My grandmother passed away in early 2015 and Mr. Link was extremely helpful and accommodating during this very difficult time for our family. Highest recommendation possible.

On 10−11−12, my father passed away. Having no experience with death, I called the one person I knew who could have helped me. I contacted Charles Link who works at Shannon Bryan Mortuary. Charles happened to be on vacation. Still, he went beyond the call of duty to help out my mother and myself. When it came time to say goodbye to my father, the staff at Shannon Bryan were extremely compassionate and respectful. They made the absolute worst day in my life the least stressful situation. For that, I am eternally grateful. Thank you for that, Shannon Bryan Mortuary.

I’ve been to many mortuaries in Orange county/​Riverside County/​& Los Angeles County, for 13 years as I am a Reverend, I perform theses special ceremonies at many mortuary locations where I am needed believe me I’ve been to real bad mortuaries through out my years as a Reverend. ** I was here last Friday 01-​15-​2016, to visit my friend Rosalina Cuevas who has past away she was taken here in Orange to be near her family and friends for every ones convenience, this place is a great little place and private facility, very home like style to let the diseased be viewed and respected. the staff was great they were all very professional and friendly and respectful, I want to comment on the make up job their artist performed and hair style that was on the diseased. It was absolutely perfect, she had her look better that day then she ever was in real life very natural looking. the artist here is excellent, she can turn unattractive and mature people to beauty truth be told, I was amazed how natural the artist made my friends face appear. her family was very pleased with all the services, her children appreciated all the care and consideration they were given through out the process.

the parking was perfect there was plenty of parking in the back of the mortuary and in the parking lot on Maple street, it was free parking to all visitors, the mortuary would give you a *FREE PARKING PASS* IF YOU ASK FOR IT. to that parking lot, so your vehicle won’t be tolled away. Call this mortuary and they will tell you on the phone, so you are aware of the free pass. The people who made the bad review on this location regarding the parking lot is an ignorant fool it must of been their first funeral view or wake. this location is right by the famous Glassell Circle in Orange, near many eateries, restaurants and gift shops on Glassell, and many parking on the streets and behind the stores, it only takes 4 minutes or less to get to the mortuary if the funeral/​wake/​rosary/​view is huge, so there’s no excuse, that complainer on Unilocal was just lazy to walk or ask for assistance at the office. the mortuary building itself is charming, clean and has clean bathrooms. I recommend this place for your future needs, I myself will purchase their package for my future’s needs when it comes to pass, my family picks this facility to service us in the future. its better to plan a head then giving the financial burdens to your loved ones.

They not only took great care of my mom but I felt cared for as well. My mom passed unexpectedly in early December and Nancy along with her staff were very attentive of myself and my family, Stacie handled the issues we were having with getting the death certificate signed and gave me several ways to contact her for any questions or concerns I had and I had a lot but she was always kind. Nancy even asked me to sit and talk with her when I had returned to pick up paperwork and invited me to come talk whenever I need to. Very professional and caring people

My parents pre-​planned their arrangements. My Father passed away in August, and the mortuary took care of everything. We had a difficult situation with the physician not signing the pronouncement of death, and daily for almost 2 weeks Vicki chased down the Dr. and the care facility trying to get the paperwork in order so my Father could be cremated. It was a huge kindness that my family was not burdened with the task of trying to get compliance from the health care parties. They showed kindness and patience to my Mother and our family as we maneuvered through one of the most painful life experiences. I highly recommend them.

At a hard time in any family’s life we were looking for direction and help. Unfortunately this was not the case for our family. We found the service to be lacking, the actual mortuary to be unorganized and not very clean. There seemed to be one mistake after another, which made a hard time even harder. Where other people have shared that they took care of every detail, we found that we had to be on every detail ourselves because so many mistakes were made. During this very sad and overwhelming time, we were completely disappointed in the level of service we received and the lack of sincere response when we expressed the problems we encountered.

I feel weird writing a review on a place like this, but this business deserves 5 stars. My fiancés family unfortunately has had 2 deaths in the past year, and Shannon Bryan has handled both of them. They are respectful, patient, and understanding to the families and put on a beautiful service.

Our family has used the Shannon Bryan Mortuary for generations. Recently my husband passed away unexpectedly and the grief and shock for all of us was acute. The Shannon personnel were so kind, so professional and took care of every detail for us, from placing the obituary in the paper, to making a video for us, and preparing for butterflies to be released at gravesite. They really make a trying time a lot easier for everyone. I highly recommend them if you have the unfortunate task of planning a funeral for your loved one

Although my grandpas service was really nice, my family and I were disappointed at how fast we were rushed out for another service after ours. We should have been informed just incase we had another day that would work better. A lot of our guests were showing up as we were getting «kicked» out. We have had all of our family members services here and never had this issue. I guess business is business no matter what. Make sure you get ALL the details before picking a day/​time.

I would recommend Shannon Bryan to anyone. They helped my family through the most difficult of times.. The staff is outstanding compassionate, helpful and flexible. It was very refreshing to work with people who obviously take great pride in their work.

I don’t even know where to begin. We were in a tough situation. My father passed away in Las Vegas and his body was shipped into Los Angeles. The mortuary we hired had completely dropped the ball and didn’t get his body shipped. As you can imagine we were scrambling to get him to his funeral. I called Shannon-​Bryan Mortuary and spoke to Vicki. She dropped everything once I told her my story and helped me facilitate getting him to their location to casket him and get him to the services. He arrived at 4:00pm on the dot– Just in time for the start of his funeral. This would not have been possible without the help from Shannon-​Bryan Mortuary. I highly recommend using their services.

For a very tough situation for our family, SB did a wonderful job making this transition smooth and hassle free. Our Grandfathers service went with out any problems. They were so respectful and comforting.

It’s hardly a «Woohoo! As good as it gets!» occasion, using a mortuary. But this is a family-​owned endeavor and it is a lovely, thoughtful, and comforting place. No «upselling.» No pressure. Prompt return of telephone calls. Informative as details arise (service, availability of death certificates, etc.). Vicky was wonderful with my elderly mother, very tender and caring. Charlie was at the memorial service for my father and handled all the minor details (ushering, passing out directions to the reception) and the major details (my dad’s urn) with a calm presence. Can’t say enough good about this place.

Shannon– Bryan Mortuary was great! They were understanding and flexible with us. They made such a difficult time so much easier. They walked us through the steps and were very competitive in their pricing. They surpassed other mortuary’s from the initial contact to the very last.
It meant so much to us to be able to put our guard down during such a trying time. I can actually say that We trusted them to NOT take advantage of us.

Shannon-​Bryan Mortuary helped us almost a year ago at a very hard time in our lives… I meant to review them sooner but forgot. It was June of 2010 and my Father in Law passed away. I was in charge of the funeral arrangements for their family.
You always hear stories of how people get ripped off in funeral services, embalming, etc. NOT here– I was worried about what a fair price was so called around for estimates and was told $ 6 – 8 Thousand for Embalming, memorial service, cremation, pamphlets, etc. First of all Mr. Woosley was so patient and sincere with all our options… Although it was a very hard time for us– he made it as easy as possible. Further their cost was less than half what the other places told me.
When the day of the service came, we received many compliments on how well everything was done and how good they embalmed him. IT was very professional and I was pleased with how everything came about– they really gave us an intimate setting for the memorial without making it feel like a funeral parlor.
I cannot thank them enough for all that they did for us! I sincerely hope you consider them if ever needed.

Small mortuary but the director does an outstanding job. He is kind of laid back but knowledgeable and professional .Have a great selection of caskets and urns. I highly recommend thus mortuary
