Strand Training Center is a Recreational Trail barn with full horse Care services established in 1990 at Peacock Hill Equestrian Center (under new management) inside Irvine Regional Park in Orange CA… We offer everything a trail rider will need from just starting out on flat open trails to more advanced hills and long distance riding within two connecting regional parks and access to Anaheim Hills as well as being located within 15 miles of over 10 central OC cities! With Recreational and Distance Trail Riding as our main emphasis along with Western and English riding lessons and a full horse care program. I focused on NATRC Competitive Trail Riding starting in 1993, with the help of my clients Bruce and Esther Murphy I fell in love with the gaited horse breeds and since 1997 STC has had an emphasis on them with all breeds welcome. STC has proven itself and what we offer a viable source of horsemanship to anyone who has the desire to do more then just learn how to ride a horse.
