Please read: I really have no association with anybody from this place unbiased let me start off by saying that– I started going to this place because I got a cat from the pound and it was super sick and no one would take me that day for an appointment and they were the only ones that would get me in and as a free baby parents you know what it’s like to have a sick child they were great they took great care of her and she was better in a month with meds — another time I brought a cat in it wasn’t even our cat it was a cat that we feed outside that somebody left when they lost their place so it became the neighborhood cat the cat got into some kind of fight or something and had a bad fight — we ended up paying $ 300 for this cat for surgery in like a hematoma to and the person at the place ended up asking us to keep this cat so he can keep it indoors the only problem I had was he promised to update us with his cat and never did I would back time after time to find out about this cat they changed ownership and I never heard from this person again and I paid for a bill and I was promised to be updated with this it broke my heart — BUT LIKE I SAID IT IS UNDER NEW OWENS NOW — so my story now I went back because I got a new child a dog and we need to get him all checked out and they saw him that day with no appointment and it was pretty reasonable the staff was friendly they were very busy and they played with him and loved on him and I saw it with other animals too — my point is yes I did have bad experience but it was with the old place but I did try the new place and I was super happy the price was reasonable but if I never go back and something changes I have no problem changing my opinion either — I hope this helps someone

I have brought my dogs to this vet quite a few times, but after the last visit, I will not be back. I initially called them to check on the prices for teeth cleaning and teeth pulling. I was told that pricing could not be given over the phone and that I needed to come to the office in order to get a quote.
Once I got there, I was told that my dog would have to get a physical and have his shots updated in order for me to get a price quote. That sounded strange to me, but I agreed to it. The doctor came in and gave him shots and then he said he couldn’t really give me an accurate quote on his teeth because he couldn’t see the back of his mouth. So I came in for a visit for nothing.
The best part is that my quote came out to $ 1200– $ 1300 for my dogs teeth. I paid only $ 400 at another vet.

I’m not sure why they have such a low rating, I’ve been a customer here for over 4 years and have never had any kind of issue, with either the staff or their treatment of my beloved pets.
My cat has been through extensive allergy therapy & I’ve always welcomed the Dr’s advice & suggestions and we’ve finally got his allergies settled down. Both he and our large dog have had their regular check ups, shots, dental work (NAD & under anesthetic) and we’ve always come out feeling well taken care of.
They understand that we work within a budget and do not push expensive treatments on us if there is a cheaper, but still effective options and they allow me to make decisions based on our budget (unlike other places which in the past have tried to guilt trip me into thinking that spending more is the only way to go). They also have monthly specials if you sign up for their emails.
The new Dr (Dr Molina) is so lovely and she seems to really adore animals.
Honestly, don’t take my word, or anyone else’s negative words — just go and check them out yourself (they offer a free exam to new customers!).

These guys were able to get me in for a same-​day appointment. I knew that my dog Nova had a bladder infection because she started having accidents in the house and I saw crystals on the carpet. Poor baby! They were able to get her on antibiotics and do a urinalysis. They did encourage me to get an X-​Ray to ensure that she doesn’t have kidney stones, and thankfully she doesn’t. This office visit set me back $ 335 after the Unilocal deal and Free first exam. They had prescribed her amoxicillin for $ 42, but I had them write me a script and I got it at CVS for $ 17 instead. The next day the office called and wanted me to spend another $ 180 for additional lab work to determine exactly what type of bacteria Nova was hosting, and at first I agreed, but then called back to decline. Money is tight, I want to do what’s best for my dog, but maybe I will focus on the current run of antibiotics before I rush to do anything more drastic. When going over the X-​Ray, the doctor noted the good health of all of her organs, which leads me to believe that this is a simple problem of my dog trying to hold her pee for too long and making herself sick. Girl, I put those newspapers out on the floor for a reason!
The vet here would like me to follow up with another urinalysis two weeks after she is done with the amoxicillin. I may do so, but with a new vet I am always concerned… One has to weigh whether they are playing on your emotions and love for your pet by selling unnecessary care in an excess of caution.
I will say that all the staff was very friendly and loved my dog, saying she was the sweetest. I’ve never had a vet tech say that to me (Nova is a very high energy terrier and LOVES meeting people so she has no chill), so that was nice to hear.

I would give this place a zero if I could. The past couple of times that I have been here have not been the best. The staff is alright even though half the time they seem to not want to be there, which is off putting. I want to bring my dog to a place where I feel comfortable too you know?
The vet doesnt even give you a chance to speak. She would ramble on and on about irrelevant things not pertaining to my dog. Not to mention that the medication she prescribed was the same one prescribed in our last two visits which are obviously not working. I’m never coming back here again.

Took our dog in after a minor bite from another dog. Welby administered improper medication and our dog suffered immediate kidney failure from the medication. We had to put our beloved and previously health dog down two weeks later because the medication caused full blown kidney failure.
Welby killed our animal.
We have written to them several times and the vets refuse to return our letters. Other local vets have even sent cards showing their condolences. Welby still has yet to reach out to us.
Don’t let Welby EVER treat your animal.

We have been coming to Orange Villa Vet for years when it transitioned to Welby. Although I had some doubts, when the vet my rescue group uses couldn’t see one of my foster cats, I called Welby and they were able to schedule him in. They gave him (and his siblings) a very comprehensive exam, diagnosed his problem, and gave treatment not only for the primary condition but several other minor concerns — — cats had been pulled from animal shelter. Subsequent follow-​up visit with another vet, was handled with equal expertise and experience. I feel the service was excellent and will not hesitate to bring in my personal cats as they come due for annual check ups.

Brought our puppy here for his second set of shots and they were a little pricey, also they had him get an exam even though he had just had one a couple of weeks before. They told us to come back in three weeks for his rabies and final DHCCP. They also told us twice that no appointment was needed because all he needed was shots. We just showed up today as directed, and they told us he needs another exam (an exam every three weeks?) and that it was going to be at least an hour and a half because we didn’t have an appointment. I would suggest not going to this vet. They waste your time and nickel and dime you. There’s too many vets for this one to be wasting hours of customer’s time.

I thought I would leave a review since the other review here was so negative. I brought my 7 yo dog here because I received an advertisement for a free checkup for first time customers as well as cheaper vaccines on Saturdays. The savings made a difference– I saved close to $ 100. It was very easy to make an appointment– I did so on the phone about 5 days before. I found the staff to be nice and helpful. My doctor was Dr. Molina. The only thing I will say is that it is not the newest or nicest looking facility I have been to, but with the kind care and savings, I am okay with that. My dog is happy and had no bad reactions after the visit. I would come back here in the future.

The new location, Webly, is truly disappointing. The young lady at the front desk in the afternoons is extremely rude. The whole time I was there asking about the new location she was on her phone, chewing her gum while talking, and had such an bad attitude. I’m really upset with the kind of people Affordable Animal Clinic came together with. I love my pets and they mean the world to me so I am definitely concerned about this sort of customer service. I use to always recommend Affordable Animal Clinic to my friends and colleagues but now that they’ve come together with these rude employees that have no idea what customer service is, I will definitely not recommend anyone going there.
