This is the place to go. Everyone is friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. My son has rc cars, planes, boats, quadcopters, rockets etc… they always have what I need and if not in stock they will order it for me. They go above and beyond!!!

I just purchased my first vehicle since I was a kid one of the best experience hobby store shopping I’ve had in a long time RC airplanes, model airplanes, cars trains and all kinds of different hobbies goodies I’ll definitely do all my hobby shopping here Thank You

I have found the sales/​service guys to be very helpful and patient with a new rc hobbyist. The selection of air rc’s is limited, but what they do have is great customer service. I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs help and advise.

This is the go to shop for rc cars, airsoft electronic parts, paint (small scale), and labor for installing. They do great work cheap, and the grampa tech was so nice and LOVES what he does, it becomes kind of contagious. Definitely coming back!

Great experience with everyone at Ultimate Hobbies. I went in because my Traxxas car wasn’t running anymore and it had a burning smell coming from the motor. Hank and Jonathon quickly diagnosed the problem, had all the replacement parts and had my car back up and running in no time. They took the time to explain the issues, why it may have happened and how to mitigate/​eliminate an future issues. Their prices were very reasonable and I would highly recommend them to everyone.

Came here after having trouble with my recent purchase. They manufacturer didn’t make replacement motor or gears that I needed, so they did a lookup on the my receipt which I lost and did an exchange on the spot. Super easy, and now I’m back and flying.

I’ve been regularly dealing with hobby shops for over 25 years and this is by far the best hobby shop I have ever been fortunate enough to come across! Everyone in this store is very straight forward and go out of their way to make sure you both find what you want and know exactly what you’re getting. The general level of staff knowledge in this store rivals that of the most serious hobby geek! They’re all great, but Jonathan who works with drones is truly exceptional. Can’t say enough about this place as everyone from the top on down goes out of their way to make sure you’re happy with both your purchases, and the quality and pricing of your repairs. If you’re looking for a hobby shop… this is it!

This place is worth the drive if you’re not a local!
–Staff/​owners are friendly and knowledgeable. (Edgar, the ojiisan, and ojisan are cool people!)
–Abundant selection for various hobbies.
–The store is clean and products/​models are neatly displayed.
–The events (ie Tamiya Mini 4WD races) they host are fun and the award plaques they give to the winners are a nice touch. Raffle prizes never disappoint.
–Their new location makes it convenient for parents and the like to get their nails done at the spa next door or get some grocery shopping done while the guys get their hobby fix at this Ultimate Hobbies shop. You can actually hang out there yourself if you’re into scrap-​booking because they offer a whole lot in that area, as well.
–Most of the customer’s I’ve encountered there during events have been pretty nice, too.
This is a nice place where my husband and seven year old son will create a lot of hobby building memories. I’ll be there, too!

Great selection of stuff but customer service was a bit lack luster. But they have moved since then.

They are great at offering suggestions and help! They help diagnosing problems. They have someone on site to fix things, and he is a magician. But, they really encourage you to try and fix things yourself.
My son has been into R/​C cars for Years, and he’s now part of an R/​C drag racing league. I credit Ultimate Hobbies and their support for a lot of that.

My son loves this place. People are helpful, knowledgable and prices are good.

they used to be a lot better when they were in the old location. they had a lot more stuff. now they have no Mini-​Z parts I find no reason to visit them anymore.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a manager treat employees so poorly in a retail setting in all my life.
I visited them to get parts for my crawler and while i was speaking to one of the sales guys a guy came out and started berating the cashier in front of everyone. I asked if that was a customer yelling at him and was told that actually it was there boss. I was really shocked by the entire display. The sales guy was really helpful but i don’t think I’ll be coming back.

This place sucks. I remember back at their old shop they used to have everything. They were basically the go to shop for most RC brands, now it’s the same like most other shops, traxxas, hpi, and associated (all a waste). What happened to the other brands like yokomo, tamiya, and serpent? This place is also overpriced. It’s to bad, I used to like coming to their shop. I guess it’s online shopping overseas for me.

This place used to be the best in rc stores, now it’s reduced to a smaller facility with very little rc car kit selection. Items on the shelf are spread out to look like alot but there is ½ the selection there used to be at the old shop. It reminds me of walking into hobby people stores with really no selection. When I walked in the lady that used to run the cash register at there old location was teaching a bunch of old people scrapbooking .one worker told me the hay day of rc is gone and the days of couldn’t keep anything in stock are gone. it was disheartening to hear rc is going out the door. It wasn’t worth my drive to find there n e w location. They still had about 7 people working in there which was about 5 to many for the 2 people browsing with me. Unless there online sales are booming I don’t see ultimate being around much longer. This is deffinatley not the ultimate of 4 years ago or even 2. One good thing is I didn’t see that skinny wavey haired asian man that coughed all the time .so I wasn’t worried about getting sick. thanks for everything over the years ultimate I guess it online time now.

Wide selection of parts. But should you need to order parts because the store is out of stock of them, be warned that you are asked to pay upfront, then when they get in, you will be dinged again because they claim the parts went up in price. Bad way to conduct business.
