Started career as a Union Electrician, and also ventured into the restaurant business in Chicago. Moved to California in December 1987, couldn’t find work in the electrical industry and wound up getting involved in the specialty advertising industry. Purchased Calvert & Associates in April 1988 and renamed company The Calvert Company. Changed the marketing philosophy to Made-​in-​USA by American Workers and have been very successful since the change…25 years and counting.
