Super Tacos and Burritos Hernandez

These guys were lovely, arrived right on time, the food was great, and there was more than enough for everyone!
All of our guests enjoyed their food and I would happily book again.

Tacos and Burritos Hernandez was highly referred to me and I’m beyond happy I booked them for my daughter’s first birthday! I called a few other taco caters but not one seem to be that reliable, the last thing I needed was to stress over a caterer not showing up. I communicated with Luis who was always so courteous and sweet. They’re very professional and prompt with responses and also provided a proper invoice and confirmation. They contacted me days prior to confirm my orders and showed up early to set up.
The food was amazing!!! Everything was fresh, clean, high quality meats, salsa and drinks. Like the other reviewers mention their watermelon aqua is seriously phenomenal, wish I can have some right now! Everything was delicious and our guests gave us lots of compliments and wants to book them for their parties. They were very generous with the amount of food provided and packed us the left overs very neatly. All of our guests had seconds and thirds and there were still food left over which we had the next day and it was still bomb!

Just had Jose and his wife cater my mom’s 60^th bday party in Palm Springs. They were really fantastic. It was a higher-​end event at a nice house, and they fit in perfectly with their black uniforms. Leading up to it, Jose returned my calls and texts instantly which made me feel very comfortable with the whole process. The food was fantastic and all homemade by his wife.
Jose’s English is not great, but you can go through his son who speaks it perfectly for all of the important details.
They were very nice people and I highly recommend them.

They are absolutely the best, hands down! Luis and his dad were super professional and the food was absolutely amazing! I asked them to cater my friend’s baby shower and all the guests raved about the food! Luis and his dad even brought fresh watermelon water, which was to die for! Had leftovers that all the guests wanted to take home! The food and service is amazing!

Looking for a good cater? Let’s be honest this is a competitive business but these people really out did themselves price was fair but what made them so special and why i would hire them again is for staying a whole 2 extra hours for zero charge (everyone else would have charged) .They noticed my guests arrived there late and they were kind enough to serve even the last guests that arrived. There food was very good and my guests loved there fresh agua de horchata. People loved the bacon wrapped hot dogs just like in the good olé LA streets. They bring everything plates cups napkins etc makes having a party that much easier. So yes book them for your next party. Because I sure am (:

These guys were on time and very reliable for my daughter’s birthday party. Service was very friendly and punctual, and the experience in general was great. They were also flexible with our needs re headcount and budget. Would be happy to use them again!

I hired Tacos and Burritos Hernandez based on the recommendation of someone in the catering business. They said they were top notch and boy were they right.
Luis and his team stayed in constant communication with us, and were very accommodating to our unique needs. They arrived on time, set up quickly, and were ready to serve by the time promised.
The food was fresh and fantastic. I highly recommend choosing the watermelon as your agua Fresca it was phenomenal!
By the end of our event we had already confirmed them for another event they were doing, and they offered suggestions to us based on the taste of our crowd.
They really go above and beyond.

Great! I hired for sons Graduation/​Going away Party. They were on time, food was fresh, tasty and Guests loved it. I hired for 50 people and there was more then enough food. I did the whole transaction via text message/​email/​PayPal. And everything went great. I definitely will hire them again.
I checked out several other places for what I was offered (3meats, quesadillas, Aqua fresca, paper goods, salsas, rice n beans) and they were the very best price.

We had a birthday party for my daughter today and decided to hire a taco man. The price was low and the food and service was great. We will definitely use them in the future. Thanks again!

The food was delicious, the price was affordable, the service was great. They even packed the leftovers for us.5/5 .Definitely on for the next party! Highly recommend.
They also have a soy chorizo taco, which tasted great, perfect for out vegetarian friends!

After browsing for several taco caterers, I hired tacos Hernandez because they replied promptly to my inquiry and had a great deal for 50 people. The service was perfect, arrived right on time and had everything necessary including forks, plates etc.
The best part is how great the food was. The tacos were some of the best I’ve ever had. Not greasy and quality meats… Delicious!
I would give them 5 stars except I requested fish and guacamole (extra cost) and they forgot to serve them. I think there was some miscommunication…
With that being said, I will definitely hire them again! You won’t be disappointed!

Saw a Craig’s list ad and on Unilocal hired them for my daughter’s baptism on 9÷27÷14 due to the good reviews and price but unfortunately the saying you get what you pay for comes to play on this one they advertised a party for 50 people was 390 with all the plates, salsas, utencils, rice, beans, quesadillas, and 5 gallons of agua. Well they came ahead of time instead of 2:30 they came at 2 set up in a rush and I noticed the meat I work in a grocery meat dept and all the time get taco people come buy a whole lot of meat on sale and freeze it until they use it for a job and that’s what we got the meat was all frost bitten they only cooked /​served for an hour and a half not even half of my guests were there some of my guests asked for quesadillas and said she only had supplies for the tacos which were mediocre we asked for the agua to be horchata and it was suppose to be 5 gallons and it was only Maybe around 3 at best and since the people who were already there ate she said she had to leave because they had another party in lake elsinorei guess the person setting it up needed their help and I asked about the the rest of the meat she was suppose to cook for my guest that haven’t arrived yet and cooked maybe a pound of each meat and told me she was going to leave extra tortillas and by the time we fixed the left overs to our plastic containers she was already packed up asked for the money gave it to her and needed $ 10 in change but she took it as a tip and split I regret paying full price and would not hire them nor do I recommend them if you do hire them ask for a recipt of when the meat was bought God knows how old the meat they fed us was .good or not its a bad thing for a business to do but they do hide their scimming with courtesy never again

We hired Jose for a party and the food was delicious!
He have had other taco guys before but we will definitely be calling him back.
We highly recommend his services, you wont be disappointed.

Pros:
* cheapest price in town (I asked about 5 taco caterers)
* I booked them for a party of 50 and there was more than enough food for everyone
* they provide everything in their package. 3 meats of your choice for the tacos, salsas, condiments, plates, spoons, forks, napkins, agua fresca of your choice, chips, rice, beans and they even cooked hotdogs for the kids!
* no hidden charges. The price they give you is the price you pay (tip ofcourse is optional)
* they leave you the left over food
* they were on time
* guacamole salsa was the bomb!
* al pastor and karnesada meat was good
CONS:
* the horchata and the chicken meat tasted a little plain for my taste
* it took a while for them to respond to my inquiries, I communicated via text. I would text in the morning and i would get a response the next day
Would I hire the for my next event? Yes. Would I recommend them to friends and family? Yes.
