From someone that has an enthusiastic love and appreciation for photography and it’s ability to capture life and the beauty that it holds, I am more than willing to divulge my appreciation for Jordan and his art. I’ve have the absolute pleasure of having Jordan shoot my family and I couldn’t have been more pleased.
He captured who we are as a unit and created a gift for us that we will always have. The greatest thing about Jordan is he seems to have the ability to capture our affection, love and reality without manufacturing anything. His passion is infectious and allows us to be vulnerable and ourselves in front of someone that you would have thought we have known our whole lives. And trust me, this is nearly impossible for me in normal circumstances. I really do feel fortunate to have been the subject of his work and thank him immensely for the treasures that I will have for a long time to come. I will be a repeat customer.

We trust NO ONE else to artistically capture our children, family, and events. Jordan Irwin is an artist. Sure, any average Joe these days can pick up a rad camera at Costco and shoot their brains out – perhaps getting one or two amateur shots in every 1000.
Jordan has not only been photographing for YEARS, he also has been educated in the Art of Photography.
Yes… Sears or Wal-​Mart are cheaper… but like a lot of things: You get what you pay for.

I’ve been looking forward to writing this review for a while, and now that we’ve gotten our wedding proofs, I can finally tell the Unilocal world how pleased we are with our photographer Jordan and with our pictures! When we first started planning our wedding, we were deciding whether or not to hire a photographer and if professional pics were something we could cut out of our budget. We are SO glad we didn’t. It’s the one thing that we look back on and cherish the most from our wedding. And since I love making lists, I’d like to make a list of the top 5 reasons why Jordan is a must for your wedding photography (in no particular order):
1. He is super fast with processing our pictures! In my opinion, after a wedding, the thing you most look forward to, besides the honeymoon and opening the presents, is looking at wedding photos! Our wedding was on a Sat evening, and by Monday morning 10am, Jordan had sent us a few beautiful sneak peek photos. 3 weeks later, we had our proofs of all the photos online with a handy link to share with our friends. Talk about ideal!
2. He goes out of his way to get to know his clients. My husband and I deeply appreciated the fact that Jordan really wanted to understand what would work best for us in terms of wedding pictures. He wanted to cater his photography for the way our wedding was, which was amazing. He demonstrates this through; discussing all the details of our day and what we wanted. He met with us for a walk-​through of our location well before the day of the wedding, as well as multiple phone calls. It gave us a sense of security that anything we needed or wanted we could tell him and it would be covered.
3. He is fun and personable and most importantly professional! Several of my bridesmaids commented that Jordan «definitely has the personality a photographer should have.» That is, he is able to make a person feel instantly comfortable, on and off the camera. Even some of the groomsmen who usually hate being in pictures said they had a lot of fun, which I can definitely tell from the hilarious poses in some of the pictures!
4. He is flexible! We were running a little late for our portraits before the ceremony, and Jordan was able to roll with it and shift our schedule around a bit in order to accommodate everyone. AND he was pleasant through it! This was a great relief and appreciated :)
5. He is a true artist! His pictures and eye for great photos is unparalleled. Most of the photographers we looked at felt like they just had the regular wedding pictures, his felt like art pieces. This was a factor in deciding to make the photography a huge priority. His pictures captured the joy and love we felt that day perfectly. Admittedly, there were a few poses Jordan suggested during the portrait session that I was a bit skeptical of, but of course, these very pictures are some of my favorites.
We feel lucky to have found Jordan while planning our wedding, and he has our highest recommendations. We would give him 6 stars if we could! THANK YOU!
