional wedding venue, and Popeyes Chicken (yes Popeyes Chicken) as part of cocktail hour, it was a crazy vision that Jayne helped pull together.
Our family and friends loved the ceremony and reception (which took place at different locations), and we owe it all to J & K for taking our ideas and making it into a reality that ran so smoothly.
Jayne was always prompt with emails leading up to the big day, and kept us on schedule with the craziness that is wedding planning. And her attention to detail and ability to shield us from the craziness of the day made it so enjoyable and stress free for us. We are truly thankful for all that they did for us and for going above and beyond.

If I could give Your Day By J & K a million stars I would! My husband and I hired Jayne and her team to do day of coordination for our wedding this past Saturday and I can honestly say it was by far the best decision we made throughout our entire wedding planning process. There is absolutely no way we could have pulled off the wedding without Jayne. Let me first start out by saying you get way more than just day or coordination, Jayne and her team really go above and beyond. We meet with Jayne in person more than once to go over details and to make a very detailed timeline which was such a relief because we felt like we had no idea what we were doing. She really helped us feel at ease and took away all of our stress.
The day before the wedding Jayne ran our rehearsal which was so helpful. On the day of the wedding Jayne and her team were so on top of every little detail. They were at the venue, at the hotel checking in on me and my bridal party, picking up flowers, etc. I feel like she and her team did the work of 20 people, truly amazing. She was so on point not to mention she is very calm which helps keep you (the bride) calm!
Our wedding was absolutely amazing, perfect, and magical. Jayne had every little detail perfectly executed, I cannot think of one single thing that wasn’t exactly the way I hoped and dreamed it would be. My husband and I had a thank you sign that we wanted to take pictures with to use on our thank you cards, I don’t even remember telling Jayne about it and of course I forgot about it when it came picture time, but then out of nowhere here comes Jayne like superwoman with the thank you sign! I was in owe! I remember thinking, is she psychic?!
I could go on and on about how absolutely AMAZING Jayne and this company is. I will forever be grateful that we made the decision to hire Your Day by J & K and I could not recommended them more. Jayne thank you sooo much for being the most amazing wedding coordinator ever, you helped make the most important day of our lives absolutely perfect!

Joseph and the J & K team were outstanding from the beginning of the planning process and up until the end of the wedding night.
There are so many little details that go into planning an event with two different venues (church and reception) and the logistics of it all. Joseph thought of everything. I was 100% confident in the team’s ability to pull off a day to remember. I questioned myself whether I wanted to hire a wedding coordinator, and I am so glad that I did. It was well worth the money spent!
Joseph is a charismatic individual who shows genuine interest in the couple and their likes and dislikes and wants to make sure that you are happy, given how stressful the day is. He was very courteous and cordial with the bride and groom, and our families and guests on the day of the wedding.
I honestly can’t think of anything that J&K could improve upon. They took care of handling the gifts, setting up, informing my husband and I of what was coming up, etc.
He was wonderful in returning phone calls and emails in less than a 24 hr. time period. He contacted all our vendors prior and made sure that everyone was informed of the day’s events. In addition, the bride, groom, and Joseph were in three different cities over an hour apart from each other, yet he was so flexible and worked around our schedules to meet with us when were all in town in the vicinity of our wedding site and coordinated our phone calls between our meetings.
My wedding went so smoothly, and my husband and I, as well as all of our guests have wonderful memories for years to come, due to the wonderful coordination service provided by Joseph and his staff.

Joseph was amazing from start to finish! Our wedding was last Sunday (6÷7÷15) and it was a full day wedding that included two ceremonies (Chinese tea ceremony and jumping the broom ceremony), a luncheon, and a dinner reception. It was a biracial wedding and we wanted to incorporate customs and tradition from both sides of the families… everything went off without a hitch. There were no major drama or issues… everybody was relaxed and enjoyed themselves (even the entire bridal party)…we had a blast at our wedding and we didn’t have to worry about anything. Joseph took care of everything and we never had to ask, he just knew and took care of it. At the end of the wedding, we asked Joseph if there was anything for us to do and he said, «No, everything has been packed, loaded, and taken cared of. All you have to do is get into the car and leave.» That was the BEST moment of the entire evening!!! Everybody in the bridal party, including family members, have complimented on how awesome Joseph was. He was calm, cool, and collected the entire time and everything was PERFECT!!! We couldn’t have asked for a better person to execute our wedding… we trust him with our lives… we say Joseph is the «BEST WEDDING COORDINATOR EVER!!» Honestly, I don’t think we could have done the wedding without Joseph! He will forever be a major part of our wedding memories… my husband even said he wants to throw another party just so we can use Joseph again! THANK YOU JOSEPH FOR BEING AWESOME AND FOR TAKING CARE OF OUR EVERY NEED!!! WE LOVE YOU!!!

I could sit here and write paragraphs about the great work Jayne and her team did but instead — all you need to know is that there is a reason these guys have 5 stars. Everything about their communication, coordination, attention to detail and attitude was perfect. I’m beyond impressed with how well they managed back to back, 2 day events with 500 guests! I was especially worried about a specific vendor who no one should EVER use (Picture Perfect Party Rentals) but Jayne was able to manage and delegate tasks to get everything done. If you’re uneasy about spending $ on coordination, know that peace of mind is priceless and this would be the wisest investment you can make. Jayne (at Your Day By J & K) was the best! Hiring them for our wedding was one of the very best decisions we made. Both my husband and I have worked in the hospitality industry for years and wanted to make sure that we found someone that knew what they were doing, understood our vision and that we could trust would take care of everything on our big day. Jayne and team were absolutely phenomenal!
We had a multicultural wedding. Lots of different cultures, personalities, languages, generations, etc– and everyone agreed– Jayne was great to work with. She has a great personality and easily handles anything that comes her way. I super highly recommend them to anyone looking for a Wedding Coordinator.

Joseph and his team coordinated our wedding at the Richard Nixon Library in Yorba Linda, CA on Feb. 14, 2015.
It’s hard to know where to start, without getting overly emotional on how much I love and appreciate Joseph for everything he did for us throughout the wedding-​planning process. Although we only hired his team for day-​of coordination, Joseph met with me multiple times months before the wedding to go over all the details. He was incredibly organized, providing us with documents pertaining to timeline, décor inventory, vendor information, and even budget tracking. From the get-​go he was incredibly kind, flexible, and helped us work out details we didn’t even think about. :)
The week of the wedding, Joseph took the initiative to help us take all of our décor (which included 21 centerpieces we did ourselves!) to the venue. He also contacted each of my vendors well in advance to confirm load-​in/​out times, schedules, and any other details we might need a second pair of eyes on.
He took charge of the rehearsal and completely organized everything, which I didn’t ask or expect him to do. The day of the wedding, him and his team set up EVERYTHING – flowers, runners, candles, ceremony décor, reception décor… my family and I didn’t have to worry about setting-​up a single thing, and were able to enjoy every second of getting ready in our hotel rooms. The wedding itself went flawlessly… Joseph and his team helped wrangle family members and our wedding party for photographs, made sure catering and our other vendors were setting-​up as planned, and even followed me with water so I wouldn’t get dry mouth during photos! At the single mention of my feet starting to hurt, Joseph darted down to the bridal room and grabbed my ballet flats so I could go on through the day without pain. :)
If all of that wasn’t enough, Jospeh and his team stayed late to help clean-​up EVERYTHING, which was no easy feat with all of the DIY décor we had throughout the venue. He organized everything perfectly back into their boxes, and had everything arranged for us to pick up the next day.
I hired J & K because I didn’t want to worry about setting-​up decorations with a limited time span the day of the wedding… little did I know, I would receive more than I could ever ask for. Every tiny detail was taken care of by Joseph and his team, and I couldn’t be more thankful for all of their incredible kindness and hard work throughout the ENTIRE wedding-​planning process. To top it off, I’m still getting phone calls from wedding attendees who said that Jospeh and his team were the «nicest and most helpful» coordination team they had ever met… and that our wedding was the most fun and beautiful one they’d ever been to! My fiancé both agree that Joseph and his team were single-​handedly the BEST decision we made during the entire wedding process.

We honestly cannot say enough good things about Your Day by J and K. Jayne coordinated our reception on October 25^th, 2014 at the Bowers Museum in Santa Ana, and she and the whole staff made the process a breeze.
Jayne’s nature – warm and friendly, extremely organized and detail oriented – made her a tremendous partner in planning, and she ensured that the event reflected what Drew and I wanted at every turn. She routinely brought up issues we’d never have considered, and her experience and cool head took a lot of weight off of our shoulders leading up to the big day.
When the day finally arrived, Jayne and her team were incredibly attentive and thoughtful. They seamlessly guided us through a tight schedule that included numerous toasts, multiple song performances and 20+ table visits, gracefully navigating every potential obstacle along the way. There wasn’t a moment when we felt like we had to worry or stress – we never even had to think about freshening our drinks. They were almost telepathic in their prediction of our needs and those of our guests.
If you’re feeling overwhelmed by pre-​wedding stress, hiring Jayne and co. is the best decision you could make.

Before I really understood the role of a wedding coordinator, I would think to myself. what are we paying them for again? Then came all the intricate details of planning a wedding, the task of having a rehearsal, and of course, the 3 498 249 details to be attended to on the actual wedding day. When we met with Jayne during our planning process, we were impressed by how personable, friendly, organized, meticulous, and helpful she was. She was always available by text/​email/​phone calls– and responded to me so quickly and thoroughly each time I had a question or concern. She directed our wedding rehearsal very smoothly, and managed each of our vendors like a boss. I already felt really glad and grateful that we hired her. THEN came the actual wedding day, I honestly felt like I could enjoy my day because I could trust Jayne 100% to take care of all loose ends/​emergencies/​guest needs/​etc. For example, my florist forgot to send over one of our parents’ boutonnieres– and Jayne called the florist, had one made, and had it picked up. No sweat. I would highly recommend Your Day By J & K, and would especially vouch for how awesome Jayne is!

As a DJ, it can be a little stressful if you don’t have an experienced coordinator. They play a very crucial part of a wedding in making sure everything runs smoothly. Jayne has been superb the few times we’ve worked together. She’s prompt, organized, and super friendly. She’s definitely one of our new favorites!

This is such an overdue review, but a much deserved one! My husband and I got married July 5 and after stressing out over planning for months before the wedding, we finally decided to look into wedding coordinators to keep our sanity. After researching and interviewing many coordinators, we felt most connected with Kim from Your Day by J & K. We have to say it was THE ABSOLUTE BEST DECISION EVER MADE throughout the ENTIRE WEDDING PLANNING PROCESS!
We had such a great experience with Your Day by J & K, and Kim was great with keeping us in tune with all the details of wedding planning and put together a great timeline. She is the absolute sweetest person, is super understanding of our needs/​desires/​dislikes, and is so well-​organized. She brought up issues and concerns that we wouldn’t even have thought of, which was so helpful! She and her team contacted all of our vendors and helped to coordinate their arrivals. On our wedding day, we really did not have much to worry about, as the team of Your Day by J & K literally took care of everything — starting with gathering the items (i.e. food catering, flowers) from the wee hours of the morning until the end of the evening when they packed our belongings for us to head back home. Kim and her team would periodically make sure we ate and drank, even bringing me some water and my husband his favorite drink, «Twilight Rising,» and they kept us on track with our timeline. On top of all this, there were apparently some major issues that came up on the day of, and we (nor our guests) had any clue about them until maybe 2 weeks after the wedding when we heard it from another vendor! Had we known that same day, we would’ve had a huge fit! This is all thanks to Your Day by J & K for taking on the stress for us so that we could enjoy our day 100%. Thank you so much again for all of your hard work and dedication! We definitely recommend them for all of your planning/​coordinating events!

I had the pleasure of working with Jayne & Kim last night at a wedding I was shooting. OMG… These ladies are ON IT! I’ve never had a better team to work with at any of my weddings! If you are getting married or planning a big event, do NOT pass these ladies up. They’re fun to work with and they dont let anything slip through the cracks! I plan to refer ALL of my brides to them for sure.

Ive worked with Jayne at Your Day By J & K for about 5 or 6 years. She is the only person that I can refer people to for event planning because I feel so confident that the person will be taken care of like I would take care of them. Your Day is organized and professional and always on top of everything, which is key when you have a million little details to take care of.

I just got married on July 5^th and it was beyond perfect, I have no one to thank but Joseph Fong. I hired Your Day by J & K a few months before my wedding because I needed a coordinator and it was the best decision I ever made. He was so detailed and beyond organized, always prompt to emails, calls, and texts. I was always in the loop and was never stressed at all.
Everyone told me up until the day before that I am the most calm bride they had ever met, this is 100% because of Joseph. Literally all I had to do was show up day of, everything was planned out perfectly. We received so many compliments afterward saying that it was the most organized and beautiful wedding they had ever been to.
I was kind of sad to say bye to him the night of my wedding, he was less of someone you hire and more of a friend, it’s an amazing experience and I wouldn’t hesitate using them again for any other event!

My wife and I hired your day by J and k for our wedding. We had a 350 person guest list and a 17 person bridal party. We could not have asked for a better wedding day. Everything went smoothly and they went above and beyond what we expected and needed for a perfect day. To handle such a large guest list and wedding party with such ease amazed us. The day ran smoothly and my wife and I had the time of our lives. We can’t thank your day by J and K enough for making our wedding dreams come true.

I randomly found Hayashi Events when I was looking for a coordinator to help with just the wedding. Since I was on a budget it was hard but Kimberly got me in contact with Jayne Shim. Let me tell you this girl was WONDERFUL and saved me from going crazy! She was easy to communicate with and all I had to do was tell her what I wanted and she coordinated everything for me. She truly went above and beyond for me!
It was hard for me since my bridal party wasn’t really active in helping and Jayne did everything for me. Being 5 months pregnant i’m sure i was not easy to deal with!
She was great and I definately have her in mind for other future events.
