This has to be the friendliest and fastest smog check station I have ever used. I was in and out in 10 minutes! The staff was friendly and welcoming. They have a great special now that beats all of the competition. This one is a no brainer. Bring your own distraction, the magazines and the waiting room are not that great. But who needs those when you are only there for 10 minutes.

These guys are awesome! I showed up on my lunch break, was met by friendly staff who took my truck immediately. In and out in under 30 mins! This is my 5^th time here over the years. I totally recommend this place. It’s hot = wish they had AC, but hey… It’s a garage!

I walked into Smog Pros for a smog check on a Wednesday afternoon around 4:30 and was delighted to find that they were not busy at all. The manager asked me to my pull around back and they immediately got to work. I sat in their garage for around 20 minutes.
The price is a bit more than you might find elsewhere. I know many places advertise 29.99. I don’t know how they compare to Smog Pros; I would imagine there might be quite a wait. I had a coupon for $ 10 off which brought my total down to 48.00
In my opinion, a sign of great businesship, is in the small things. My license plate has been hanging off the front of my bumper for the last month or so; something I keep meaning to fix, but never do, because it requires the right screw and most precious, my time. One of the mechanics noticed my plate and while the car was being smogged, set to fixing it. He smiled at me when he was done. «All fixed.» I was floored, quite frankly. It was not his responsibility to fix this for me. Time is money. However, it was this bit of kindness that sold me as a customer. In the future I will return here for smog checks and recommend Smog Pros to friends and family in the area. Kindness and honesty will get you where low prices and convenience can’t.

I called for price and availability on Monday morning after dropping my kid in daycare. Romeo told me $ 58 out of door and available immediately. I arrived in two minutes but found there were two cars ahead of me. When I confronted Romeo he said the two cars «just pulled out». In two minutes all of sudden two cars pulled out? You must be kidding!!! I decided to call another station. I got price match and immediate availability. In a word, there are NOT HONEST. Don’t do business with them!

Vic at my local Valero said he could not smog my daughter’s 2000 mustang because they were not a «star» station. They recommended this place on the corner of Tustin and Collins in Orange. I highly recommend this place. Romeo, a very kind gentleman, performed the inspection. Fast, cheap and a decent place to sit inside the garage so you can watch them work on your car. I was very pleased and intend to return with my other 3 cars. Thanks Romeo!

Dude that runs the smog check pissed me off. He failed me for a legal aftermarket filter that had passed at this same location two years ago. What really made me mad was the guy could have told me as soon as he popped the hood he was going to fail me before he wasted my time hooking up to the obd2 scanner and running my truck on the dyno, which forced me to have to pay.
I would have come back if he told me I needed to fix the problem… I would have respected him for that, but now I’ll take my two vehicles, and my girlfriend’s vehicle elsewhere.

Can I give zero stars??? Here’s a tip to the halfwit who barely speaks English and answers the phone: DON’T TELL PEOPLE TO COME AT A CERTAIN TIME WHEN YOU DON’T TAKE APPOINTMENTS!!!
I drove all the way across town to be there at the time you quoted and there’s a 45 minute wait??? Get a clue. You wasted my time, you wasted my gas, and you wasted my money all because you are incapable of doing your job.

Great service! My car was in on a Saturday morning and I expected to wait on a weekend. The man who serviced my car apologized for the wait but it was not that long (30 minutes). Only two people were ahead of me at 8:40 a.m. It was not a bad wait time at all.
After my car passed the smog check, the service man sent in the certificate to the DMV. The total cost was $ 58.20.
I told the man (who I should have gotten his name… so sorry) that I found him on Unilocal and I will refer others to him.

The best place to get u smog test done and get u your register. They our very professional get you in and out in 20 min or less even save u a trip to DMV with getting your car registering and sticker. I been going there for 15 years never have had any problems I won’t not take my car anywhere else.

Tuan was very helpful and honest when I called for a quote. He was able to work me in on a Monday morning. Everything is first come first served but there are 2 bays so things move along well. Great customer service. No b.s.

Took my 1988 Land Cruiser here today and Romeo was very knowledgeable, fast and efficient. Found a coupon online also.
