I like this outlet since it is near to home and have some of brands I really like like tommy, ann Taylor, banana republic, CK and Victoria’s secret. It has plenty of resturant and fast food too plus 30 amc cinema.
The only negative point about this mall is parking space. It’s hard to find it on weekends.

What keeps me coming back? One word: Nike!
All kidding aside, the Outlets of Orange is an easy drive from the Irvine/​Costa Mesa area and the prices are much better than that of a regular mall. I like to park between Nike and LA Fitness [there’s a gate with an arm that’s up] and I have never had difficulty parking there or behind DnB’s.
Nike: I go frequently you never know what they’ll have in store. You’ll find some great shoes in the back due to returns and if you’re lucky, the store will receive a random shipment and put out some great/​newer stuff! The lines get long over the weekend but move pretty quickly and Nike is always staffed with enough team members to help their customers out.
Penguin: They’ve removed the women’s stuff but I still follow my dad/​brother/​boyfriend in there because I love this Penguin location! Not every single item is on sale but polos, cardigans, and chinos usually are discounted heavily.
Levi’s: I always go straight to the sale rack and sometimes come up with finds that are less than $ 20 [jeans, sweaters, jackets, etc]. I never caught onto the Levi’s craze so I personally wouldn’t want to spend full price on anything in this store.
Steve Madden: So hard to resist on the days that they have their buy one, get one 50% [or more] off!
Hollister: This place is always on sale! Yes, a lot of their clothes are for teenagers but sometimes you find a nice polo /​romper /​cardigan /​jacket /​sweater that’s appropriate for adults. and super cheap [so you don’t feel super guilty about buying it].
Old Navy: I believe this location is an outlet. which is insane because it’s even cheaper than the already cheap Old Navy!
G by Guess: Their sale section seems to always be 50% off which is great when you already have 23 593 456 Vegas outfits but feel the need to buy just one more dress. or crop top. or skirt: D
This list could go on and on because of how many stores there are here. I would definitely recommend stopping by and taking your time. You’ll find some great deals!

This mall is pretty average in terms of everything.
Average stores. Average prices. Average experiences. Average movie theater. Average parking lot.
There’s been so many times I’ve gone here and looked to purchase something, but ended up not doing so because nothing was in my price range.
Stores I love here include of course Buffalo Wild Wings (cheap wings on Tuesdays), Dave N Busters (who doesn’t love games), AMC (they need reclining chairs though), Penguin (I love their polos), and H&M (who doesn’t love cheap s***)?.

The block at Orange now called the Outlets at Orange. This shopping center keeps expanding for the better! Conveniently located on City Drive off the 22 freeway.
They have all the popular stores: Nordstrom Rack, Aldo, H&M, Off Saks 5^th, Forever 21, VS, Guess, and many more. Not enough space to name all the stores! There are a variety of eateries to choose from: El Torito Grill, TGIFridays, Market Broiler, Saddle Ranch Chop House, BJs, Rubios, Charleys, Dave & Busters, Corner Bakery just to name a few.
You can grab a drink at Jamba Juice or Starbucks to take a stroll. Then end the night by catching a movie at AMC 30. Even go for a round of bowling at Lucky Strike. I like that there are so many options here to relax and chill.
Coming soon: Bloomingdales! Parking lot is huge but due to the construction, spaces are minimal. Valet parking is still available for $ 7.

Well, I remember when this place was new. It had some unusual storefronts… large surfers on boards for the surf shop (forgot the name); a beautiful large lei surrounding the Hilo Hattie store which smelled and looked like you were in Hawaii; a grand movie entrance to a theater complete with giant posters of the movies playing that week and cute film roll styled seats to sit on outside. Inside, new clean and sparkly. Huge guitar at the Mars Music store. Interesting eating place like the Alcatraz themed restaurant, the Acapulco and a cool music and movie store (Virgin Megastore) where you could listen before you buy, plus countless unusual items with movies and music as the central theme (t-​shirts, toys, books, etc.)
Well, a lot of that is gone, sadly, along with a large portion of the parking lot. Still has some ok stores… but lets face it, the whole «outlets» name is a marketing scheme, as most of the stores are not outlets and the ones that are (SAks, Neimen Marcus) still have overpriced clothes and goods. Dave and Busters is always a good time. The theater is still there, but with the massive price increases lately of AMC theaters, you would think they could keep it cleaner and update the upholstery.
Really can’t enjoy going there on the weekends because the lack of parking close enough. Not that walking itself is all that bad, but when you need to be on time for a movie’s long lines, are hungry for dinner or the weather is cold or raining, or you have to carry a heavy bowling ball the entire length of the parking lot plus the entire mall because you had to park at the opposite end of the mall that the bowling alley is on… then the walk seems kinda bad.

Even though they have a huge parking lot, it can be pretty difficult to find parking on the weekend. During the weekdays, it’s not too bad.
It’s a good plaza, but not the best. They have your typical array of «mall shops» like Hot Topic, H&M, Spencers, Forever 21, American Eagle, Hollister, etc. If I visit the Outlets, I usually just go for Old Navy. For some reason this particular Old Navy always has awesome deals.
The food court here is meh. They have an Italian option, Wetzel Pretzels, Jamba Juice, a Chinese food option, and a couple other options. If you’re looking for a more table service option they also have about 5 options within a quick walking distance including Johnny Rockets and Buffalo Wild Wings. They also have some other table service options outside of the shopping center itself like El Torito and TGIF.
Overall it’s an okay location. I wish they had a Sephora or Ulta, Planet Beauty doesn’t do it for me personally. I also wish they had more security on site.

I honestly came here as my husband and I needed to kill some time and walk off our large lunch. Despite the negative review, I was pleasantly surprised. It is clean with a good range of stores. The sales weren’t great but we weren’t expecting too much.
We found some awesome deals at Nordstrom Rack (I.e. Clarisonic for only $ 70) so we were happy! Lots of parking too; they even have valet.

Only great thing are lots of stores
There are no regulations for smoking cigarettes and it should be an arrest to be sentence due to a high number of kids and pollution. It should be 200 ft away from thr outlet.
Mall security does a bad job.

This review is based on the restrooms near the pizza place and the Sprint store I believe it is the restrooms are always smelling really bad the ventilation does not work if the owners are reading this it’s quite disgusting the smell and it’s been like this for over 3 years now that I’ve noticed with all the money that this place makes it should be taken care of its like a health hazard

The Outlets. The Block. Whatever. Same thing.
Here’s what I’m thinking:
— Parking is good ONLY Monday-​Thursday. If you come here on a Friday, Saturday, or Sunday you will have to park in BFE. Good luck.
— WHERE ARE ALL THE PARENTS who should be watching their kids??? Yeah, A LOT of unsupervised teenagers hang out here. And not the quiet, polite, respectful ones. No, these are loud, obnoxious, teenage pregnancy waiting to happen kids. How unfortunate.
— The Starbucks is generally pretty crowded all the time.
— There’s a Hurley store here! Yay!
— The pizza place in the food area has a pretty good spinach/​mozz thing.
— The only bigger stores I’ve shopped at were the Nordstom Rack and Neiman Marcus. Both were okay, but nothing too amazing.
— Dave and Buster’s is always a good time.
Overall, I hardly see this place as an outlet center. Feels more like an outdoor shopping mall. With a lot of crowds.

WOW! This place has seriously upgraded with the addition of so many new stores and restaurants. It used to be known as the Block of Orange which what I will always refer to it as. I think the new «Outlets of Orange» name is a little misleading because a lot of the stores are not outlet stores and the prices certainly don’t scream outlet stores. But I don’t come here to shop. I come here because there are a lot of fun things to do.
That is what I like so much about this shopping center and that is what sets it apart for me from other shopping centers. There is actually fun things to do with friends other than just going out to dinner or seeing a movie.
There is a Saddle Ranch (See my previous review) which is so much fun. It’s not just a restaurant; there is a mechanical bull and some nights there is even karaōke. There is a Lucky Strike, which an upscale bowling alley where you can order food and drinks, which I’ve been dying to go to. There is also a Dave and Busters. I am obsessed with Dave and Busters. It is a fun place for everyone.
There are tons of places to eat, there is a movie theater, there are stores and it is also a fun place to hang out and walk around at. Definitely keep this place in mind when thinking about something fun to do one night.

Argh! Do not go here on a Friday night. There is no parking for miiiiiiiles. Ok, maybe I exaggerate. You have to park over by the office buildings near the gym. Laaaaaaame. If you’re going to the Block or the Outlets as they are called nowadays, then be prepared to walk a long way to get where you’re going. Alternatively, you can take an Über. You can be eco-​friendly and carpool. Our you can take a bus. Parking is horrendous.
Alright, beyond that, once you get here you have tons of options like Dave and Busters, Lucky Strike, or Tu Tu Tango. If you’re feeling a little invincible, you can attempt to fly at the Van’s Skate park. Cap the night with a movie at the AMC. the Block is alright. It ain’t square.
My favorite spot here would be the Starbucks. What does that day about the Block?

This shopping center offers a lot of different stores that I frequent. I’ve only been a few times and every single time, it gets completely packed. Parking is a nightmare!
The overall cleanliness of the shopping center is pretty good — there are always janitors around keeping the place nice and tidy.

I had a couple of hours to kill and it is always fun to shop at the outlets so I got dropped off, got a map and mapped out the stores I wanted to visit! I only visited H&M, Forever 21, and a couple other stores but I spent most of my time at H&M as they were having a clearance sale and I found some jeans for $ 15, a sweater for $ 5, leggings for $ 5, such deals!

New name. New decade. Same aversion
My last review was 2007, and this place is still just as dismal and jostling as it has always been. Sure the stores have changed and for the most part, for the better, but the people have remained the same, and that’s was sends me screaming.
Outlets are great for saving a buck, and I have found some incredible deals here, so I do shop here on rare instances, but never have I ever wanted to come here, and now that the crowds have grown as a result of the discounted stores, it’s become even more nerve racking to walk around.
If you’re able to come on a weekday, do it, because it’s pretty peaceful with only a few annoyances here and there, but after work hours and weekends are only if you don’t mind screaming children, mindless youth, and shoulder to shoulder shopping.
Mostly, I come here for Corner Bakery, but now I actually find myself driving way down to Main St. and going to the CB across from the mall (which is also a horrifically depressing shopping destination except for the fact that Dog Haus is there).
You’ll find many discounts here and the selection is pretty decent, so if you’re a normal person with a normal tolerance level, you’ll be fine. Me… I’m old and angry and I hate kids so my 2 stars is mostly based on the environment. The shopping is closer to 4 stars.

I’ve been to the Outlets at Orange for several years now. It used to be called the Block. Over the years, it has changed quite a bit.
The majority of the stores are now clothing stores. I am disappointed by the size, selection, and lack of good sales. I went the day after Black Friday, this year, and the stores didn’t have much, and the sales from Black Friday that were still posted were meh. At the same time, parking was difficult, and we had to circle a bit to find someone just leaving.
I would say South Coast Plaza is the better shopping experience in the area. If you are looking for outlets, the Desert Outlets beat this by a long shot.

I like the «Block» better than the «Outlet» mall that it was renamed to a few years ago, heck even random people I meet still call it the «Block.» I like that this place has a variety of high end brand names for cheaper, I got a Penguin shirt for $ 10 this week and a polo for about $ 20! Very cool.
The Starbucks… O my it was beyond capacity, there were a ton of what appeared to be high schoolers surrounding the joint both inside and out. It was so crowded I honestly couldn’t see where the line started or ended (no joke) it was saturday but It likes their hang out spot there. haha.
Cool place to take a date for an outdoor mall experience of the best around the local area or family. They have Arcade games for family and a bowling alley as well. Their are plenty of shops I wanted to come back for but I spend a bulk of my time at PENGUIN and BANANA REPUBLIC, I was very pleased with the sales they had. :))))

This place is ridiculously crowded — people and kids running around everywhere. It is pretty close to a madhouse, if you ask me. The shopping options where I live — Long Beach — are pretty limited, so when a new outfit is needed, The Outlets at Orange are usually the place to go, especially when I don’t want to make a trek out to the Citadel Outlets in LA.
There are the usual outlets here — my favorites are: Banana Republic, Nike, Neiman Marcus Last Call, and Nordstrom Rack. The selection at these stores are nothing too impressive, but they get the job done. Other locations of these outlets have been better, IMO. There is also an H&M and Victoria’s Secret (non-​outlet) too, so that’s a plus. Notably missing is J. Crew. However, having a Lindt chocolate store automatically gives this place an extra star — I haven’t seen one of these anywhere else — this is saying a lot considering I’m a huge fan of chocolate and shopping.
Dining options are limited. If you’re hungry, I’d recommend going to BJ’s — in the same plaza, not actually in the outlet mall. Everything else is pretty weak.

OK, 99% of you remember when this was the Block at Orange (1998 – 2011), but I remember when it was City Mall (pre-​1998). Which seemed like a big dirty Fedco with a perimeter of «shadies» and a dollar movie theater.
I actually worked a car display here as a product specialist 1998 – 2000. Back then, the reason to go to the Block was for the AMC 30, which surpassed Edwards Big 21. But now that my wife doesn’t sneak into additional movies, a multiplex has lost its interest. I hope that’s what my wife meant when she says size doesn’t matter.
Anyway, what seemed cool and big back in 2000 w/​its huge looming stores and creative storefronts now seems small and lame compared to City Walk and Downtown Disney. And although the word OUTLETS is now incorporated in the name, these aren’t truly outlets. Outlets used to mean a place to get all the discontinued stuff in an inventory so huge they can sell it cheap. Now it just means «kinda big».
I loved Virgin Megastore for its 300 foot wall of headphones to listen to CDs. It’s gone, but it’s featured in the climactic scene from Borat.
So what’s there?
SHOPPING: Burke Williams Day Spa, Last Call by Neiman-​Marcus, Nordstrom Rack, OFF 5^th by Saks Fifth Avenue, DKNY, Banana Republic, Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger, Ann Taylor, Victoria’s Secret, Levis Outlet, Perry Ellis, Original Penguin, U.S. Polo Assn, Hurley, Off Broadway Shoes, Gymboree Outlet, Carter’s, Thrill It Fun Center, H&M, Forever 21, Nike, Converse, Vans skatepark, Skechers, PacSun, Puma, Tilly’s, Old Navy, Hollister, Guitar Center, Bose Factory Store, plus lots of bored teenagers on their phones guarding carts full of sunglasses and phone cases.
ENTERTAINMENT: AMC 30 Movie Theatres and IMAX, Lucky Strike Lanes, Dave & Buster’s and a choo choo.
EATS: Café Tu Tu Tango, Market Broiler, Buffalo Wild Wings, Twin Dragon, L.A. Italian Kitchen, Rubio’s, Subway, Charley’s Steakery, Jamba Juice, Johnny Rockets, Haagen Dazs, Villa Dolce Yogurt, Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory and Corner Bakery Café, and Starbucks, with El Torito, TGIFriday’s, Carl’s Jr, BJ’s Restaurant and Brewhouse, and Krispy Kreme Doughnuts on the outer limits.
Anyway, the reasons I might tell someone (especially a tourist) to go to THE OUTLETS of ORANGE is it satisfies that whole «mall» thing. Main Street in Huntington Beach is nice, though I don’t like the mix of tourists and pants-​draggin’ bros. South Coast Plaza also has the appeal of the largest mall west of the Mississippi, but the high-​end aspect of it is usually only accessible to the snooty or your Filipina aunts.
So why THE OUTLETS? The AMC 30 is not remarkable, but they do have IMAX. The indoor VANS SKATE PARK is an incredible achievement considering how frivolously sue-​happy Americans are… it’s worth 20 minutes of time. Though no restaurant really stands out, the selection is wide ranging. And having taken my students there, I am a big fan of THRILL-​IT. (see separate review). There might not be a lot to do, but it seems like a good place for a teenager to loiter.
And I feel special there, being the only white person there without a stroller or mobility scooter.
